It's all falling apart alarmingly fast for Boris Johnson across the water. How long you reckon he has left as British Prime Minister? Hours surely?
How many parties are they talking about now? I've lost count.

Especially when all attention will be on the leadership race. There’ll be a vote every day from Tuesday until recess assuming 10 candidates
so half the cabinet will spend literally all day every day trying to do backroom deals
When it comes down to it for both Boris and Trump , if either of them had thought about someone other than themselves even briefly they'd probably both be in clover.
Their all-consuming Narcissism is what broke them both.
After everything that happened in the past two days, Boris is still in Number 10 and still the PM.
Extraordinary that the Tories are letting him stay in power.
Perhaps Labour need to table a VONC in parliament
Well the English and Welsh recently found out Ireland is very important to them and their precious Brexit.
Ed couldn't eat a sandwich in the tabloid approved way so it was probably for the best.
At least Sam would park the bus!!!
Basically that is it.
This is why he clings on
He has a sense of humour at least.
This ni protocol might get extra attention if Boris hangs on, he will want to get rid of the asterix next to "got Brexit done*"
Been a mad few hours.
Don't know if this was posted by anyone, or even me, but just in case....
Now the new Cabinet setting ground rules for Boris, if it wasn't so serious, it would be hilarious.
Sam Coates at Sky saying ignore Boris's semantics, this is heading towards a constitutional crisis.
Notwithstanding Boris still PM, he'll be surrounded by Treatcherous fools who'll take no instruction from the PM, there'll be no cabinet consensus, it will be an absurd spectle of rudderless fools with essentially no Mandate or leader until October and anyone foolish enough to think Boris won't try and pull more stunts is quite delusional.
It's by any measure, Bonkers and an extraordinary state of affairs.
So why are the "English" blocking Indyref2?
we aren't????
Of course it is , because it's all about him.
He's not thinking about the Country or the Tory party, he's thinking about his big fancy party paid for by the state (with lots of cash gifts from dubious guests) and making sure that he at least serves longer than Theresa May.
With all that was going on you might have missed this...
Just quoting for posterity 👍️
Amazing how wrong one person can be when the rest of the thread could clearly see the wood for the trees.
Really, tell us all. Nothing at all to stop them breaking their word and carrying on. Then it'll be up to us in the Republic to monitor our borders, that's how it works in the Single Market. A price of course for the UK, but you do realise, we are very easily collateral damage. Not in our control.
UK has not control over the decision making process in Rep of Ireland
The UK is/was our closest trading partner. The legacy of her Empire is still an ongoing situation in the North. Her Brexit has caused much turmoil for us and continues to do so. Every decision Britain makes with regards to certain things has a direct impact on Ireland, both in the Republic and the North.
If you don't know these basic items, you really shouldn't be commenting on the thread.
You need to learn the difference between having / expressing an opinion and puerile name calling / stereotyping bulls*t
When you do, your "opinion" may at least be respected
Very misleading.
On the first quote, I was right; he did turn out to win the contest and did continue as Prime Minister.
On the second quote, I was right there, too - because Boris Johnson survived (this was 2 June, for context).
On the third quote, I was also right - as Johnson wasn't unseated as Prime Minister even though the number of letters was reached.
You conveniently didn't quote me from the past few days in which I said Boris Johnson was toast. This was after the Pincher scandal and when it was becoming obvious that a terminal heave against the PM was underway.
So on the three quotes, I was right (at the time, in that context), and when the facts changed re: the Pincher scandal, I was among the first on here to say that he was toast. In fact, my exact quote was "Even I can see that Boris Johnson is now toast".
So nice try there, but what an absolutely epic fail.
I've been conflicted about whether I want him to go or not, but only because I think the longer he stays in power, the more damage he does to the Tory party brand. It might be better to have him stay there destroying the whole rotten edifice from within.
Even if he behaved with perfect honour and decorum from now on, there would still be a succession of skeletons crashing out of closets because of how he has lived his life.
I know Nadine Dorries gets slagged to hell on here, albeit a little too harshly in my view, but I did come across this and thought it quite humorous.
That's right wingers for you.
aah, so if Michael Gove steps in as interim Prime Minster and blocks it, it is the Scots blocking indyref2?
that's brilliant. Thanks for cheering me up Bob, much appreciated.
I trust you will now go and chastise all those calling Boris puerile names.
nope, I guessed not🤣
Breezy seams to believe the English and Welsh care if there is a border in Ireland or down the Irish sea.
..
oh dear, has someone else got a different opinion to you?
😂😂😂 To funny
