Does Australia require a test as well as vaccination to fly into ?
I was reading on their travel info page that you need to be vaccinated + test.
I thought it was just vaccinated.
Spain are dropping the requirement to wear masks indoors from April 19th. Public transport is an exception however.
You live in Spain right ?
Did you "loath" the people not wearing masks outdoors when it was legally required ?
That just leaves onboard aeroplanes as the only place where masks have an existing mandate. Hopefully that too is removed soon (if not then it brings into question the effectiveness of hepa-filters which are in 95% of all commercial airlines). Personally speaking the wearing of masks on a recent long-haul flight was a very uncomfortable experience and I felt sorry for the airline staff needing to enforce such redundant covid rules.
Think Spain removing need to fill in the health form form the 19th April for vaccinated folk, will try find link.
What a stupid question
Yep that's correct. For EU folks anyway, The rules for Brits and non EU visitors aren't entirely clear on it yet.
No not a stupid question, you stated you "loathe people who didn't follow the mask rules" on a previous post, and am genuinely curious how as a resident of Spain you felt about that particular ridiculous rule
You are in your hoop curious.
"genuinely curious how as a resident of Spain you felt about that particular ridiculous rule"
"genuinely curious how as a resident of Spain you felt about that particular
Instead, you are looking to argue or demean anyone who doesn't agree with your perspective on a matter.
Move along and focus on something more worthwhile rather than stirring crap in a thread about travel.
having just done a recent flight to the states I had no problems wearing the mask long haul and felt safer with it on. And no one else on the flight had a problem either
Different strokes for different folks 👍
Thank you, now I know you agreed with an authoritarian rule - making you an authoritarian yourself.
Is it from then as it doesn't seem to be a requirement this evening. I was looking as we are going next week but its not the same information as yesterday. So now I'm not sure. We have recovery certs for all travelling and covid certs for all adults.
The requirement for the P. L. F. has already been removed.
You no longer need to fill in a SpTH form if you have a valid EU DCC...from what I can gather anyway.
Would you what is the story if kids are under 12? I assume they are exempt from everything.
Hahahahahahaha can’t believe you took the bait 🤣
Yes under 12s are exempt
I cant find the option for filling in a health for for Spain ...have they removed it ?
It’s no longer required if you have the DCC.
Yeah, is there anywhere in the EU/UK with restrictions on entering still? How many countries still need a DCC now?
Technically Spain still needs the DCC, you don't need to fill out the health form, they just check the DCC - in reality they barely glance at it though ...
Any issues using a recovery cert to enter Portugal and Spain?
Don't have a booster.
Presume there is no requirement for a test either with a valid recovery cert?
We flew into Murcia last Thursday. We had put our details into the app so we’re waved through with a glance at the fast control QR code on our phones. Those with DCC certs were stopped and scanned. No biggy very fast process for everyone
Does anyone on know what is the current situation when travelling to Dubai. Myself and my Mrs intend to travel in early June for a week. Both of us currently tested positive for covid (pcr) in the last few days, so we'll have a recovery cert, Mrs is boosted I'm not.
Do I need another negative pcr test before I go (within 48hrs) or will the recovery cert do for entry.
TIA
Do Spain accept the irish covid cert ? or do you need to have it modified to EU standard ?
The Irish DCC is an EU cert.
Has anyone flown to France recently and what's required.
I have covid cert but never got a booster, so it's out of date maybe?
Thailand has ditched both the pre and post flight testing for vaccinated travelers from 1 May.
We booked Europe as we couldn't wait for this summer....Guess we are going next year!!!
New Zealand have opened up to international tourists again, but you need a test as well as vaccinated, who is going to risk that for such a huge trip ?
This is great news for Thailand (& visitors!). I am just back and luckily didn’t run into any problems with the on-arrival testing but brilliant to see that requirement go.
Also, Maya Bay (the beach) has re-opened after having been closed for around 4 years of conservation.
Happy planning!
