Got a confirmed vaccine appointment - Post your age and appointment date.
So we can see exactly what ages they are vaccinating at any time.
Dont post if you've already been vaccinated.
Obviously I havent got an appointment to post, so am curious to find out what age they are actually doing at the moment.

Not really early or a surprise though if your GP has taken your name to get one!

I have no idea how GPs are able to prebook and get vaccines delivered for people that are not in a cohort 4/7, over 70 etc, or in the age groups that are open for registration in mvc. There must be absolutely no control over them. These aren't last minute, end of the vial, no one else to vaccinate around them vaccine, this is clearly pre-ordered.

That’s it. The paperwork given with the vaccine states 3 weeks but they’ve been giving it after a month here, give or take a few days.

Different MVC too - Greystones rather than Aviva, maybe because the new Kilanerin vaccination centre is taking some load for south Wicklow and north Wexford.

I also had a different location for my second jab. According to the agent on the HSE helpline it is random.

I think the earliest possible is 21 days but in practice we're aiming for 28, or as close to that as possible.

No I understood that but I was the one being unclear. I meant he got the appointment message very early.

At least 28 days before the second vaccine. So could be 4-5 days after that even. So wouldn't worry. I am due my second one on the 7th July as that is the 28 days, doesn't mean it will happen on that day though in City West

Yes, mine was 30 days after the first (text received On Tuesday - day 25).

Citywest today was amazing. At a guess I had the vaccine less than 5 minutes after parking the car!

I'm 39 (an '81 baby), registered last Sunday, got the text yesterday for an appointment tomorrow for the Pfizer jab at the racecourse in Galway.

Spoke to someone today, turned 40 two weeks ago, Dublin 6W, texted today for Pfizer tomorrow in the Aviva.

So I'd say if you're a 1981 baby or earlier in South Dublin, they'll get to you sometime this week.

31 year old husband got a text from GP on Friday night to book vaccine appointment if he wanted to so he's getting Pfizer tomorrow. 2nd dose automatically booked for 4 weeks time.
He wasn't expecting it at all and was hoping to register in a few weeks when the portal opened.

Appointment: tomorrow for Pfizer. Text came through Friday 3 weeks and 2 days after registering.
Mvc- an hour away in Meath even though I’m in Louth close to the MVC. Every single 40 plus in Louth seems to be sent all over the place while the Fairways focuses on second dose for 60 plus. More than happy to travel though

Only 300 pharmacies are getting Pfizer doses for over 35s. Mainly ones in rural areas and over 5km away from a MVC.
