So this week we have the just under 80k doses being administered.

Next week is 109,990 between Monday to Sunday

Long term care facilties

Dose 1 - 8,500 (Pfizer)
Dose 2 - 3,400 (Pfizer)

Front line healthcare workers

Dose 1 - 60,000 (AZ)
Dose 2 - 2,000 (Pfizer)

Over 70s
Dose 1 - 26,000 (Pfizer) & 10,000 (Moderna)

It's not a poor return as up to Sunday this week is 12k planned. Was all announced last week that it was only around 80 practises being trialled this week

I thought Reid said there would be 12k jabs administered by GP's this week to over 85's.
If not then my bad.

Great news - how can another 60,000 first doses go into cohort 2? How many are in that group?

They only have 12,000 jabs or so this week so that's a third of shots.

There shouldn't be. That group was supposed to be about 95K. More likely to be group 4 I reckon.

Nah, there's something still funky in that data. It's showing 199,980 doses distributed to Ireland.

But the HSE are reporting 280,851 doses administered as of Monday.

So there are least that many have been distributed to Ireland, likely far more.

So we're at least at 7.4 doses per 100 population.

Maybe not. We have done a decent job to date administering the supply we have available. We now have data that we "should" have 1.2 million doses by the end of Q1. We have the taoiseach saying we "should" have administered 1.1 million doses by the end of Q1. If supply matches the projections and unless these are heavily distributed into the last week of March I dont see why scaling up should be an issue. If it is that then becomes an entirely different conversation.

They also did a T-cell study, and if I'm reading the translated quote below correctly they found T-cell responses even in those where the antibody detection had faded.

I don't disagree. I'm just wary of people, especially politicians, making claims just to be positive. Donnelly has been doing the Tigger routine since January! Positivity is good but let's keep the future projections under control. Underpromise and overdeliver is the motto for this!
