There are two notes on the dashboard, the first is on the two day lag, the second is on under reporting.

I read that is the numbers on the dash board are those reported two days ago. The actual number delivered two days ago will be slightly higher as some wont have been reported Monday

Yeah, it’s a big number - I suspect the cohort 3 is just a delay in all the GPs submitting details back to HSE.

Cohort 2 must be nearly done with 1st doses - 99,386 now?

It's 8K vaccines on Monday, with 66 of them recorded as being in cohort 3.

I'd say that very few GPs started vaccinating Monday. Pfizer lasts for 5 days at fridge temp. Anecdotally most of them were scheduling appointments for a little later in the week to give themselves room to manouevre.

There's probably more inherent lag with GPs reporting their numbers than with vaccination teams and Hospitals reporting their numbers.

They'll have done more than 66 but not that many more.

Mr Reid said it will include "13,500 people who are aged 85 plus, who will be vaccinated in their GP practice or in vaccination centres".

"We will also be doing over 40,000 staff and residents in long-term care facilities, who will be getting their second dose, and thirdly, 25,000 vaccinations of frontline healthcare workers with the AstraZeneca vaccine."

Yeah and as cohort 3 is done by GPS, the discrepancy may change from being modest to significant.

True - 8000 on Monday is still a good number, hopefully it continues throughout the week.

It’s good to see cohort 3 on the Covid hub now too, shows progress in moving through the population.

Yeah, while the government usually are a shambles I don’t think there is any contradiction here, Varakar just said no guarantees which is fairly obvious.

Looks like a data **** up. As someone in the comments said, we've stuck 5.7 does per 100 people into arms so the number on that chart couldn't be less than that.

Appearently HSE have / are resubmitting data to ECDC.

The data the ECDC have had for Ireland in recent reports has been fairly off

Malta are supposed to be one of the front runners in terms of vaccine roll out yet according to that they haven't received any vaccines yet!

Paul Reid just mentioned they had a figure of approximately 4,000 GP jabs given up to last night. Numbers aren't firm but still a very poor return.
