I get all the 3pm games at home, don't care if it's Sky, BT, Amazon or even Netflix.
Watching the games on American TV is usually a lot better, especially the 3pm Saturday games. It's usually got better hosts and commentator's and you get all the other goals at half time.

I'm no Chelsea fan but always liked Lampard. I actually thought (and still do) he's too smart to jump into that particular cauldron at this point of his career. It may depend how much the Russian intends to invest and if they can buy anyone.

Why wouldn't he. Chelsea are a bit like Madrid with their managers. Even if the managers win something they can get sacked.

Take the job and get a 10-15 million pay off in 6 to 12 months. Happy days!!

I would happily stake something on that with you, can't see it meself. They were awful last year and have a lot of deadwood, including woodward, to remove. Ole needs to turn it around massively and has not got experience at this level, his start of tenure bounce is gone and he needs to change something rapidly. They could be out of teh race by Christmas and a run of bad results could see Ole gone by the same time if they do not do some magic in the transfer window.

We were shocking under Mourinho and end of season. Simply won't be as poor as that again.

Here’s my prediction:

Ole is weak and is unlikely to finish the season. Mourinho’s implosion was always going to create a dead period of two seasons before you can actually move forward.

You are without doubt the most optimistic Utd fan posting in boards right now. A quick look at the Utd thread and there is a real sense of doom. Without major change, I can't see where your optimism comes from. You may very well be right.

I actually thought he went from Spurs to Chelsea but yeah you're right. He was let go "by mutual consent" following a home thumping by Liverpool. Was that the year we kept getting managers sacked?

I see Mane got a heroes welcome from the senegal squad to mark winning the champions league. Much like salah, the brazilians and the dutch lads.
Its almost like all players view the CL as a very big deal. Cant imagine any heroes welcomes for the likes of carling cup and fa cup wins that we were constantly told was important for Klopp to win as it would be a mark of progress.

I wouldn't fear Chelsea or Arsenal that much, especially with Hazard and Sarri gone. Those are the only 2 teams to leapfrog.

I wouldn't be certain either way to have a bet on it but the fact that there's now a clear gap between the top 6 and the rest means everyone's in the shake up for top 4 and I wouldn't bet on Arsenal or Chelsea definitely getting a spot.

Pretty entertaining and interesting watch in the light of recent years.

Hindsight is a great thing, but Henry is way off the mark with the owners.

Carragher is spot on about Klopp.

Frank de Boer was 4th favourite to take over.

Absolutely insane job Klopp has done since he came in. Henry says it there that Liverpool aren't a big club anymore and he was arguably right at the time. Look at us now, less than 4 years later - never could have envisaged so many world class players in a Liverpool team!

I think Leicester will be looking at the trouble at utd and Chelsea and think time to make top 6 a top 7 and with Arsenal needed alot of work too will be having a small wager they sneak top 4

Depends who you sign. The current squad is poor and will struggle to make Top 4. Cant pass it out from the back, too slow in midfield and not enough goals from the forwards.

There's no definitely about it.

United and Chelsea have the worst managers in the top 6.
Chelsea have lost their talisman.
United have quite a few players who go through the motions and a few stars who want out.
Woodward looks like he doesn't know what he's at in regards player recruitment (great at the sponsorship side though).

I think Arsenal will finish above both and Ole will be gone by Christmas.

A lot will depend on who Arsenal and United sign. I don't think there's much between them as it stands to be honest and big signings and de Gea staying would push United ahead for me unless Arsenal do good business.

Chelsea I have no idea

Arsenal, with a couple of additions could be quite the team and one to worry about next season.
Utd need a lot more I think, and I think they will make a good few signings this summer. But there will be a gelling period required for such an overhaul.
