I was hoping they'd pull some strokes and get the likes of a Roy Keane or something but no... Vincent Browne!

Found it mildly entertaining but think it was badly timed Also, font know how Ken kept saying Utd were lucky when the Liverpool goal was so lucky for Liverpool

Listen to most of the pods but what annoys me about the football pods is they spend the first twenty minutes with Ken giving his take on Klopp or mourinho or pep and then they have a journalist on to talk about said manager for the next twenty minutes. What's the point in that. Also they spend way too much time fixated on either Utd Liverpool city or Chelsea. No problem with them talking a good bit about these clubs or whatever but give us more niche subjects. We are paid subscribers so you would imagine we are fairly knowledgable already on these clubs and would have interest in lesser known thing like stories in foreign countries. Like things in Seria A, La Liga etc and even the smaller leagues once there's an interesting story there.

Even when the actual sport is discussed it always just circles back to a particular trait of the manager, such as Ken will always bring up the anecdote about Jose giving the speech about avoiding Ajax' midfield. It's just monotonous and repetitive. Im not a big rugby fan but I enjoy the six nations, and if you compare the coverage of both sports, its night and day. The tactical discussions and observations about the actual sporting moments of the six nations games is very informative and well explained, there's literally nothing like this on the football pods. Someone made the point recently on this thread that Ken is rarely challenged on the pod. The football pods these days are just Ken thinking out loud, complaining about different things he didn't like during the recent football matches, and pointing out the things managers said after the games. That just doesn't make for great content and hopefully they freshen it up a bit because its getting stale, fast.

They may or may not read this thread but I'd imagine an email with your feedback (and feedback from others) is more likely to hit home to them. I'd imagine you'd get a response at least.

It's the week of a Grand Slam decider in Twickenham, and we can be forgiven for getting excited. But we can also be forgiven for starting with Ken's thoughts on Man United's shameful exit from the Champions League at the hands of Sevilla last night. Once Ken's gotten his "I told you so" off his chest, it's down to business....
