The telegraphing of the trappings of success in the American Dream is a thing, not really found in Ireland. Having the high powered job and the house in the Hamptons and the older successful man with pretty/younger girlfriend/wife would be among the "trophies" to be broadcast and with little to no self consciousness or awareness to it.
