It doesn't give someone carte blanche to beat the shit[/url] out of a non-defending opponent. Dan got a pass because he was a much loved legend from Pride and Bisping was (at that point) mostly disliked. That's the only reason imo. If Dan had of said he got caught up moment, or that he threw the second shot on instinct, or even if he said he was just making sure. I'd have given him a pass too. But the fact is he said he knew he was out, and threw it on purposes. Intentions matter imo. I'm not saying he's the worst human ever, I'm just pointing out that he got away with stuff others wouldn't. Like the way he also gets a pass for steroids/TRT. He admits being on the sauce since from Pride all the way to his fight with Shogun. So he was "assisted" for Rampage, Silva, Bisping, Fedor etc. All his big UFCfights.

Mellor wrote: » He knew Bisping was out and decided to drop the H-Bomb anyway. Comparing that with rubbing it in is bizarre. You are saying that he should have been stripped for not defending, or booking a defense in 6 months. Nunes currently 5 months. Nothing officially booked yet. Cody 7 months to fight date, which is is probably going to pull out of. Aldo's fight will be 11 months after his last fight. Bisping 7 months, nothing booked. Cormier defended after an 18 month gap Stipe 8 months to his last defense. Maybe we give Cody a break, and Nunes if she books something soon. But by your logic, Aldo should have been stripped months ago along with Bisping and maybe DC. Stipe was cutting it fine depend on when he booked it. The fact is. 6 months is an entirely normal time between fights for the champ. 12 months is not uncommon

He knew the man was out cold and pile-drived an elbow on to him. It remains one of the scummiest things ever seen in the Octagon. Bisping said "Fck you" to Rockhold. There's a big difference between verbals and deliberately hurting an unconscious opponent.

I have no interest in seeing gsp fight, that division was a bottle neck for years when he was champion, never once was he in a exciting fight
