I'm too late to join the discussion and I know you've all moved on but this makes me feel like I'm part of something so bear with me, eh? I'm hoping they use that HD rumble for something special. Mortal Kombat or an update to that gornographic Punisher game - why mindlessly pummel or blast your enemy when you can precisely feel exactly which of their vertebrae you're about to fracture? I know I'm in the Minority but I looked at Arms and thought "That could be like the Splatoon of punching!". Speaking of Splatoon, if you have to pay for Online and it's an Online-Only shooter (Don't fool yourself, 1P mode was an extended tutorial with a glorious boss finale), why do you have to pay full price for the game? If there's no proper local vs or couch co-op this time it can go and ****e. The online subscription offering looks pants, but you already know that. The translator voice-over on the initial Switch presentation sounded exactly like the guy from "Plumbus : How do they do it?" on Rick and Morty. It might explain the lack of stock, they probably had to repurpose a bunch of the schleem so they're short of dinglebops. Very upset at how the Joy Con is just the Wiimote reborn as an even more expensive novelty, now even smaller and more chewable. I found teeth marks in my Wii U gamepad charging cable. It's a real concern. 1.2 Switch is not going to sell at retail. Unless it's bundled with JoyCons. It might be time to pre-order it now and cancel if it's not. And now I'm purged. Not cancelling my pre-order, but I can't help but feel weird about not having a game on pre-order, and having the WiiU Zelda BotW comign from Amazon. Maybe I really am afraid of commitment after all?

"his best guess" is different to the best guess of other stores. it's actually one of four best guesses now. the staff seem consistent in each store that the deposit has to be €50 so I'd go down that route just to be sure.

The online system forced me to pay 50 quid for the switch and an additional 5 euro for the game. Oddly the original 5 euro deposit wasn't included on the total bill but the money has been taken from my bank account. Anyone else have this issue?

Like the PS VR launched in October, sold out and there's still no sign of them back. It could be the case where my pre order isn't fulfilled and I don't get a switch till Christmas. Also, carry case is €19.99 on GameStop https://www.gamestop.ie/Nintendo%20Switch/Games/62085/nintendo-switch-carry-case-lcd-protection-sheet

They’ll take as many as they can get and then in the week before the launch will phone up people and tell them that they’re just outside of those who got in for the first batch but that they’ll be guaranteed a console in the second batch of deliveries, which could be a month later.

The order is there but the price hasn't been amended to the actual price of the Switch. So it's still saying I owe them 495. Can't get a reply from customer service on the matter, and, as I said in a previous post the shop I selected to have it delivered to can't amend the order as it seems to be on a different system to the instore preorder s. It seems people are having lots of different problems
