Here's an idea… prioritise women suffering from menopause instead of entertaining teenagers who need counseling not HRT

Edit: before you come for me, I'm not saying its not a real thing, but I do question the numbers

after trump guts the pharmaceutical industry here, there will be plenty of empty factories to produce HRT

win win really (apart from all the pharma employees who took out ridiculous mortgages like the money tree would continue forever)

    It is.

Did anyone catch when Jennifer became Minister? I don't think she's mentioned it.

My local pharmacist wouldn't do this for a repeat prescription that I've had with him for years (not HRT). He was open from 10am-5pm, Mon-Fri, stopped opening on Saturdays since Covid, it was a hassle every time I had to go and get the next batch.

Took the prescription across the street to another pharmacist who is part of one of those larger networks. Got the full six months, price was a third of what I had been paying at the first place, open evening and 7 days.

I reckon yer man is just milking the DPS and other public schemes 🤨

is this the minister for health, or minister for HRT ?

The Dail was dismissed in mid October when the election was called.

It started it's normal, electing committees, work last week after the formation talks were completed and the speaking time issue sorted out (well kinda sorted out).

They are now on holidays for another few weeks.

No wonder it takes an age to get anything done.

Joe's Thesaurus word of the day, "disabuse".

    https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/american_english/disabuse

to tell someone that what they think is true is, in fact, not true

A colleagues sister is a pharmacist, and she states you can tell your pharmacy you don't have the money for the dispensing fee and 9 out of 10 times they'll wave it because the want your prescription, its worth more to them.

    Yay or nay ?

Ah women, they want free stuff, they vote for free stuff, they get free stuff, but it's never enough.

Men? Go to work and pay taxes, all their free stuff has to be made and paid for y'know.

As a rule, whatever the price is of something isin a free market, whenever a govt. says it's going to give it to all citizens free of charge, the makers of said product have now got a license to print money and it's now in their interest to both raise prices and restrict supply.

Joe: How many pharmacies are in the IPU, what percentage?

    Caller: All of them.

    Me: I doubt that.

Dispensing medication is a new service for pharmacy's to take on??

Apart from this guy talking about wanting more money because pharmacy's are losing money, while letting us know he has 3 pharmacy's…. whats he on about?

Those pesky women, none of whom go to work and pay taxes.

Surprised the lads in the local DIY shop don't charge an 'advice fee' if you ask them what sort of undercoat to use on a new pine door.

    Up next.

Mary's goldfish has started swimming the opposite direction around the fishbowl and Mary wonders could it be the menopause.
