Yeah it's a stupid word but I know what people mean at times - e.g. there was a case in California where a guy working for San Diego Gas and Electric was photographed with his hand perceived to be in a white power gesture. It was roasting hot, his window was rolled down in heavy traffic, and his hand was resting outside the window. And there was a BLM demonstration taking place. From fidgeting or whatever, some guy (white of course) reckoned that this man (a brown Mexican American btw) was making a white power gesture, and he was fired.
That sh1t is spiteful and totally authoritarian, and any reasonable leftwing liberal would despise it (and plenty do).
We are still waiting for the list of pedophiles that Epstain and Ghislane Maxel hosted on their lovely island, but somehow everyone is arms in the air for 2 women at Andre Tate's house. Why isnt Great Thumber saying anything about that?

These 'look over there' tactics are utterly transparent.
Knowing what people mean at times isn't much good. That still leaves an awful lot of room for it to be the opaque, nebulous dog-whistle many right-wing figures are currently using it as.

Ghislaine Maxwell is spending the rest of her miserable life at the Federal Correctional facility in Tallahassee, Florida. Jeffrey Epstein took the easy way out, when he knew his fate was sealed. The Duke of York is persona non grata with his nation, having had a compensation deal accepted from his victim.
If you, or anyone else has evidence for other abusers that used Epstein's island to commit criminal acts on young women and girls, they should bring if forward. It wouldn't surprise me if more than a few of those suspects crossed over with a few well known names currently under legal pressure for other alleged financial and electoral offences.
But Andrew Tate has nothing got to do with any of that. It'd be like saying, 'go capture Putin for war crimes, before you go after Andrew Tate.' The argument of an imbecile.

I think we're on the cusp of getting at a sort of veiled standard, here. The kind of guys defending or whatabouting for Tate would still decry the likes of Epstein, Andrew, and Jimmy Savile (in the main). What it suggests to me is that in the mind of Tate fans, if you're a big macho guy with all this supposed testosterone and lots of money, that sort of gives you the 'right' to keep a harem of vulnerable women if you so please. You are a 'king'. If you're old and ugly plus physically weak like the aforementioned men, you don't get this 'right'. If this is correct, then it is not actually the targeting of vulnerable women that is objectively objectionable but not having obtained the supposed status to do it.
I thought "Great Thumber" was a genuine attempt at spelling Greta's name.

Andrew Tate is a polarising figure. He definitely is charismatic and his footage on social media has resonated with a large group of people rightly or wrongly. But he has been arrested for absolutely heinous crimes. As any person who is arrested he should be afforded the right of innocence until proven guilty. However, dismissing the alleged offences or arguing his arrest while other people have not faced similar arrests is far removed from really. Firstly he was arrested in a completely different continent to the likes of Epstein and maxwell. Are people saying that Romanian police are constrained in what they can do because of law enforcement actions the other side of the world. Furthermore also he has been for alleged involvement in human trafficking, forced slavery of young women, rape as well as numerous charges of money laundering and involvement in organised crime. I’ve never seen so many supporters of someone Aarrested for such serious crimes. At least wait until all the facts and evidence have been put forward before championing someone with scant facts.
