None shall ever rival the horrendous accent of Gel Mibson in Braveheart.

David Boreanaz's Irish accent from Buffy/Angel beats it.

Tom cruise in far and away is also up there

Jamie Dornans is particularly bad....but then again....tbh...he is a dreadful actor in anything I have seen him in (outside of The Fall which is excellent)..he can't seem to do any accent well bar his own

I don't get the love for The Fall. Thought I had missed something and rewatched it. Still don't get it.

The Americans will think it's an Irish accent and that's all that matters when the dollas start rolling in.

Have to say it's looks like my kind of movie/fillum, bearing in mind I've watched Nanny McPhee about 40 times.

Instead of making a skit and a laugh of the fillum, Joe shudda avoided putting on his Film Critics capeen.

Is Joe going on about old people being young so that they think they should keep him in RTE. How old is Joe btw.

As an aside, Jon Hamm is a sexy divil ;)

I remember being in America a few years ago around St Pattys Day.

The TV was on before we went out for the day and there was some gobsh1te on some daytime TV show telling the Yanks how to cook cornbeef and cabbage.

He had an accent akin to what we just heard here. Actually it was worse. Cringe worthy.

The host of the TV show asked him at the end how long he had been in America to which the gobsh1te replied "8 months".

I thought it was really well done, Gillian Anderson is brilliant in it. The first season is very strong.
Maybe it was also seeing something like that filmed in Belfast beside where I used to live as well.
It is no line if duty though!
