What sort of internet speed would you need to play without too many hiccups
Google say:
An Internet connection speed of 10 megabits per second (Mbps) or greater is the minimum recommended to use Stadia. A slower network speed can cause issues while you play games.
To play in up to 4K resolution, you'll need an active Stadia Pro subscription and a network speed of 35 Mbps or greater.

They don't mention latency but I have ~20ms usually (according to fast.com) and it works fine for me.
Did you order from the UK store or IE just out of curiosity.
I order from UK yesterday but seems like it will be another month before delivery. If the IE store gets it back it stock I will cancel and reorder from there. even buying a second controller for 20quid is a good deal
I ordered on Friday from the irish store and got it this afternoon.
Can't wait to get home to give it a test drive.

Mine arrived today. Played a bit of control, dirt5 and journey to the savage planet for about an hour earlier. On pure telecom roughly 55 download and 20 upload. Seems really solid and great visuals.

Yep. I had signed up for it before on my phone to try it out. Only a month left now. It didn’t work well on the phone a month ago but it seems pretty much spot on with the Ethernet cable plugged into the Chromecast ultra
Hmmm. I can't seem to figure it out. I bought the stadia on Friday and set up the account today and I only had the first month free option.
It's supposed to go on until next week I think but the Irish Google store was sold out almost straight away after the offer was announced. No idea if there is going to be a restock
It went OOS for a good while, and then came back in stock for a while two days ago (at about 1.30am).

Hi all, just got this in the post yesterday. Anyone know if the Stadia Controller works on Xbox gamepass (or more precisely, how to get it to work?) It's not recognising it when I plug it into usb. Thanks in advance!
It should just work if you plug it into a pc/laptop. Mine gets recognised straight away, no need for anything extra.
I imagine it won't work if you plug it into an Xbox console.

Nope. Not available for Stadia unfortunately. Giftcard/PayPal/debit-credit only.
Take this with a pinch of salt but according to Google Store livechat it should be restocked for IE "soon"
Also, if you're a student or have access to a student discount site you can also get 10% off bringing this to under €20, delivered!

I got hit for €21 by customs on 2 units (€17.50 VAT, €3.50 fee), for anyone thinking of Addresspalling these from the UK store. Still a decent deal all said.
I cancelled my UK order for one. €43 is still a great deal. But I have three of them already 😂.
But if I do like you and get two then they work out cheaper, around 32? 😂
