Its a 60 kwh battery, so from 12kwh to 60kwh is 48kwh so in theory just under 1 hour.
but, 1. you would never fast charge to 100%, the 80-100 takes as long as the 20-80.
Didn't see an answer to this. Hire purchase is available through AIB or Finance Ireland. Latest rates are 5.9% APR for AIB (was 4.9%) and 6.4% for Finance Ireland (was 5.9%).
If you select HP on the order page, Tesla will be in touch asking how much deposit you intend to use (can be any amount) and the term (eg 60 months)
PCP is by Finance Ireland only.
Got my trade in offer. Ridiculous even for Tesla. €40K car that is 6 months old and they will give me €23,700. 🤣
Now get some offers off other dealers to benchmark.
Advertise on DoneDeal.
people need to think like we did 20 years ago. Sell private. Always better than trading in.
what car? Non tesla = no bueno
Seriously, will you read the thread? Tesla don't do trade ins. If you have a car to get rid off, sell it yourself. Or get Tesla to do if for you if you are lazy / have no time / have loads of money / can't be bothered losing out thousands
Give over with the read the thread nonsense. Have a bit of civility. It's a discussion forum and everyone should be encouraged to engage in a positive manner.
Nowhere in the 105 pages has anyone mentioned the trade in price Tesla offers for a new MG ZS. It's new info, if you are not interested you are free to ignore it instead of barking at people.
I'm not "too lazy" to sell it myself, selling yourself doesn't suit everyone. I cant be a single day without a car. And I need the equity in the car to pay for the next car. So I need to hand over one and pick up the other at the same time in a safe and secure manner.
If I get a fair offer I'm willing to pay a premium for that service.
Tesla through their trade in service that is part of their purchase flow do not offer a fair price. I know they offload them to dealers to price but it's still the way they choose to run the trade in service they offer and it's rubbish.
I sold my car a few weeks ago to Autobuy on the Longmile road. Cash in the hand. Much better than Tesla quote but not as good as somewhere like Done Deal but I didn’t have to deal with ‘people’.
Would have liked €1k more and was sick. Couple of days later Tesla drop the Y by over €7k 😂😂. All is forgiven Autobuy.
Your a salesman’s dream!
Its fair enough you want the easy route but your paying for that easy route by a lower value for your car. So you can’t be annoyed with that.
I would say Tesla's trade in prices are all over the place at the moment, a knock on from the dealers they deal with. Will take a while for this to all settle down, which it will.
Not annoyed just think it's a laughable offer.
I'm fair, they have a business to run. They will have overheads so have to make a profit or there is no point doing it.
So I've no issue with everyone coming away happy from the deal. If they make 2-3 grand that's fine. That's a price I'm willing to pay to support local businesses.
But it's not just a lower value. It's €17,000 lower, that's just laughable.
Fair enough, my reply wasn't very civil and I came over a bit grumpy. My apologies.
That said, I have been following this thread from the start. And if you look at the last few pages alone there is a good 10 people making the same complaint that you just did about Tesla "trade in". And every single time it was explained to them (often by me) what the story is. Gets a bit tiring. If people had taken just 5 minutes reading the last few posts, they would have gotten the answer to their question.
Most dealers the same though.
When I was looking at the i4, Joe Duffy offered me €40km for my Model S. I traded it then for €57,600. So very similar.
Might be worth your while contacting MG dealers around the country. Bang off an email with pictures and given the waiting time for these ATM you might be surprised by the response!
You can rent a car pretty cheaply, it's only around 100 a week so if you could sell for a few thousand more it's worth doing. Would be a dirty ice though, EV rentals are mad money!
I have an excellent quote from autobuy but seems to be in Drogheda. Did they give you the amount on the email quote?
Yeah but they will try lowball you when you go in or go with the lowest quote on the email. They are based near the Red Cow.
Im looking to sell my 221 EV6.
Can I use my existing home charger? For the Tesla MY
Yes
Ordered yesterday 2 x MY RWD withe on white. This evening I got Estimated Delivery: February 23 - March 11. It doesn't say the year though :)
Given it’s pretty obvious that Tesla trade in doesn’t work, what are the best options like Autobuy/ZuCar etc. that will buy your car for cash as an alternative ? Anyone that buys EV’s in particular ?
With delivery dates getting closer anyone gone ahead and ordered hubs for the Gemini wheels? No real options on Amazon to my surprise
chickened out of just waiting to see if the AWD LR will arrive in time and ordered a RWD also
Vague Estimated delivery so far (after 2 mins!) : Feb - Mar 2023.
Hope the RWD doesnt arrive first !
Haven't started thinking about this yet but interested in seeing what the options are. At least with the Gemini hubs there will be no fear of kerbing them.
What is the approx lead in time for ordering the Model Y now. If I ordered at weekend would it be in by July or am I way off?
I would have thought there is a good chance of getting one a lot sooner, looks likely there will be a lot coming in the next number of months.
Anyway, the important thing is, if you want one, to get the order in as soon as possible. You can always claim back your non-refundable deposit if doesn't go ahead..☺️
The price may well go up, but deposit ties you in..
If you are serious every day delayed reduces your chances as since price drops there are likely to have been many orders placed. Having said that many people have hedged their bets and placed new orders and continued to preserve their old orders, so there is a likelihood that some cars will be rejected and become available. As regards realistic expectations I suggest you read back on this forum for the last few days and you will get a flavour of sentiments..although that will unlikely give you greater certainty.
If you want the standard range the chances are much better as many switched to LR when it came under the grant threshold. So there might be some spare standard range available.
"I suggest you read back "
Cancelled LR order yesterday, may come to regret the decision when time comes to change but for now I don't see the benefits of the extra outlay for me.
