All this business about U2 annoys me, personally I think they're shíte, but if people want to go and see them off you go, just leave us non-believers alone yiz useless pricks

U2 are a good group and have talent. They have released some classic albums and have contributed good songs. They have gained respect internationally and written for Roy Orbison and contributed a James Bond theme song (sung by Tina Turner). Not many Irish acts can claim to have done all that. U2 do not have to rely on the Irish media and are never on Tubridy, etc. plugging what they have. What they have, their success is REAL.

U2 are vastly superior to all todays boyband and so-called 'country' singers that are the worst Ireland has ever produced and who the media are putting on a pedestal. You won't see Lee Matthews or Nicky Byrne ever achieve what U2 have done.
