    Hello

    Been a while!!!
My mates car will not start, it does not crank. Done all the basics, fuses, jump start etc. Battery ok.
When trying to start it I noticed there was really low voltage coming down to the solenoid wire on the starter(less than one volt).
I turned the ignition on and applied 12 volts from the battery directly to the solenoid and low and behold it cranks just fine. So at least thats the starter and main earth/live wires ok. I didn't check for spark when it was cranking however.
Now the thing is because I had the ignition on and was cranking the engine it should have started but it didn't. I checked the fuel pump and couldn't hear anything. I then removed the plug on the pump and checked for power at the two heavy wires and I was getting really low voltage for a second(like the same coming down to the solenoid wire as discussed earlier). Turned ignition on and off a few times to send power down to the pump. Powers coming down just incredibly low.

Has anyone got any info on these or has anyone had a problem like it? Does anyone know maybe if there is a main relay or fuse I'm missing out on? If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it or even wiring diagrams and fuse/relay locations.

    Thanks in advance
