Free time app on iPhone

Im looking at upgrading to a HDR-1100s/500 Smart Freesat+ with Freetime & Wifi.
I'm wondering what are people experience with the free time app on your phone?
The Apple app store says I have to change my store location to the UK first to get it? Has anyone else had to do this?
In peoples experience is the free time app quite robust looks like a handy app to have
