Tabeo - kids tablet

Has anybody heard about the Tabeo tablet? I see it is for sale from Toys r us in the US but I cant see it on their uk site.
I have seen the WEEP tablet for sale but I have read bad reviews. We are hopefully moving to New Zealand after christmas so we need small christmas presents and something to keep the kids occupied on the journey. Can anybody recommend a good kids tablet?
