Summer Group Buy 2012..

BeautifulLoser

Since the Spring Group Buy was such a roaring success I thought it might be an idea to give a summer one a go..

I'm willing to do all the ground work on this one if people are interested.

I would propose a quick turn around on this one to get the ball rolling again.

A tentative schedule:

Friday 13/07/12 - Decide on where to buy from
Sunday 22/07/12 - Last orders
Monday 23/07/12 - Do the buying

So, are people interested? And if so, where do you recommend?

I'll start the ball rolling with the tried and tested:

Collection
I live in Dublin 12 and work from home most days so would be open for collection any time in my house(will pm address to anyone interested).

I have a shop in Ranelagh and could be a pick up point for others if that's handier for some - LUAS nearby. Let Beautifuloser and myself know and I'll collect for you when getting my own.

BeautifulLoser

Right, here's the updated spreadsheet. I'll hold off on ordering until I've heard back more about the shipping..

Is it okay if I change my order to the following?
1 x 1lb Black Cat Classic
1 x 0.5lb Flecha Roja
1 x 0.5lb Finca Malacara
1 x 0.5lb Java Nica
1 x 0.5lb House Blend

My order on the new xls isn't quite right - can you remove the 1lb of sugar glider and add in 0.5lb of Java Nica. (p.s. I think you added my Java Nica order to Slaphead07).

Apologies. This should be more like it..

BeautifulLoser

Sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone but I was hoping to have news before posting..news which I still don't have..

It would seem that our man on the inside is on holidays..

That leaves us with two choices:

1. Order now and incur the full shipping cost - I'd give them a call and hope that someone else can look after us
2. Wait a week or two in the hope that we can get a discount (which is by no means guaranteed)

What do you guys think?

adrian522

I don't mind waiting to be honest no rush really..

Easy on waiting what ever suits.

PPC

If this is delayed could I order a http://www.intelligentsiacoffee.com/product/merchandise/competition-cappuccino-cup please?
One of mine broke, and having an odd number of cups is not good for my ocd!

Edit:
I too will take the following if delayed passed the 31st.
http://www.intelligentsiacoffee.com/product/coffee/limu-union-ethiopia 1x .5lb
http://www.intelligentsiacoffee.com/product/coffee/doyo-ethiopia 1x .5lb

donnacha

some interesting ethiopians available next week - if we haven't ordered by the 31st I'll probably change my order once the prices go up for these: http://www.intelligentsiacoffee.com/product/coffee/limu-union-ethiopia
http://www.intelligentsiacoffee.com/product/coffee/doyo-ethiopia

Thanks - can I change my order to the following:
1 x 1lb Black Cat Classic
1 x 0.5lb Flecha Roja
1 x 0.5lb Finca Malacara
1 x 0.5lb Java Nica
1 x 0.5lb House Blend
1 x 0.5lb Limu Union
1 x 0.5lb Doyo

BeautifulLoser

Right, sorry for taking so long to get back to everyone but wanted to have something to report back on first..

After some technical trouble (it seems that my original unsolicited email begging for free stuff got marked as spam - can't imagine why

) I've finally managed to get in contact with Stephen from Intelligentsia and should hopefully know soon enough if he can help us out or not.

Unfortunately I've noticed that 3 of the coffees are no longer on the site:
Sugar Glider
Finca Malacara
Finca San Jose

So, could
Slaphead07

adrian522
Wigsy
raytaxi
doodee

have a look and see if anything else floats their boat?

Here's the latest spreadsheet

Sugar Glider seems to be off the menu now so 2 x 12oz Classic and 2 x 12oz Organic Espresso instead. Huge thanks again.

No worries, that's done now.

Is the order gone in on this, or still time? If there's still time, can you put me down for 1/2 pound of each of the following:

- Black Cat
- House Blend
- Doyo

If I'm too late, no worries.
