Guys, I accepted an offer on a Masters on www.pac.ie back in March. Now, I will likely have to cancel due to personal reasons in the next year - particularly financial - and I was wondering what is the best procedure as to how to go about it?

I already paid the deposit, and I'm aware I won't get that back.

The responsibility has probably already passed onto the college at this stage; you should contact them. You may be able to postpone your place 'til next year, if you think that you would be still interested.
