Amazing Transfer Possibility

a czech and polish international on trial with limerick from cska moscow

I find this amazing, I was like this :eek: when I saw it first, hope it's true

first of all I am surprised they agreed to go on trial, surely players of their pedigree should get a straight loan unless

a) their fitness is in doubt

or

b) they're not sure if they'll sign, i.e. they are trialling limerick

but what an amazing coup for limerick if this comes off and if it isn't some kind of joke/prank

jesus, i wonder what those lads will think of the irish first division...but what a team limerick would have if they signed, they already have possibly the best midfield partnership in the country in stephen bradley and joe gamble, throw these two lads in there and they should tear up that division, the rest of their squad ain't bad either

Just get them to Thomond Park until they sign their loan contracts, then let them know about Jackman Park.:D

moving to a new stadium soon enough, doubt they'll be around to see it though....but i'd say they're getting a decent monthly wedge to put up with the lower quality grounds/surfaces etc

Fixed your post.

Be a great coup for not just Limerick, but for the LOI in general. The more player like that, that the league as a whole can attract, the better it would be for the game in Ireland.

Ulysses Gaze

Kalouda is great in FM 2008. Never thought I'd see him play at Limerick though!

Rhys Essien

Bumped into these two earlier on up in Cork Airport. They were asking me how to get to Turners Cross.

Why would Limerick even bother?

Because if it works out for them they'll walk the division this year. They'll probably walk it without them anyway as its extremely weak.

Ah now.

shangri la

Do you seriously believe cska would consider loaning 2 internationals to a first division irish team?

Come on now, use that thing between your ears.

This picture is rife for a Troll Face.... But in all honesty I don't know whether it should be for Pat O Sullivan or the two players!!!

grenache

I know Pat O'Sullivan isn't short a few bob, but I wonder if JP has anything to do with this? He's already financing the club's move back to the Markets Field stadium.

celtictiger32

if all goes well fair play.

dreamers75

The cynic in me reckons these 2 in their last year of contract and CSKA just want rid. Both been on loan for last 2-3 years.

Extratime is running with the story at face value, it seems:

Best line from the article...."The players knew about Limerick before they came..."

dsmythy

Limerick getting a surprise late bump into the Premier Division or something?

Sappy404

I'd say they were told it's where Sam Allardyce started his managerial career and they jumped at the chance.

Kess73

Janczyk scored tonight against Sligo.

Welcome to Limerick City!

“Pat Scully (manager) has only seen them online but as far as we know, they’re both quality players.

What of it?

If watching football on TV and the internet disqualified people from having an opinion, this forum would have to close down.
