I am temporarily across the pond at university, and in Southern California I find it hard to get quality Arabian grown coffee beans (e.g., Yemen, Oman, Saudi Arabia). I had a cup made by a friend just back from Dubai that had brought the beans with him from neighboring Oman, grown in the mountains above Salala, and it was soooooooo grand to sip. Just wondering if anyone has tried coffee from that region of the world, what they thought about it, and if the availability will be better when I get back home to Ireland?

Don't know that I've drank much in the way of Arabian coffee to be honest, plenty in the way of African though. Most of us purchase from the UK and from a couple of select Irish distributors. I'll certainly keep my eye out now though.
