Are there grants for doing engineering straight after the leaving cert, going through the CAO etc, not a scholarship as I wont be achieving anything amazing in the Leaving Cert.

Also, are there grants for Europe/Switzerland and in particular German speaking areas?

what do you mean? A course in university in engineering?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

well yeah all university courses are eligible for grants

You can generally only get grants for public universities in the EU so I don't think Switzerland would be eligible

What are the requirements for grants? How can I get one? Can you get one if your earning over the limit, but your still very tight for cash?

and if your income is over the limit, then sadly no. even if you are broke they dont care.
