Hey JHMEG, that's pretty serious fuel economy, I imagine the Civic 1.3 IMA is fun to drive too?

    00 Corolla Hatch 1.4
Screen showing avg of about 35mpg, mosty mix of country roads and traffic!

It used to show just over 39mpg when I got it (When it was being driven more on dual carrigeways etc and being driven much more carefully!)

E60 M5 - trip computer currently says 16.4mpg. Mostly urban driving, with some longer motorway trips. I wouldn't exactly be minding the economy on the motorway trips either. I reset the computer during urban driving recently and it was only hitting 10mpg.

I knew it was bad overall, but I've taken some comfort from this thread, especially considering that I could be in a 1.8 rover and getting only marginally better figures!

My incredible Alfa 156 1.8 Twin Spark puts all you to shame.

I filled it up last night and my predicted range was............2,513km!

    Who needs a diesel?

    Beat that

    Ford Focus St 2.5

    6th Gear 100km/h - 120 km/h averaged 39 mpg on a 80km trip yesterday.

More spirited driving averages 25 - 30 mpg (tis way more fun though :D )

Its something when an M3 is compared to my rover in terms of MPG!

Ive checked in the owners manual, and the listed MPG for mine is 30 MPG.. its not far off that (about 28 MPG currently) so im happier than earlier on thread!

Majority of it is short trips. And I do have a heavy foot.
Actually just checked it again there and it has gone up to 19MPG. Mainly due to a few long trips in the last while.

Just my observations. Why do you ask? I think the official figure is somewhere around the 30(ish) mark.

Toyota corolla 1.4vvti, Combined 60/40 city/long distance driving.

30L of petrol got me 305 miles.

Dunno what that is in mpg but the car seems to be pretty easy on fuel.:)
