Thread closed after one day ?

Hi

I noticed that the rules state that the bring up old threads is a no no and that doing that will result in a thread being closed.

I posted in a thread that was less than a day old and then the thread was closed.

There was no reason given as to why the thread was closed.

Why was it ?
