I am thinking of a career change. I am 28 years old and considering going for an apprentiship in carpentry. I am worried about the pay as ive heard its poor and i dont wanna be struggling for the next 4 years. I have made the decision since coming back from travelling(so am stuck back living with the parents). If anyone could shed some light on the situation i would appreciate it.

A guy has just started working with us who had to leave his apprenticeship as no builders were willing to take him on. Not a good time to be getting into the building trade. :(
