I am thinking of a career change. I am 28 years old and considering going for an apprentiship in carpentry. I am worried about the pay as ive heard its poor and i dont wanna be struggling for the next 4 years. A guy has just started working with us who had to leave his apprenticeship as no builders were willing to take him on. Not a good time to be getting into the building trade.
