Just wondering about who here on boards has the most thanks received with regard to their total number of posts?

There is no facility to search for this as far as I know, so I thought it would be intriguing for people to nominate themselves (or others) for the title.

Now I know that somebody with 1 post that received 10 thanks would be well up there, so perhaps we could limit this search to members with more than 100 posts, to make it a bit more accurate and fair.

Just so everybody is on the same page, to calculate your thanks to posts ratio, go to your profile and divide your "total posts" figure into your "total thanks" figure, and include it in your post.

    (total thanks/total posts)

I'll get the ball rolling with a dismal...0.348 thanks per post

Probably MT Cranium, whose eponymous cranium is far from MT.

Though every day he does MT it of its daily charge of meteorological information in the weather forum to a medley of thanks.

He's a smart guy, and it's cool that he posts so much for other people. But I literally read every post on the Most Thanked page except MT Cranium's.

Why is it called "thanks" anyway? Shouldn't it be "like"?

Poster A: Man goes into a bar... blah blah blah...
    Poster B: hahahahahahahaha thanks!

Just want to be really petty for a second and point out that posts that didn't receive thanks also must be calculated.

So it's not the figure in the same line as the thanks that are used, it's the total posts below your user name in a thread that is used. Sorry for not being clear about that.:o

For my profile, it's 63 divided by 185, not 63 divided by 46
