    Im still kinda expecting to get that huge macho dark shodow un-shaven look all about my face even though im 34

    All I get is strong growth on my neck and a wee bit on my upper lip

    I'm a big lad that drives fast and treats homosexuals like their my sisters,Why aint I got that masculine darkness all over my face instead of just on my neck?

    I can only grow patches... I'm 27, will never have a beard. I have a fair old bush down below though and my arse has dreadlocks.

    Great thread.

    I haven't had a shave in a month (well just a trim here & there) just to see how the growth is after said time. Vigorous growth around the chin & upper lip area, not great on the neck & sides of the jaw but decent enough so far. Its not a black beard, more sort of blonde/brown type thing.:(

    Oh & an adult human female i made verbal communication with at a public drinking facility said it made me look 'rugged or something'. Honest. I think women like beards?

    Haven't been without some sort of beard since I was 17, I've been shaving pretty much since I went to secondary school. Five o'clock shadow is what I get when I put the razor down... some of you don't know how lucky you have it!

    I envy you lot who can't grow beard. I hate how quick my facial hair grows. Ideally I would shave every day but my skin can't handle it. Unless I have a reason to I won't shave. I've been reason free for a week now :D

    Been shaving since i was twelve. My beard is stunning. Clean shaven most of the time though, don't like the itch and its a tad ginger. Having said that I hate shaving, the density of my beard gives me awful shaving rash.

    Been shaving since I was 12, I had a fairly big beard there last week, but I trimmed it and tidied it up a bit for school on Thursday.:(

    A beard? In school? Surely you must be a teacher? when I was in school we weren't allowed any sort of facial hair. A guy in my class got suspended for having a 5 o'clock shadow :confused:

    I've often had a full bush of ginger hair on my face and not a word said to me about it, other than a bit slagging from a few of the funner male teachers.

    I keep mine short. I am kind of fair haired but when I leave my facial hair grow it is a mix of colours, black, blond and red, I swear to god. Does anybody else get this?
