OK folks this is the thread that may be used, like last year, for the weekly TV show build of promotions involved in the Draft game. It will also ultimately be used for the final write-up at the end to determine which roster is the winner.

The rules will be based largely on those used in last year's Evaluation thread as outlined then by Minto:
    - Posting is optional. You don't have to participate in the weekly shows.

    - You may outline your promotion, TV show name, your roster's champions etc.

    - You can post once per draft pick. This is essentially your weekly TV show building up to your PPV so you can post this up to 5 times. For this opening stage if you want to do a post outlining your roster and then do a post for week 1 of your show, that's alright. Try to make sure in future rounds however you make it one show per round so it stays easy for everyone to follow.

    - Your final write-up will be posted after round 15. It is your PPV event and the only thing which is a requirement in this thread.

Some of you have already been honing your skills with a House Show thread and some have experience writing shows via Bounty Hunter's BWE thread. If you want an idea of how things worked last time you might also like to check out the 2009 Evaluation thread.

You can commence your PPV build now. Good luck everyone and have fun.

PS thanks gimmick and BH for allowing another Draft thread on the board.

The dirt sheets have begun reporting on the impending Boards PW brand wars, first to get a mention are the ever interesting BWA.

    PW Torch wrote:
two years have past since the last Boards PW brand wars and few promotions have been left standing. The fall of many has coincided with the fall of the economy stateside but not the first global promotion, the BWA. Much of the personal have changed but the brand has gone from strenght to strenght and aquired some of the wrestling worlds biggest ever names alongside some of the best workers the industry has ever seen. Never before has a single roster hosted the likes of Hulk Hogan, Mitsuharu Misawa, The Big Show, Kenta Kobashi, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Nigel McGuinness, The Von erichs to name just some of the extradaninary talent on display each and ever week from different parts of the globe. BWA originals will remember the hype and real feeling of momentum that was associated with BWA: Awaking and now many of those BWA stars who were there that nigh like Aja & Awesome kong are looking forward as the build and anticipation begins for BWA: Re-Awakening.

I know im not telling you anything you dont already know but this promotion has been on fire recently and despite the re-birth of a number of major promotions including the former quasi rivals of the BWA (the FWA) this is a promotion that I expect big things from.

The Following is an extract from a recent BWA Monday night Raw...

Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi are both in the ring mid promo talking about why they came to the BWA. Misawa has the mic and speaks in surprisingly good English (although he throws in the odd bit of Japanese too), he talks about how there is one reason why they came to the BWA and that was....Aja Kong. He says that she is revered as a legend of female wrestling in Japan but never quite got the recognition in the West until she joined the BWA. Kobashi mentions (in good english) that they were in constant contact with Aja during this time and the words she spoke about the promotion in the build to BWA: Awakening really made themn sit up and take notice. He said they wanted to prove to the western audiences just how good they are and why they are the biggest names in eastern wrestling and that after hearing about the type of promotion the BWA was they new this was the place to do it. The said they intend to be part of a new and improved BWA starting at BWA: Re-Awakening when they will prove to all just how good they are.
    misawa.jpg200px-Kenta-Kobashi.jpg

just then they are interupted by the unmistakable bagpipes and music of Rowdy Roddy Piper....

    Current BWE Roster
    1. Hulk Hogan
    2. Mitsuharu Misawa
    3. Kenta Kobashi
    4. Nigel McGuinness
    5. Kerry Von Erich
    6. The Big Show
    7. Big John Studd
    8. King Kong Bundy
    9. Awesome Kong
    10. Aja Kong
    11. Rowdy Roddy Pipper
    12. Paul Orndorff
    13. Kevin Von Erich
    14. David Von Erich

more wrestlers are joining the BWA it has been anounced via the BWA website BWA.com where the chairman has promised a number of big names arrivals, we will keep you updated with any developments on this.

Striving to be at the forefront of the Boards PW Wars is HVW. The weekly flagship show 'Wired' brings innovative and exciting Sports Entertainment to the table. An announcement is expected in the near future regarding the vacant General Manager's post but the executives have promised an exciting and well known appointment. The exciting house show with DWO has certainly shown the pulling power of HVW with wrestling fans worldwide.

There are more names expected to be added to an already exciting roster in the next few weeks. So far the HVW brand boasts the following names:

    Brock Lesnar
    The Ultimate Warrior
    The British Invasion
    Bob Backlund
    Booker T
    Cody Rhodes
    Hardcore Holly
    Cowboy Bob Orton
    Don Muraco
    Pat Patterson
    Chyna

Brock Lesnar's decision to leave UFC and re-start his professional wrestling career is one that will win huge ratings and many new fans for Monday Night Wired. His defection sees him carry the UFC Undisputed belt with him. This bold move is sure to anger Dana White beyond belief. It has also reaped rewards for Lesnar who will be presented with the HVW Undisputed Title next Monday on Wired.

    brock-lesnar-gym.jpg

Lesnar is sure to have fierce competition and the chase for the HVW Undisputed title will be joined by an interesting tag team division in the build up to the wrestling calendar's most eagerly awaited event; Thunderstruck. Magnificent Muraco and Cowboy Bob Orton have held the tag team belts for quite some time but will face stern competition from the likes of The British Invasion.

    4903340

The locker room is blessed with Charisma, both young and old. Cody Rhodes is one of the most talented and promising wrestlers in the world and Pat Patterson, the first ever IC champion all those years ago is a character that rarely remains quiet (and behaved). Over the coming weeks fans will be glued to their seats as more and more names are thrown into the action.

As well as the tag and undisputed belts, a third belt will be competed for in the run up to and at Thunderstruck. The HVW Empirical Championship will operate as a stepping stone for superstars who are aiming to be in the main event in the long run.

Stay tuned to Boards TV for exclusive updates on everything HVW related.

    Interview with Edge.

So Edge why did you leave WWE for PDW?
Edge: I wanted to start fresh and make a legacy elsewhere. I think that I can lift this wrestling promotion and it's lazy stars off their asses and make something of myself in this company.

Tell us whats new about Edge?
I'm faster stronger and smarter than I was when I was in WWE, now I have a lot of unknown competition from all over the globe. Theres guys that are former world champs just like me and there are guys who have a lot of potential. The main difference is that Edge is here and he's hungry for PDW gold. I have left everything behind in WWE including my old theme song. It seemed clichéd from what I do now. I'm not the Edge you've seen before and my new theme reflects that. So tune in on Monday Nights.
Edges new theme can be heard here.

Thats all we have time for tonight folks, make sure you don't miss this huge night for pro wrestling across the globe.

Here we are..personally invited to the first live television event of WSWF.. in the permenant home of "WSWF WrestleWar"... Thats in The War Zone aka The Hammerstein Ballroom, in the Manhatten Center in NYC.. The loud ruckus crowd here is something i've only every incountered once in my life, and can only compare it to that first time i ever witnessed Nirvana live.
    403698245_2c74a218d3.jpg?v=0
GM Sobchak has decided to give wrestling fans an alternative to the high production values and low Wrestling standards of the competition.. And instead has focused on giving the rapid fanbase, the best wrestling in the world today, "thats right folks..We have no "sports entertainers" here in WSWF.. just W.R.E.S.T.L.E.R.S"
"Not only do we have the best matches you'll see anywhere, we also have something a little extra for our fans at our live taping on a Sunday Night.. Thats our ever rotating house band that will perform, live during the night.. Acts booked so far include.. Black Label Society, Shinedown and Alice In Chains.. "This we feel, really adds some extra spice to our show" says the GM "Because that mix of adrenline and noise from the Bands, coupled with The fast paced nature of our Wrestlers.. really brings out the best in our fans. Not only that, it gives us the loudest, most vocal fans in any promotion anywhere in the World"
    10.jpg

This upstart Promotion was started 2 years ago by its GM, A former Vietnam Veteran with little Wrestling knowledge, but a will and unparelled desire to succeed. Sobchak admits his love of Wrestling was rekindled after reading the autobiography of his hero.. The Cowboy and the Cross: The Bill Watts Story.. Some suggest he has taken his obsession with Watts too far.. With his extreme agressive outburts, and the constant carrying of a pistol.
    walter-sobchak.jpg

Also.. Some have made copycat comparisions between the original ECW and WSWF and some people in the IWC have had the audacity to call Walter Sobchak..
    "The Poor Mans Paul Heyman"
"The Least Admired Man in Pro Wrestling"
"Only... Slightly Better Than Rob Black"
    "The Extremely Crappy Writer"
    "The Unoriginatior of Violence"
    "The Unoriginatior of Hardcore"
    "The Stephanie McMahon of Extreme"
and "The Butcher of Logical Booking"

But even with all the negative buzz from the smarks, people still travel from far and wide to watch WSWF Live in person.."Both house shows and our live taping are constantly sold out.. " Ratings so far have been encouraging, not quite up there with the big boys, but both Management and network are happy with both the ratings, and the direction of the product..
    20080601197.jpg
GM Sobchak was scoured the Globe to find the most eklectic mix of talent in Professional Wrestling.. Forgoing the bigger names in Sports Entertainment, for guys with athletic prowess, and technical abitity. "I could have easily signed up some 300 pound, steroid addicted monster, but whats the point? If he doesnt have the ability to "work" with my guys, why bother"..
WSWF WrestleWar airs live Sunday Night at 9-8c on the B.S Network
And in Four weeks time, WSWF goes Live for its first Saturday Night PPV.. Mayhem Rising.. only on PPV

    ####BREAKING NEWS########
WSWF has just announced on their website WSWF.com that the company has been sold to Eric Bischoff. The news comes just days after stocks were put on the NASDAQ by WSWF and Bischoff is now the 51% majority shareholder along with his business partner Jason Hervey and their company Bischoff-Hervey Production.

    header.jpg

WSWF has had a meteoric rise over the last 2 years, and with Bischoff at the helm now, one has to wonder what the next step for these upstarts are..
    ericbischoff.jpg
    UPDATE...
WSWF is no longer WSWF, Bischoff has made his first change to the company by remaning the brand WCWF or World Championship Wrestling Federation.. More updates soon.

Last night in New York, Eric Bischoff held a press conference outlining the future of his company. The big news from the conference was that WCWF is leaving its Sunday night timeslot and moving to Monday nights at 8/9c. Bischoff is confident that the move will futher strenghten the promotion. "Monday Night has long been the epicentre of wrestling in the United States, were looking forward to both the challenge and relishing the competition, because competition creates controversy and of course controversy creates cash." " I came close to beating my competition in the past and i believe i have the ability to do it again" Questions were asked of former Owner/Booker Walter Sobchak, Bischoffs response was "He did well to get the company this far, i have all the respect in the world for that, but i can take this company 10 times further, with my drive, passion and experience i will make this the number 1 wrestling promotion in the world"

    08.jpg

"I believe i have some of the greatest wrestlers in professional wrestling today in my locker room, and i plan on making them all the biggest stars in wrestling. My ephasis will be on wrestling and not the silly storylines that ended my tenure in WCW, believe me when i say i've learned from my mistakes.. Our final question to Mr Bischoff was what can we expect from WCWF in the future? His response.. " Surprises....."

Here is my roster breakdown as of today:

    Babyfaces:
    1. Bret Hart
    2. Rey Mysterio
    3. Jessie Ventura
    4. The Crush Girls
    5. Billy Kidman

    Heels
    1. Bockwinkel & Bobby Heenan
    2. The Great Muta & Jim Cornette
    3. Konnan
    4. Adrian Adonis
    5. Great Sasuke

I will go into detail on the strength's and weaknesses of my roster next time although it's pretty clear that while I have some great wrestlers (as most rosters do) that is pretty well balacned in terms of faces and heels my comparative advantage would be that I have alot of great talkers (Heenan, Bockwinkel, Ventura & Cornette with Konnna and Hart being good in the right angle too.

    1st TV show.

The owner of SEECW (Sports Entertainment Extra Championship Wrestling) Jarrett comes has announced that their will be a tournament to decide who gets to wrestle Harley Race at the upcoming paperview (Paper view, you get it. Because it's written down). He pulls out a board and announces that he gets a bye to the final and that Benoit and Magnum T.A. will wrestler for the honour to face him. He also announces that in exchange for agreeing not to participate in the tournament the Fabulous Freebirds will be allowed to choose their challengers at the PPV

Skit. Magnum T.A. goes in for his pre match shower/ cut to adds/ his boxers have mysteriously dissapeared
    candy_heart_boxers__1233678293_4591.jpg

Matt Morgan loses in his match against Animal because he just couldn't reach the ropes despite being in range. Afterwards DDP comes out and points out that Morgan has all the physichal tools in the world needed to succeed but he's letting them rust. he offers to mentor him in the ways of YRG. Matt Morgan reluctantly agrees.

Skit: Hacksaw Jim Duggan is backstage on Sporcle trying to name the capitals of all 50 American States. He forgets Albany and runs out in a frenzy to appologize to all the New Yorkers in attendance

    http://www.sporcle.com/games/uscapitals.php

Backstage Gordy and Hayes are trying to decide which team to face at Entertainmentmania. Gordy points out that Henry and D-Lo aren't at the level of the Road Warriors but Hayes refuses to take the easy option because he "doesn't want to get his hands dirty". They ask Jeff for more time and he gives them a weak.

Magnum T.A. and Benoit have a very competative match until Goldust's music hits when Magnum is in control. Goldust says that he is strangely attracted to Magnum and pulls out his boxers and begins to sniff them. Magnum is so disgusted he throws away his championship trying to kill Goldust who runs away giving Benoit a count out victoy and the opportunity to face Jarret next week.

After a quick cutaway to Matt Morgan trying and failing at YRG, Harley Race comes out and says that the Benoit and Magnum match showed why he was still champ, because nobody in the company can wrestle a damn. He proceeds to give a wrestling tutorial replaying the Benoit and Magnum match pointing out each of Chris' mistakes. He then goes on to teach Chris specifically a few moves from the beginner stages including a lock up, open palm slap and a Harley Race crossface (which is just a cripple crossface renamed). Benoit comes out in a rage and lists of the awards he's won for his techinical wrestling and says that if Race insults his ability again he'll MURDER HIM

Fireworks and pyro go off as MNG comes live from Orlando, Florida.

The commentary team note there is much uncertainty over the future direction of the show with new stars reportedly signed over the past number of weeks. No one is quite sure who is in charge but we begin with some in-ring action.

Match # 1 El Hijo del Santo & Negro Casas (c) vs Lance Storm & William Regal (Tag Title match)

The popular high flying tag team champs retain their tag gold when El Hijo del Santo pins Storm with a cradle for the 1-2-3 after a great 15 minute match.

    03.jpg

The pair begin to walk up the aisle when Regal grabs the mic. He says he has a special announcement to make and reveals that the board of directors have named him the new GM of the show. In his first act as GM he is making a rematch for the tag titles right here, right now as the crowd boos.

The pair come back into the ring upset as Storm comes from behind with a chair and begins beating them down. Regal adds he forgot to mention it was now a No DQ match. Storm made the cover on Casas for the pin and we have new tag champs.

Winners and new tag team champions: William Regal and Lance Storm

    01.jpg

Backstage: Storm and Regal are shown congratulating themselves on winning the title belts.

At that point the Intercontinental Champion Tiger Mask appeared. Regal said he was pleased to see him and referred to him as Mr. Mask. Regal couldn't get any words of English out of him and Regal remarked he made Lance Storm sound positively charismatic. Storm said that was harsh. Regal told Tiger Mask he would be defending his title tonight against the man behind him. It turned out to be Finlay.

    17.jpg

Tiger Mask nodded and left the room while Regal told Finlay there was no need to thank him. The title shot was a gift for 'an old friend'. Finlay got in Regal's face and said he didn't like what happened out there earlier tonight. He said he knew what Regal was like and didn't trust him. Regal glared as Lance remained tight-lipped.

A video package played hyping John Cena's appearance later tonight. It got a loud but mixed reaction from the crowd.

Match # 2 Akira Hokuto vs Mayumi Ozaki (No 1 contender's match for Women's Title)

This was a very good 15 minute match which Victoria, the current women's champ, watching from ringside. She put over both ladies as great talents from Japan who represented a real threat to her title.

The crowd didn't react much at the start but by the end were well into the action and Hokuto won clean with her Dangerous Queen Bomb.

Winner and number 1 contender: Akira Hokuto

    200px-Hokutoscreen.jpg

Backstage: Negro Casas and El Hijo del Santo where shown arguing in Spanish over what happened earlier. Commentators wondered if there was trouble ahead.

A video package played hyping Tiger Mask and his legendary matches of the past.

Match # 3 Tiger Mask (c) vs Fit Finlay (IC Title Match)

This was a fantastic 25 minute, hard-hitting yet technically sound match with both men giving it their all.

Finish came with Finlay looking to go for his Celtic Cross only for Tiger Mask to counter with a sunset-flip for the 1-2-3.

Winner and still IC Champion: Tiger Mask

    01d.jpg

Regal was shown backstage now in his suit. He told Storm he was thrilled that Irish ponce had been beaten and said there was hope for that Mr. Mask yet. He said tonight was going swimmingly and told Storm to take the night off as he was going out to the ring to clarify the situation regarding John Cena and his WWE Title.

    06.jpg

Regal came out to address the WWE Title situation. He said first off that Casas and El Hijo del Santo would get a rematch next week since he was in such a good mood but if they tried to get revenge on him or Storm that would be revoked.

He asked John Cena to come out who appeared to a rapturous yet mixed reception.

    36.jpg

Regal said he had never liked or respected Cena but that was OK as he had all the power now. While Regal was a great ambassador for MNG, Cena was the only real disappointment. Regal said from now on Cena would treat him like royalty or else.

Cena said he didn't care what Regal thought of him but said judging from looking at him and Storm together, Regal was certainly a 'queen'. He said the Queen of England and William Regal have a lot in common. They're spoiled, they look like old ladies and they have no testicles. Cena said 'If you want some, come get some.'

Regal looked like he was about to lose it but regained his composure and said he had someone in mind to deal with Cena. A former protege of Regal's and a former best friend of John Cena...Samoa Joe.

    08.jpg

Joe brought up their history together and their friendship. He said Cena had done well for himself but told him that he was the 'Undefeated Submission Machine' (Russo doesn't exist here). Joe said soon, one way or another, he would take the title. Regal sneered as Cena stared on.

At that point the lights dimmed. Patriotic sounding music hit and out came the immortal legend himself...Lou Thesz.

    04.jpg

Thesz said he was looking at one guy calling himself a champion and another guy calling himself undefeated but Thesz said he was BOTH. He raised what looked like the NWA Heavyweight Title belt and declared he was there in MNG to be the official heavyweight champion.

The crowd cheered as Cena and Joe looked at each other in shock. Regal's face fell and the show went off the air wondering how Regal would attempt to resolve this situation.

The following is an introduction to the Premier Wrestling Federation

    PWF roster so far:
    1 - Shawn Michaels
    2 - Christian
    3 - Sheamus
4 - Takeshi Morishima and Kensuke Sasaki
5 - Roderick Strong and Austin Aries
    6 - Paul Heyman
    7 - Bam Bam Bigelow
    8 - Bruno Sammartino
    9 – Shane McMahon
10 – Matt Striker and Simon Diamond

    Ownership

PWF owner Paul Heyman has once again created a cutting edge product that caters to the 18-34 demographic. PWF TV airs for 1 hour every Thursday night, and has a well balanced mix of every type of wrestling the fans want to see. Heyman has insisted that the PWF will be run differently than the original ECW, and that his judgement will not be clouded by the opinions of wrestlers as it was in ECW. The PWF is Heymans brainchild, and his project, and he treats it as such. It was set up based on the needs of the 18-34 year old wrestling fan, and has delivered both fantastic wrestling and entertainment.

However, in recent weeks, rumours have surfaced online that a meeting is scheduled between Owner Paul Heyman, and Shane McMahon, who has not been seen since parting ways with his Father late last year. Could the fate of the PWF be at stake if there is truth to these rumours?

    Championships

The PWF takes great pride in its championships. They are not defended in throwaway matches. There are currently 2 Championships in the PWF – The PWF World Heavyweight Championship, held by Shawn Michaels, and the Television Championship, held by Bam Bam Bigelow. A Championship match is treated like a marquee match in the PWF, and deserves to be treated as such. Honour and Pride are needed to carry a PWF Championship, and the current set of Champions have both carried their Titles with such class.

    Pay-Per Views

Currently, the PWF has a 4 PPV-per year deal which distributes their PPV’s worldwide. Heyman was offered a monthly PPV deal, but opted not to accept, as he felt it diluted the concept of a PPV. The last PWF PPV was headlined by Shawn Michaels and Bruno Sammartino in Madison Square Garden, which broke the PWF PPV buy rate. Heyman has promised that the next offering will definitely equal, and perhaps surpass the high standards set up the MSG Showdown.

The following is a summary of the current Premier Wrestling Federations roster.

PWF World Heavyweight Champion Shawn Michaels – Shawn has been champion for 14 months now, having overcome all challengers to “his” title in the PWF. He is hot off the heels of a feud with the legendary Bruno Sammartino, who he managed to defeat twice. Michaels is adored by the fans of the PWF, and doesn’t seem ready to loose his title just yet.

PWF TV Champion Bam Bam Bigelow - Bigelow is known for his mean streak, but lately he has taken on an even meaner streak, if such a thing is possible, not only defeating his opponents, but destroying them in the process. This streak seems to imply that his reign as TV Champion is, after 9 months, still very much intact. Can anyone on the PWF Roster step up and bring down The Beast from the East?

Christian – Christian is going through a tough period in the PWF. He has been on a good run, results wise, but feels it is time to take the next step, and become a genuine main-eventer.

Sheamus – The Celtic Warrior has been on a run of dominance and destruction in the PWF. He embodies the fearless Irish pride, and fully believes no man or mountain God puts in his path can cease his run to the top of the PWF!

Takeshi Morishima – Morishima has not been seen since his new mentor, and English Teacher, Matt Striker told him he needed to take a break to be educated. Morishima turned his back on the fans when he joined with the devious Striker, what will happen when they return???

Kensuke Sasaki – The hard hitting Warrior from Japan is a much respected member of the PWF roster. He brought an incredible record with him to the PWF, and everyone takes notice when this vicious animal enters the squared circle

Roderick Strong – Nobody in PWF can deny Strong’s pure ability. His attitude and talent is that of a multi-year veteran. He carries himself like a well respected legend of the ring, and many fans seem to think he hasn’t earned this attitude just yet.

Austin Aries – Aries’ arrogant and brash personality has resulted in the fans of the PWF greeting him with thunderous boo’s every week. However, his popularity, or lack of, cannot take away from the natural skill and charisma this star has. He has the world at his feet, and the only thing stopping him from taking the next step is his cocky attitude.

Paul Heyman – The Premier Promoter himself, Heyman has had a much firmer hand in running PWF than he did running the old ECW. The inmates won’t run this asylum with the Evil Genius in charge!

Bruno Sammartino – Bruno is seen as a true great by the PWF faithful. He recently came up short twice against the World Champ, Shawn Michaels, and both times shook Shawn’s hand and raised it, to confirm who he believed the better man one. A hero, even in defeat, we’ll just have to wait and see what is in store next for The Living Legend.

Shane McMahon – Rumours of McMahon’s arrival have been surfacing online in the last few days. What will happen when “The Money” finally arrives in the PWF? We’ll just have to wait and see…

Matt Striker – See Takeshi Morishima.

Simon Diamond –An experienced veteran of the sport, has become a bit of a jobber but shur he has to make a living.

Tune in next week for the first edition of PWF TV to broadcast on boards.ie to find out ....

    - Who will be the next man to step on and challenge Shawn Michaels?

    - Will the rumours regarding Shane McMahon’s arrival turn out to be true? And if so, what does he have in store for the PWF?

    - Will Christian step up and make an impact?

    - What does The Celtic Warrior have in store?

All this, plus much more!!! Don't miss the boards.ie debut of the Premier Wrestling Federation - "Up The Premier!"

Welcome to BWA: Monday Night Raw
    Raw_logo_news.jpg

*We open with a recap of what happenned last week* including, how Rowdy Roddy Piper interupted Mitsuharu Misawa & Kenta Kobashi introducing themselves to the BWA fans because that had been scheduled to happen just like all of the new BWE arrivals live on Pipers pit. Piper got the last laugh last week though as he announced that their first BWA match would be next and it would be against the team of King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd. We also briefly see highlights of this massive main event, which is a surprise to many western viewers but not to fans of Puroresu wrestling as Misawa/Kobashi put on a masterclass of technical wrestling and get the win. Piper had come down to ringside and viewed this first hand

before the first match starts we are informed that up shortley after it will be this weeks installment of Pipers pit and that the Hotrod had promised that he would be unvailing the latest addition to the BWA roster on the show.

Opening match: David & Kevin Von Erich vs Muhammad Hussan/McGuinness

BWA tag team champion The Von Erichs take on an untested team tp kick things off tonight and the atmosphere is electric. Hassan is getting all round boos and already seems to be rubbing his partner and fan favourite McGuinness the wrong way as the match begins. David Von Erich and Mcguinness start the match off with some great back and forth action in which David deliverd a number of running high knee strikes in contrast to Nigels headbutt and hammerlocks. When Kevin Vonv Erich is tagged in McGuinness ignores Hassan's outstreched hand looking for the tag and enrages the self described Middle Eastern-American wrestler. Hassan abandones McGuinness and walks to the back amidst a chorus of boos from the fans. David and Kevin now use the number advantage to get the upper hand making a number of quick tags and employing tag moves to double team McGuinness at any given opportunity. Eventually David Von Erich Picked up the victory after locking in the Iron Claw.

Winners: The BWA tag team champion The Von Erichs
    rlmIdtf3LtK4sXz.jpg

    Backstage segment

Double Kong are seen talking in the lockeroom. Amazing references last weeks show and Aja's involvement with Misawa/Kobashi while enquiring if asking if Aja is alright cos she looks like she has something on her mind, shes not going to do anything crazy now is she? Aja just looks back and says no it wont be crazy before leaving the room

    *Commercial Break*
    Pipers Pit
    display_image.jpg

The Hotrod himself Rowdy Roddy Piper makes his way out to his signature bagpipe entrance music mic in hand and begins this weeks installment of Piper's pit which he says will be a double feature. Not only will he introduce the newest member of the BWA roster but he will also show he is the bigger man by allowing Mitsuharu Misawa & Kenta Kobashi who were originally scheduled to debut via Piper's pit last week to come on for the interview that never happened last time. Therefore he asks them to join him and after a few moments their music plays and he is joined by the two Japanese main eventers who are accompanied tonight by Aja Kong. Piper explained that he was annoyed that they had decided to pre-empt him last week and announce their arrival without him but that he would not bear a grudge if he could just get an explanation.

at this point Mtsuharu Misawa takes the microphone from him and looks like he is about to say something but instead himself and kenta Kobashi turn and heas down the ramp from the titantron area (where Pipers Pit is set up) and towards the ring. Completeely confussed Pipers starts shouting "where are you going?" at them to which Misawa replies "What we have to say is bigger than your pit". Piper is incensed and storms off backstage.

Misawa still on the mic but now in the ring informs the audience that they have big news for them about the newest member of the BWA roster. that they have been blessed with the great honour it is to see the arrival to the BWA of a great man (great men says Kobashi) and someone that even we who have all risen to the highest echilons of the wrestling world look up to. This man is on a different level than all else Western audience have ever seen. Canadians have Bret Hart, Americans and the BWA have their Hulkamaniacs, we have this man, I give you... Rikidōzan!
    rikidozan3.jpg

announced by the ring announcer as being accompanied to the ring by his long time tag partner and fellow new BWA roster member Toyonobori

Rikidouzan talks only in Japanese but this is translated to the audience by Aja Kong. He says that he is credited with bringing the sport of professional wrestling to Japan and came from a time when the Japanese needed a local hero to emulate and was he was lauded as a national hero. he was the man that stood up to the Americans and beat the big names like Lou Thez and now he was here along side the very best wrestlers to ever come out of his conuntry in the BWA. They are going to prove to the rest of the world via the global BWA promotion just how good they are. He says that in just a few short weeks at BWA: Re-Awakening not only will you see a new BWA being formed but you will get the chance to witness the first inprint made by the newest and greates faction ever in professional wrestling history.

A promo is shown to promote the upcoming super house show which is the result of a war of words throughout the past 2 years between rival promotions the BWA and FWE which garnerd a massive internet following. the BWA has also confirmed that BWA Champion Hulk Hogan will compete at the event.

Match 2: Paul Orndorff vs Big John Studd

These two put on a solid match but Orndorff finds it very hard to keep his attension solely on Studd with the big King Kong Bundy at ringside to support his tag team partner.Orndorff does however hit stud with a very impressive German suplex before going fo his finishing maneuvor the Spike Piledriver but at this point Bundy once more distracts him, given Studd the opportunity to power out of it and take control the aquisition of which was made as he locked n his signaure Revers Bearlock on Orndorff who looks like he may be able to break it until Studd uses the position he is in to hit a huge backbreaker on Orndorff and thus pick up the win.

    Winner: Big John Studd

    studd.jpg

    Backstage segement

Hulk Hogan is here and is being interviewed backstage. He says that although he wont even know who he is facing at BWA: Re-Awakening until next week he is really looking forward to it. He says that he missed out on BWE: AWakening two years ago at Wembly stadium but that he has been the biggest name in the BWA since shortly after and that despite all these new names joining the BWA week after week he will prove once more that he is the best in the business at the PPV.

Match 3: King Kong Bundy vs Kerry Von Erich

A surprisingly short match where Von Erich impresses. After spending the opening few minutes avoiding Bundys power attacks and using his speed to gain the upper hand he delivers a number of big tornado punches. This momentum looks to be squanderd though as John Studd makes his way down the ramp to repay his tag partner for helping him earlier. He doesent get to do so though as David & Kevin Von erich sprint down and prevent the interferance. Meanwhile in the ring Kerry has ended this match early as for the second time tonight the von Erichs legendary Iron Claw is locked in to give the family the win.

    Winner: Kerry Von Erich

*A video Package is shown entitled - The Big Show is coming to the BWA - it shows a young and fast Big Show who is determined to leave his mark on the BWA*

Bakstage Rikidozan, Mitsuharu Misawa, Kenta Kobashi, Toyonbori and Aja Kong call all be seen in one dressing room. Rikidozan says something in Japanese at which poing Kenta says, "yeah turn it on". Toyonbori staying silent walks over and turn on the nearby televisoin monitor as Misaw says if this Hogan really is the best in the west then lets see what he can do. The new asian arrivals to the BWA are all preparing to watch tonights main event.

before the next match Muhammad Hussan comes out and protests being put in another match tonight and says that even if he never tagged in earlier he has already been in a match and should not have to be subjected to the boos of the idot fans here tonight again (at which point they obviously boo more). Its just a pity for them that they have nothing to cheer about as I am going to win this match now and then their boos will no longer be an annoyance instead it will be the noise he will associate with him proving he is the best about no matter who he is against.... Hulk Hogans music hits

Main Event: Hulk Hogan vs Muhammad Hussan

The crowd is red hot as the Hulkster makes his way into that ring and he takes that support anduses it as he makes a quick start against Hussan hitting the middle eastern american with shome massive right hands. Hussan is able to counter an attempt by Hogan at a scoop slam into a snap suplex however and gains a foothold in the match. As hogan gets to his foot and while the referee is blindsided Hussan delivers a low blow to hogan and takes control of the bout. This gets a huge reaction from the crowd packed with Hulkamaniacs. after a vicious beatdown on the prone Hogan Hussan signals that it is time to finish it and locks in hus Camel clutch submission. Hogan looks like he cant take anymore but refuses to tap, eventually it seems he has passed out due to the pain as he stops fighting the submission move. The ref lifts his arm and drops it to see if he is still concusious... nothing, he does it a second time... nothing, he goes for 1 final time before calling for the bell when suddnely the arm and rest of Hulk Hogan springs into again as Hogan starts Hulking up, he fights off Hussan and then flings him into the ropes before hitting a massive big boot which he follows up with his trademark leg drop for the 3 count victory. The crowd goes wild.

    Winner: Hulk Hogam

As soon as the Harts 2.0 turn around and face Kronus and Saturn hit them with chairshots to the head, forcing the 2 canuks out of the ring, Kronus hits a sommersault senton over the top ropes taking out both men. He rolls Evans back into the ring as he and Hart fight on the outside. Saturn hits the German suplex and leg drop on Evans, With Teddy Hart taken out, Kronus sets a ladder up under the titles, and assends to the top, he takes a look around at the crowd and instead of taking the belts he hits a 450 splash on Jack Evans as the Crowd burst into chants of "HOLY ****! A video package plays showing the uncertainty of the title picture from last week's show. The theme song hits and the show begins.

The commentators begin by playing a dramatic clip from earlier tonight with El Hijo del Santo rolling around with Regal in the back as Casas drags him off. Regal got up and screamed that they'd both pay. The commentators wondered what he meant by that as El Hijo del Santo and Casas argued with each other in Spanish.
Fireworks and pyro go off as the show comes live from Seattle, Washington.

The show begins with the General Manager William Regal coming out with Lance Storm, both carrying their tag team titles. Regal says he warned El Hijo del Santo and Negro Casas last week that if they touched him or Storm their tag title rematch would be revoked. He said as a result of that Mexican jumping bean El Hijo del Santo laying his hands on him, their match would now not take place and he would deal with them later. The crowd booed.

    09.jpg

Regal turned his attention to the title picture. He said the Board of Directors had not informed him Lou Thesz was signed with Monday Night Grappling. He said normally he would love someone to come in and threaten to take the title from that miscreant John Cena, but that he already had someone in mind for that. He called out his protege and the undefeated submission machine - Samoa Joe.

    08.jpg

Joe said Thesz should stay out of his way. That he was carrying around a belt that only he cared about. Joe said Wrestlemania was only weeks away and that he would fuilfil his destiny by beating his former best friend John Cena and becoming the new WWE Champion. Thesz's patriotic music hit and out came the legend in a snazzy suit to a great ovation.

    06.jpg

Thesz was wearing his old NWA belt once again and said Joe and Regal needed to understand a few things. He said he had signed with the company so he would get a shot at unifying the heavyweight title. He said this was written into his contract and as such he was now a contender. Regal's face glared and he said Samoa Joe would face Cena and not Thesz. At that point Cena's music played and he came out to a loud but mixed reception.

    35.jpg

Cena said he didn't realise he was so popular. Everyone wanted a piece of him but that was fine as he would take on any challenger. Cena told Joe he was sorry their friendship had ended up this way but if he had to beat some sense into Joe then so be it. He told Thesz he respected him more than anyone in the history of the business but if he had to fight him to stay champion then he would do so.

Regal told Cena to keep quiet as he was the boss and he would sort out matters. Tonight said Regal, that Mexican jumping bean El Hijo del Santo would pay for putting his hands on him. He would go one on one...with Samoa Joe. As for his partner Negro Casas, he would also compete tonight...against John Cena. As for Thesz, Regal said tonight he would also be in action putting that belt of his on the line against a man that would sort out his problem for him. A great man. A champion...Lance Storm! Thesz smiled as Lance Storm looked stunned as we went to a commercial break.

Match # 1 Victoria (c) vs Mayumi Ozaki (non-title match)

The number one contender Akira Hokuto wached from ringside. The match was a good 15 minute encounter with Hokuto teasing involvement every so often.

The finish came with Ozaki attempting to use the chain she brought with her only for Victoria to cut her off and hit her with it instead, causing the DQ.

    Winner via DQ: Mayumi Ozaki

Afterwards Hokuto attempted to jump Victoria but she escaped up the aisle.

    05.jpg

Backstage: Storm asked Regal why he is being put in a match with Thesz who hasn't lost in years. Regal says it's simple. When Lance wins the title belt he can retire the title and that way there can be no unification match. Storm asked why he should retire the belt if he wins. Regal told Storm not to be difficult and that they were tag champs because of him. Storm didn't look best pleased. Finlay then walked in.

    7179579-sm.jpg

Finlay went face to face with Storm and said he was disappointed in him. He had known Lance for years and didn't think he was so weak. Regal told Finlay to keep his mouth shut. He said Finlay should be grateful because since he enjoyed watching Finlay come up short in the IC Title match so much last week against 'Mr Mask', he had booked the match again for tonight. Regal said he can't wait to see Finlay fail once more. Finlay said this time he would win and wished Storm luck against Thesz as he would need it.

Match # 2 Negro Casas vs John Cena (Non-title match)

Prior to the match El Hijo del Santo offered to come out with Casas but Casas refused the offer. In his broken English Casas blamed El Hijo del Santo for them no longer having a tag title rematch.

The match itself was little more than a squash. Casas began with some good offence before Cena got the win by hitting the Attitude Adjustment F.U. Casas threw a tantrum afterwards as the crowd booed.

    Winner: John Cena

    22.jpg

Backstage: El Hijo del Santo tried to apologise to Casas but he slapped him in the face and the pair began fighting in the hall before it was broken up. The commentators said it looked like the tag partnership was over.

A video package played portraying Samoa Joe as an undefeated monster.

Match # 3 El Hijo del Santo vs Samoa Joe

The commentators wondered what kind of condition El Hijo del Santo was in. This was a great 15-20 minute match with El Hijo del Santo getting in plenty of offence. The finish came however with Joe catching him on the top rope with the muscle buster for the clean pin. Afterwards Joe got on the mic and said anyone who faced him would become simply another victim.

    Winner: Samoa Joe

    09.jpg

Backstage: Cena met with Thesz and said he should be careful out there in his match with Storm. Thesz said he would as he didn't trust them. Cena said he would have his back out there if he needed it. Thesz said that wasn't necessary as he didn't feel he could trust Cena either. He walked off as Cena looked surprised.

Match # 4 Tiger Mask (c) vs Finlay (IC Title Match)

Like last week these two produced another terrific 20-25 minute match with both guys giving it everything.

Finish came with the referee taking a bump. Lance Storm ran down and attempted to hit Finlay with a super kick but nailed Tiger Mask instead. Finlay threw him out and hit the Celtic Cross as the referee came round and counted the pin.

Winner and new Intercontinental Champion: Finlay

    19.jpg

After the break: Regal was shown giving Lance Storm an earful. He said he can't believe that Irish toe-rag is now his Intercontinental Champion. Storm apologised. Regal said he can make up for it by beating Thesz tonight.

Finlay was shown elsewhere celebrating. Tiger Mask appeared and they shook hands.

Main Event: Lou Thesz vs Lance Storm w/ William Regal (NWA Title match)

This was a great 15 minute, technical match with Regal barking orders from ringside.

Finish came with Thesz countering Storm's rolling Boston Crab into his STF for the tap out victory.

Winner and still NWA Champion: Lou Thesz

    thesz.jpg

After the bell, Regal got in the ring and he and Storm began attacking Thesz. El Hijo del Santo ran down to get a piece of Regal but he and Storm were able to take him down too. Tiger Mask and Finlay then appeared and suddenly Regal and Storm were outnumbered. Samoa Joe however ran down and cleaned house on Tiger Mask, Finlay and El Hijo del Santo and Joe, Storm and Regal began to look dominant.

The crowd chanted loudly for Cena to come down and help out and sure enough his music hit -

    john_cena_feature.jpg

Cena began laying out Samoa Joe, Regal and Storm with punches. At that point someone came from out of the crowd and took down Cena with a Yakuza Kick. It was Masahiro Chono! The commentators put over how he was Lou Thesz's protege and wondered what the hell he was doing here.

    02.jpg

Samoa Joe and Chono had a staredown until Regal separated the pair and urged Joe to leave the ring. Thesz then gingerly got to his feet and looked on in shock at seeing the man he trained standing in the ring. Thesz asked Chono what he was doing here as the commentators wondered what Chono was going to do. Whose side was he on? Chono then himself stepped out of the ring and walked up the aisle.

Thesz looked on as Cena lay dazed on the mat and the show went off the air with the commentators wondering what this meant for the title picture heading towards Wrestlemania.

    ****cut to commercial****
back from break and 1st match is about to start between Demolition and the dream team
    Demolition Vs Dream Team
A really good tag match with plenty of enter changes and fast tags by dream team and demolition cutting the ring in half , Demolition power really begins to show and the finish came beefcake had Ax in a sleeper but Ax was able to fall back into his corner and tag Smash who was then able to beat down beefcake put him into the back breaker for Ax to come off with Elbow Smash tags back in Ax who takes the pin for the win
    Winners:image.php%3Fu%3D59609%26dateline%3D1221426822

Backstage we see Bill Watts and Gorilla Monsoon arguing about who the GM was when suddenly Mr.Anderson walks past them Bill Watts stops him and tells him tonight he is in a match against Justin Credible but Gorilla Monsoon says he already had plans for Ken and he is in a match against Kozlov, they both start to argue again but then they just stopped and both looked at Mr.Anderson at the same time at say 3 Way Dance extreme style

Winner and still CWA International Champion
    2662792605_7006f21d03.jpg%3Fv%3D0
Backstage we see Gorilla Monsoon talking on the phone saying that he was delighted that he can come to an agreement that your coming to CWA and look forward to seeing him next week and hangs up the phone and walks out of his office just then Bill watts walks in and presses the dedial button he seems suprised by the voice that answers.
    Mr.Anderson Vs Kozlov Vs Credible
Each wrestler brought a weapon of choice to the ring and it looks like Credible's choice of a kendo stick was a good one as he clears the ring as soon as bell goes he then gets a bit over confident and gets taken out by a Kozlov big booth , there was a lot of heavy chair shot a few broken Kendo sticks but finsih came when Anderson knocked Kozlov over the top rope with a chair shot Credible then tried to attack Anderson from behind but Anderson with chair still in hand saw him and give him a massive chair shot over his head and goes for the pin, Kozlov tried in vain to get back in the ring.

    Winner: Mr.Anderson0.jpg

This is the one everyone has been waiting on Triple H started the match against Volkoff and attacked with some high knees a lot of tags in this match and more then once all six men were in the ring but the ref does a good job of getting everyone back after a beat down Billy Gunn tagged in Triple H who got in a throw Volkoff over the ropes Ivan Koloff then ran in only to be met with a punch the Nikita Koloff ran in to be met with another punch Triple stood proudly in the middle of the ring, after about 15 more hellacious mins Ivan Koloff tagged in Nikita Koloff who took out Billy Gunn then Road Dogg and then finally Triple H he now stands in middle of ring alone the bell rings everyone looks confused until the announcment is made that they have gone past there 30 minute time limit
match ends in a no contest DX stare into the ring where Koloff has now been joined by the rest of rWo and you can here Triple H say next week Koloff next week.

    PWF Introduction - http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=64742718&postcount=11

    - Week One – Live from the Toyota Centre, in Houston, Texas.

Welcome everyone to Premier Wrestling Federation - “Up The Premier!”

The show opens with PWF World Champion Shawn Michaels coming to the ring. He says he has been the PWF Champion for 14 months now, and has seen challengers come and try and stop him, and nobody has come close to him. Shawn says that when he calls himself the Main Event, he backs it up every single time. Nobody puts on a show like The Heart Break Kid he says, and now it’s time f….

At this point Sheamus comes out and interrupts Shawn. Sheamus says that he is undefeated in PWF, and that nobody can stop him, not even a so-called icon like Shawn Michaels. Sheamus says that Michales has no idea what he is capable of. He says he doesn’t go out to do flips and all that rubbish Michaels does, he says he goes out to the ring to destroy whatever is put in his way to try and stop anyone foolish enough to think that they can try and slow down his inevitable rise to the top. Sheamus laughs menacingly, saying he has been through unbearably hard times in his native Ireland, and nothing can scare him anymore… Sheamus drops the microphone and begins to walk to the ring before PWF Owner Paul Heyman’s music hits.

Heyman says that he has learnt his lesson from the mistakes he made in the old ECW, where he let the wrestlers loose and free to do as they wanted. He told Sheamus not to move another inch. Heyman says he has been thinking hard about what he should do next for the PWF , and told Shawn and Sheamus to be patient, as there is a huge announcement coming later on tonight!! Sheamus smiles, and reluctantly retreats, staring a hole through Heyman before disappearing. Shawn waves to the fans to the sound of enormous “HBK” chants, as we go to commercial.

    *commercial break*

Backstage, we see Heyman entering his office. He goes to close the door, and stops, looking into his office and says “Well hello….. I’m glad you could make it” before closing the door.

It’s time for our first match of the evening

Match #1 – Roderick Strong vs Bruno Sammartino

Strong cuts off Sammartinos powerhouse offence early with a devastating chop-lock to Bruno’s left leg. Strong works over Bruno’s leg, taunting him and the fans, saying he is the Living Legend, not Bruno. After several minutes, Bruno makes a comeback and hits Strong with a vicious backbreaker. He then locks in the bearhug, and Strong is left with no option but to tap out to theungodly strength of the Italian Superman.

Winner via submission – Bruno Sammartino in 9:56

After the match, Takeshi Morishima returns with his new mentor, Matt Striker. Morishima and Striker stand on top of the entrance way, staring at Sammartino. Bruno waves them down to the ring, but Striker just grins and summons Morishima to retreat backstage with him.

We then go backstage, and see Paul Heymans office door opening, before Shane McMahon leaves, with a smile on his face. What on earth is Shane-O-Mac doing in the PWF????

    *commercial break*

Backstage, Christian is being interviewed. He is asked what his plans are for tonight. Christian says he hopes to make an impression by defeating the legendary Kensuke Sasaki, and hopes “certain people” will take notice.

Match #2: Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Local Talent

Quick squash match, with Bigelow looking incredibly athletic in the process. Bigelow hits this young wrestler with a huge powerbomb, and covers him, only to lift the youngsters shoulder. Bigelow wants to inflict more punishment before accepting victory. He acends the top rope and flys through the air with a gigantic moonsault before eventually showing the youngster some mercy and pinning him.

Winner via pinfall - Bam Bam Bigelow in 1:28

Backstage, we see an enraged Austin Aries outside Paul Heymans office, demanding he open the door. After several unanswered calls to open to the door, Aries gives up. “Fine, have it your way” says Aries, with a smile, as we go to commercial.

    *commercial break*

Match #3 - Christian vs. Kensuke Sasaki
Thrilling back-and-forth action between two fantastic athletes. Finish comes when Sasaki and Christian are trading chops with each other in the centre of the ring. Sasaki is known for his chopping ability, but this doesn’t scare Captian Charisma. Sasaki’s chops seem to be wearing down Christian, as he unleashes a fury of vicious chops on Christians chest. Just when it looks like the chops have finished Captain Charisma off, he catches Sasaki’s arm, and manages to turn it into The Unprettier for the 1-2-3

Winner via pinfall - Christian in 12:17

After the match, Christian gets on the mic. He says he has been overlooked for his entire career, and despite having more than enough talent and charisma, could never break through the glass ceiling. He says that is going to change, and it is going to change soon. Christian stares menacingly at the camera, and as he goes to leave the ring, he is attacked from behind by Austin Aries. Aries beats down Christian, and grabs the microphone. He tells the stunned audience to look closely at their hero, Christian. Aries says Christian bitches and cries about not getting to the top, and every idiot in the audience cries with him. Aries says he doesn’t need anyone, and is going to get to the top by himself! Aries stands over Christian before leaving the ring to a chorus of boo’s.

    *commercial break*

We return from our Commercial Break with PWF Owner Paul Heyman coming to the ring for his huge announcement he promised earlier in the night. He says that in ECW, there were several steps he was afraid to take in order to take ECW to the top. He said he was content with appealing to a few hundrad people in “bingo halls”. That has all changed with the PWF. He says his dream is to top The Super Bowl, to top The World Series, and to top Wrestlemania. He announces that Shane McMahon has invested huge money in the PWF, but he is not a share holder. In exchange for this investment, McMahon has become an active wrestler on the PWF roster, as per his wishes. He will have no say in the running of the PWF, he is under contract and will be treated the same as every member of the roster.

Heyman says that he has already begun investing McMahons money, and has signed a huge name who is set to debut next week!

“Now, to Address the Michaels-Sheamus situation from earlier”. Heyman says that one step he was afraid to take in ECW was the idea of the “Supershow”. That is all going to change in the PWF, he says. While the PWF has promoted Pay Per Views, it has never really promoted a supershow. In 3 weeks time, Heyman says he is going to promote the greatest supershow the wrestling industry has ever seen. In 3 weeks time, the battle between the Icon, Shawn Michaels and the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus, will take place, for the PWF World Heavyweight Championship. And it will take place……… in Sheamus’ home Country. In front of 100,000 people, in Dublin, Ireland, Croke Park will be the venue for this epic showdown!!! “It will be a Bloody Sunday” says Heyman, as this weeks show comes to an end.

Tune in next week to find out...

    - What will The PWF World Champ Shawn Michaels have to say about his next title defence

    - What will Sheamus think about his opportunity

    - Why did Striker and Morishima return to seemingly target Bruno

    - What will Shane McMahon's first actions in the PWF be

All this, plus much, much more, only on PWF TV, on boards.ie.

He starts by saying "my name is John Bradshaw Layfield and that now is the time for change and that with my brillant mind I can only make LWE better". He mentions that he is a former WHC champion and was a worthy champion unlike now with this out comes the current WHC champion The Rock to a huge chant from the crowds

    the%20rock.jpg

The Rock stands at the top of the ramp, microphone in hand ready to speak

"Finally the Rock has come back to New Orleans"

The Rocks looks at the crowd and then at the JBL in the ring and starts

"Let me introduce myself the jabroni beating, pie eating, trail blazing, eye brow raising, the best in the present, future and past, whc champion and people's champion The Rock"

The crowds are crazy now for The Rock and JBL is not happy

Finally the crowd winds down and JBL can speak

"You see Rock as i am the general manager i can run this show anyway i like and what i like is my title back"

With that out comes another former whc champion Sid Justice

    sid15_feature.jpg

He stands up the ramp across from the Rock and eyeing both the Rock and JBL he finally speaks "I want my title back"

Before JBL or The Rock could react Stephanie McMahon's music hits and out she makes her way to the ring past both Sid and The Rock.

    Stephanie+McMahon-wwe.jpg

She enters the ring and is greeted warmly by JBL who introduces her as his newest assistant

"May i introduce the newest member of LWE the lovely Stephanie McMahon"

She takes a microphone and begins by thanking JBL for hiring her. She says she can see JBL has a vision and he and her can make this company the number 1 worldwide she has the knowledge coming from a wrestling family and now she has divorced that deadbeat husband she is fully committed to the job. She says that tonight the whc championship should be on line and it should be The Rock V JBL with the winner facing Sid at the next PPV Frenzied Fury she even offers her services a referee tonight.

JBL agrees and offers the winner to Sid who just leaves.

The Rock looks around and then at JBL and Steph and smirks

"Well it is the big easy and it dont come much easier that you Steph. So tonight JBL you will go one on one with the great one and all i can say is just bring it"

The Rock turns to leave but then JBL informs him

"If you lose Rock you are cannot get a rematch along as i am champion and that will be a very very long time"

Show opens with the Freebirds coming to the stage in wrestling gear, two duffle bags and a microphone. They announce that like they promised they will be defending that tag team belts tonight but they didn't think that the two tag teams at SEECW were of any use. They claimed they had scouted far and wide to find the BIGGEST challenge they could find and from an Illinois Utopia that had lived in ignorance of Abraham Lincoln they found it. There entrance music hits

Out of the duffle bags Bobo (wearing a dog collar) and the Farmer jump out and start laying into the Freebirds who over sell to the extreme. Gordy makes his way to the ring apron while Hayes gets the heat, he teases losing until he makes the hot tag and Gordy kills them. After the match Farmer Pete and the Freebirds lay into Bobo until Mark Henry and D-Lo run in to help out Bobo and promptly get killed by Gordy and Hayes until the Road Warriors music hits and the Freebirds disappear. Farmer Pete can't move his legs quick enough to leave so the Warriors give him the Doomsday device

Backstage, Benoit sees Magnum T.A. reading the bible before his match with Matt Morgan and tells him it's such a great book he has two of them at home

Skit: After a bender Hacksaw Jim Duggan wakes up on the street in Chinatown but with no memory of what happened he thinks he's in China. Cue 5 minutes of Hacksaw trying to use sign language, riding a rickshaw, looking at Chinese prostitutes and tearing down a Communist flag. he finally sees some white people but it turns out to be a french cafe. He asks for some freedom fries when he's headbutted by a mystery waiter who throws coffee on him and then runs before anyone gets a look at his face. Hacksaw is still injured
    zidane_1.jpg

DDP and Matt Morgan go to JJ to wish him well in his number 1 contenders match tonight and offer him 20 bucks to plug YRG in his victory celebration. He tells them to feck off.

Magnum T.A. vs. Matt Morgan for U.S. title

Magnum T.A. and Matt Morgan are having a match with Morgan showing increased flexibility when Goldust (wearing Magnum's boxers over his tights) walks into the ring and attacks Morgan. DQ. Magnum is confused until Goldust grabs a microphone and says that he was compelled to save Magnum T.A.'s face from getting pounded on and destroyed. Magnum demands his boxers back but Goldust tells him that he should probably wash them as they're a little sticky. Magnum is furious and with both hands chokes Goldust. But Goldust outsmarts him and with his two free Hands cups Magnum's balls causing Magnum to release the grip and run away knowing he's been tactically outclassed. Goldust licks his hands

Harley Race comes out to teach the fans what true wrestling is because as he doesn't have to defend his title until Entertainment Mania they won't see any tonight. He asks for a volunteer from the crowd but they're too wise knowing that he'll stretch them so he takes SEECW's mascot, Wildcat Willie. He shows the flaws in JJ's game because he believes Benoit's a worse wrestler and needs all the help he can get in the number 1 contendership match so as to give Harley the easiest match possible. He thanks Wildcat Willie for his help before killing the audience's beloved mascot with a chair in front of them

Hayes and Gordy are backstage furios at D-Lo and Mizark for interrupting their beatdown when Hayes says he has a plan to ensure it never happens again

    Ad break

Mark henry is on his way to the cafeteria when he sees a banana on the ground. He picks it up and eats it when he spies another banana on the ground. Cut to the ring

    banana.jpg
    Benoit vs. JJ

Benoit wins a competetive match with a Harley Race crossface TM. As he's walking up the ramp Jarrett grabs the mic and says that as GM he's ordering an instant rematch. Benoit wins again with a Harley Race crossface when Jarrett grabs the mic once more and is about to demand a rematch when DDP's music hits. He points out that Benoit has earned his place and that JJ's going powermad trying to win the title. he fixed the draw and demanded a rematch but enough's enough, he's just not good enough. Enraged JJ attacks DDP and they have a brawl until security breaks it up.

Backstage. Mark Henry has followed the banana trail to the parking lot. He picks up the final banana and looks for another when a cage falls from the ceiling. Two masked men (one with great hair) lock the door and wheel it out.

    In the lockeroom

D-Lo Brown and Bobo are waiting for Mark henry so they can get crunked up and hit the town. D-Lo tells Bobo that he's never late and you betta recognize that something's up. He then climbs the closest thing to the second rope that there is in the locker room and shakes his head vigourously and puts his hands up. Show ends

Electric blue pyro sends shocks through the arena as Three Days Grace arrive live on stage to play the hit tune 'Break', the official theme song for Monday Night Wired.

Live at ringside our commentators welcome the viewers at home. Jim Ross indicates that tonight's inaugural HVW flagship show will set the precedent for an exciting future in pro wrestling. As if that amount of pyro wasn't enough, Chyna's music hits the arena and she arrives with her trademark bazooka.

    250px-Chyna.jpg

Chyna says that she is here to compete at as high a level as possible and given that she has no named opponent for a women's division as of yet, she has no option but to challenge a male superstar. She issues an open challenge. After a few moments of silence the man to enter the ring is none other than Hardcore Holly.

The match is underway and Chyna is giving the crowd some laughs, she even manages to bodypress the Alabama native. Holly plays rough and eventually gains the upper hand. He has a nearfall with a classic suplex. He finds his advantage quite amusing. However, setting Chyna up for the Alabama Slam he gets too complacent and ends up being defeated via a roll-up.

    Winner: Chyna

Holly doesn't take the victory too kindly and clotheslines Chyna, leaving her on the ground. He screams at the referee that it could not have possibly been a 3-count. Eventually, he leaves the arena, still frustrated.

    *Promo for Thunderstruck*

    34ifyv9.jpg

As JR recaps what happened before the break he is interrupted by the music of UFC Undisputed Champion Brock Lesnar.

    470_640946.jpg

He addresses the crowd, saying that he intends on carrying his sheer domination from the UFC and doubling it here in HVW.
I have already proven that I am the best fighter in the world today. Wreslting is something I accomplished years ago and I am still at the top of my game. Anyone who doubts me or stands in my way will feel the pain. I'm the most dominant fighter the world has ever seen and I dare anybody who thinks otherwise to come out here and say it, face to face.

There is silence in the ring, he taunts the crowd and says that they can expect very little competition at the top of HVW, if none at all. He is about to continue his bragging but he IS interrupted this time.

The crowd is stunned. The Mouth of the South enters the ring and snatches the microphone from Lesnar. He states that he knows he cannot compete with him but that is not why he is here.
You see Brock, you're right about a few things. You are the UFC Undisputed Champion and although I'm delighted to see Dana White lose out on huge cash and ratings, and brace yourself for this. As of tonight, Monday Night Wired is MY show! I have just been appointed Wired's General Manager and I am here to inform you that although I have massive admiration for your achievements, you WILL face competition here in HVW and you will NOT be just handed a title reign that easily. The UFC Undisputed Belt is NOT valid here in HVW. While the powers above me have agreed to crown you HVW Undisputed Champion, you WILL defend that belt at Thunderstruck! Your opponent will be decided... TONIGHT!

Brock, whether you choose to acknowledge it or not, we are blessed with a talented roster and tonight there will be action! Your opponent will be the winner of a Fatal Four Way that will consist of these men:

    Mr. Bob Backlund!
    Cody Rhodes
    Pat Patterson
    and...
    The Ultimate Warrior!

Lesnar smiles cockily at the names until the last one. He re-asserts himself quickly. Hart conclude his speech by saying that Lesnar will also be in action tonight, facing off against a man who is also eying a return to the top, Pedro Morales. Lesnar is left stunned as Hart drops the mic and exits the ring.

    *Ad-Break*

When we return from the commercials we are almost good to go in our second match. The British Invasion make their way to the ring, bearing Union Jacks. They stop the music and state how they are sick of this brute style of American wrestling. They say that the British have perfected everything, being in New Orleans, they take a stab at the Superbowl winners, asking rhetorically who ever heard of a game of football where the players pick the ball up? At that they are stopped by the entrance of the HVW Tag Team Champions, Muraco and Orton who enter to a large ovation. Here we have a singles match between Williams and Muraco.

Williams gains the upper hand after a bullying start from Magnificent Muraco. He wears the big man down and even has the figure four leg lock hooked in for a while. Muraco powers out with the crowd chanting U-S-A! He builds momentum and scores a few near pinfalls with a Samoan Drop and a Power Slam. On the outside, Orton has grabbed the Union Jack from Magnus and snapped the flagpole in two. Magnus flees and ends up in the ring where he is met by a clothesline courtesy of Muraco. Without hesitation he scrambles out but Muraco is caught off guard and falls victim to a German Suplex-cradle for the three-count

    Winner: Doug Williams

The British Invasion leave the arena, signaling that they want the tag team titles as we fade out.

Backstage the Ultimate Warrior is being interviewed by Josh Matthews. Warrior as usual isn’t making much sense but what is clear is that he is unhappy about the cockiness of Lesnar. He states that in but one moment, the greatest of men can fall from the highest peak, when no attention is paid. He stares angrily, lets out a scream and heads for the ring.

This qualifying match is to determine the number one contender for the HVW Undisputed Championship. Rhodes, Warrior, Bob Backlund and Pat Patterson square off to determine Lesnar’s opponent. The contest is a lengthy, drawn out one. Backlund hits the Book-End on Patterson for a close pinfall but ends up victim of the Cross-Rhodes. The pin is broken by Warrior via a Gorilla Press Slam. The crowd can feel it, the ropes are shaken by the Warrior. He connects with a number of clotheslines and then catches a sly Patterson in a Body Press Slam, reversing Patterson’s attempt to stop him in his tracks. Nothing can stop the warrior at this stage. He hits the Gorilla Press Slam for the victory and seals his place at Thunderstruck.

    Winner: The Ultimate Warrior

    *Ad Break*

Backstage, Pedro Morales is psyching himself up for his up and coming match against the champion, Brock Lesnar. A sore Mr. Backlund makes his way past him. Morales tries to initiate conversation with his old friend but Backlund is too aggrieved to even notice.

We cut to GM Jimmy Hart’s office. Hardcore Holly sits on a chair and Hart tells him that financially, Holly is a liability. Losing to females can do no good for him. Holly asks him for a chance to prove himself and Hart accepts. He says that Holly will be in a match next week. If he wins then he keeps his job.

    Main Event:

The crowd are really behind Morales as he returns to the ring. Lesnar of course has been brawling in UFC very successfully. After a slow start, Morales begins to find his bearings in the ring. However, a backbreaker is followed by a Carribean Cannonball that doesn’t connect. The high risk move takes a lot out of Morales. Lesnar dominates the next few minutes and really should have it wrapped up but Morales won’t stay down for the count. Lesnar sets him up for the F-5 but Morales lands on his feet, sweeps the champion and locks in the Boston Crab. Lesnar can’t reach the ropes just yet. Suddenly, out of nowhere appears Bob Backlund from the crowd. He distracts the referee just as Lesnar is tapping out. Morales approaches him looking bemused, his supposed friend has cost him a priceless victory. Backlund smiles cheekily, he knows what’s next but Morales doesn’t see It coming. Lesnar turns him around and plants the F-5 for the victory.

    lesnar.jpg

    Winner: Brock Lesnar

As Lesnar makes his way up the ramp, Backlund enters the ring and locks in the Crossface Chicken Wing for good measure. He eventually stops and the camera zooms to his remorseless face as the show draws to a close.

Team Flah are disapointed to make the following announcement.

"We have been liaising with the biggest wrestling promotions around the world in order to form alliances whereby our new roster could be showcased on the shows of some existing companies. We were delighted to make a deal with Irish Whip Wrestling to air a weekly TV show on RTE televisoon featuring superstars such as Dusty Rhodes interacting with the IWW roster. However, true to form IWW have now informed us that they in fact do not have a wrestling ring, leaving us in a bit of a pickle.

However all is not lost. Despite the lack of a wrestling ring, RTE have offered something of a compromise. The Team Flah roster has been offered the chance to star in a new RTE funded and produced weekly soap opera set in rural Cavan called "Ballynagusset." Similar to the 90's sensation "Glenroe" it will offer cuting edge storylines and conflict set against the backdrop of your typical small minded Irish village full of ignorant Culchies. The wrestlers will play characters remarkably similar to their real life personas."

Casting has already begun and the following information is to hand.

Ted Dibiase will play the part of Frederick Paisley-Roundbottom, wealthy Protestant landowner who owns most of the land surrounding the village and who has been treating the local villagers like dirt for years. He charges exorbitant rent to all and sundry for the use of his land and rumour has it he wears Union Jack underpants under his 2,000 euro suits.

    ted-dibiase.jpg

His son Ted Jr will play Fred Jr his spoiled imbecile son who has never done a days work in his life. He never leaves the house unless dressed from head to foot in Abercrombie and speaks with a Southside Dublin accent, despite being born in Cavan. Simply put he’s nothing but a ballbag of a young fella.

    88764697lrg-21-ted-debut-talk-jpg.jpg

IRS will play the part of Ebeneezer Furlong, a lifelong friend of the Paisley-Roundbottoms. He works for the Inland Revenue and takes great delight in reporting even the slightest fiscal misdemeanour. He once tried to charge a woman tax on the breastmilk she was feeding her newborn baby from the tit. He is known around the village as the The Taxman and is your quintessential rat bastard.

    IRS.jpg

    Mick Foley
plays the part of Mike Foley. Mike has fallen on hard times. He once owned the local hardware shop, specializing in Foley’s cordless drills. However he lost his mind a few years back and has developed a split personality. Sometimes he thinks he’s back in the seventies and dances around the streets dressed in tie dye t-shirts, whereas other times his dark side emerges and he hides in dark corners playing with rats and wearing a bizarre leather facemask. He is now homeless and has been wearing the same stinking check shirt for as long as anyone can remember. People used to like him but at this stage he’s kind of an embarrassment.

    mick-foley.jpg

Stan Hansen has been handed the role of Dan Scargill. Dan the Man is the town drunk. In keeping with every Irish stereotype he drinks all day every day and has a penchant for starting fights with people for absolutely no reason, usually bayting the lugs clean off them for good measure.

    EA25dnIbOepyk0a.jpg

    Dusty Rhodes
plays the part of Dessie Diamond, the local DJ. Dessie is the most popular man in the town. He uses his show on the local radio station to give the people a chance to air their views and is widely known as a “fierce sound man.” If Dessie can’t get it done then it can’t be done. He always keeps a few new potatoes in his pockets to hand out to the local children. As the local aul wans put it best “shur, everyone loves Dessie.”

    Dusty-Rhodes-DVD-screen1.jpg

    Mike Awesome
plays the part of Redser Connors, a well-0known local traveler and constant troublemaker. If it’s not nailed down, Redser will steal it. With his leather jacket, ill-kept mullet and hooped earrings he is every bit your typical Irish pikey. He uses the word “boss” to finish every sentence he says. The only living creature he treats with any respect is his beloved piebald pony Bertie.
    17VFZ6QsaiwwUHG.jpg

    Masato Tanaka
plays the part of Willie Chang. Willie runs a local oriental restaurant specializing in Sushi. He is well liked by the locals for his hard working ethic and has become fondly known as Willie the Chinaman, despite being born in Japan. He has had a long running feud with Redser Connors since 2001. Their encounters invariably descend into violence and it wouldn’t be unknown for every table in the local pub to be smashed to bits after one of their legendary rows. No one can even remember what the row began over, but everyone agrees their fights are unreal to watch.

    Masato_Tanaka.jpg

Hayabusa plays the part of Willie Chang’s son, known about the place as Small Willie. He has been bullied mercilessly in school for years because of his over prominent front teeth so has taken to wearing a homemade mask fashioned from a chip bag over his face to hide his embarrassment. Some days he’s going top snap and it won’t be pretty.

    0dBPziCE11E3lmG.jpg

The Iron Sheik plays the role of Darius Villicius, a Lithuanian illegal immigrant who makes ends meet by selling flowers outside Betsie’s, the local disco hall. He is hated about the town because he’s foreign and doesn’t work.(Shur why else?). Worse still, his twin brother Danius Villicus (played by the original Sheik) has recently been seen about the town, confirming rumors that they both schnaked their way into Ireland on the same passport.
    sheik.gif

    Scott Steiner
plays the part of Seanie Carmody. Seanie is a bit of a local hero, having scored the winning point in the Cavan District League Under-14 final nearly 20 years ago. Forthright in his opinions, he doesn’t mince his words. He hates the influx of foreigners into the town as he blames them for the fact that his brother Rick had to emigrate back in ’93 as there wasn’t much happening in the panel beating business.
    Steiner2.gif

    Steve Williams
plays the part of the local GP. Dr Williams is the worst GP in Cavan. His cock-ups are legendary at this stage. Perhaps his finest moment came when an obviously pregnant woman came into the practice complaining of stomach cramps and Dr Williams told her “go home and take a big sh*te and you’ll be grand.”He has the highest patient mortality rate if any Dr in Ireland, earning him the nickname “Dr Death.”

    z40hwzqikj050ltvs0gt.jpg

    Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard
play the parts of Tom Anderson and Fiachra Tully. They are best friends and are known as the Horsemen as they're always in the bookies backing the horses.

And now… Live from the Rogers Centre in Toronto. HVW Wired!

    2my78g.jpg

*Re-cap of last week, scenes of a jubilant Warrior and a not so jubilant Morales are shown*

    arenawrestline.gif

The crowd excitingly roars the roof off of the Rogers Centre as a steel cage lowers down around the ring. The bell rings and the announcer informs the crowd of the opener to this evening’s event.
Ladies and Gentleman, the following contest is a steel-cage free-for-all. In this match, 6 superstars will compete and try to escape the cage. The first man to escape will be declared the first the first ever HVW Empirical Champion.

JR explains that this belt is the secondary title of the company that is an ideal stepping stone for superstars on to the main event. 6 superstars are locked into the cage. Bob Backlund, Cody Rhodes, Pat Patterson, Chyna, Booker T and Hardcore Holly.

It’s pandemonium in there. The door is chained shut so the only way out is via ascending up the cage. Hardcore Holly is in a trance, staring at Chyna, frightened but mesmerized. Patterson likes the look of the four other men who are psyched up for the bout. Rhodes and Booker T come closest to escaping in the early exchanges, being perhaps the most agile. Patterson is having great fun psyching out Backlund. It doesn’t help Backlund that Patterson’s chosen ring attire is no more than a pair of skid mark bearing briefs. Eventually Backlund gets around that and basically puts him asleep via a Crossface Chickenwing. Chyna and Holly are squaring up to each other, Holly seems reluctant to do anything. Chyna looks at him with disdain and knees him in the sparky plugs. She then clotheslines both Rhodes and Booker T simultaneously. She rushes for the top of the cage but is not quick enough, Backlund slams to her the ground powerfully. Rhodes and Booker T get to their feet but Rhodes plants the Cross-Rhodes on him and it’s now a straight race to the top between Backlund and Rhodes. The crowd’s attention is drawn away from their ascent momentarily as Pedro Morales comes rushing down to the ring. He jumps up on the exterior of the cage and knocks Backlund to the floor allowing Rhodes to comfortably climb over before him.

Winner and new HVW Empirical Champion: Cody Rhodes

    *Thunderstruck Promo*
    296hlp5.jpg

Backstage, Lesnar is standing by for interview. He is asked how he feels about facing the Warrior at Thunderstruck in just a few weeks time.
The Ultimate Warrior’s only claim to fame is redundant. So he beat Hogan at Wrestlemania all those years ago, big whoop. I’m the most dominant, feared and remorseless champion the combating world has ever seen and no amount of help from Zeus or Apollo or any other God will change that. Come Thunderstruck, all that’ll be left of Warrior is a mess of blood that will cover every spec of body paint that he spends all those hours applying.

    1115200932642P.jpg

Lesnar doesn’t appear to fear the wrath of the Warrior yet. JR comments that Lesnar’s always been arrogant and cocky and that he’d want to be careful. As they’re talking away, our second match of the evening is beginning.

Cowboy Bob Orton and Magnificent Don Muraco make their way to the ring having requested a rematch against The British Invasion. Jimmy Hart kindly obliged but informed them that their titles would be on the line. The British Invasion look up for this and are loving the abuse of this Toronto crowd. Before they enter the ring, Magnus grabs the mic.

    brits_682x400_864780a.jpg
To quote one Homer Simpson; Why should we leave America to visit America junior? It’s bad enough that we reside in the abyss that is the USA but now we sink even lower into a nation that has less relevance to anything than the appendix has to the body.
    Williams takes the mic now.
Hey, this is like all of their Christmases at once, they get to see the most talented tag team in the world be crowned new tag team champions.

Fed up with all of the talking, Muraco and Orton charge out of the ring for them. Eventually the official gets everyone back in the ring and the match can begin. The champions dominate the challengers and are quite clearly pissed at their defeat to them last week. Orton in particular is very aggressive. At one point he refuses to tag Muraco in as he wants to beat down Williams. This backfires however as Williams manages to reverse headlock into a classy suplex. He makes the tag to Magnus who now has the upper hand over Orton. He looks certain to tap to a sleeper hold but under the influence of this large crowd he breaks it and a power slam presents an opportunity for fresh legs. However, just as Orton gets to Muraco, Muraco screams at him; ARE YOU READY TO TAG ME NOW HUH BOBBY? HUH? Suddenly a fresh Doug Williams grabs him away and rolls him up, Muraco tries to tag Ortons hand as he’s being pulled away but doesn’t connect. Fatigued, Orton can’t kick out and Muraco can’t make the save.

Winners and new HVW Tag Team Champions: The British Invasion

The Brits wheel off up the ramp celebrating their new found gold, leaving Orton and Muraco in the ring looking gobsmacked. They can barely say two words to each other.

    *Ad-break*

Jimmy Hart is seen in his office talking to somebody on speaker phone, he’s unnecessarily using his megaphone to blast the ears off the unfortunate person on the other end.
SO YOU GUYS WILL BE HERE NEXT WEEK THEN? GOOD. YES I PROMISE YOU CAN HAVE THAT SHOT AT THE TAG GOLD, I’M A MAN OF MY WORRRRRRRRRRD!

    412165-08cff0620ca622aac9d7b00be38f277e.jpg

Hardcore Holly arrives into the office. “You wanted to see me?” he says. Hart informs him that he no longer sees a use for him in HVW. He tells him to go to the ring for his last chance at redemption. JR states his confusion. The camera follows Holly as he slowly makes his way to the arena. He walks past Chyna and stops for a second. He shakes his head at her and she stops to watch him make his way to his potential farewell.

Out in the ring he awaits his opponent. Yokozuna’s old theme music hits but it’s not him. What appears bemuses but clearly frightens Holly a lot. Dump Matsumotso and Bull Nakoto stroll to the ring as the announcer states that this will be a handicap match. He couldn’t beat one female superstar last week, what chance does he have against two???

    212923-holly0130_large.jpg

These larger than life women bully Holly for a while before he manages to fight his way back. Comically, he plants one of his esteemed dropkicks but it pushes Dump into the ropes and back into Holly. It’s looking hopeless for him and a victory appears out of the question but Chyna’s music hits the arena to the surprise of pretty much everybody. She points at Dump and Bull, Dump charges for her but Chyna runs around the ring as Dump tires pretty quickly. Holly takes advantage and DDT’s Bull. He holds her down long enough for the victory.

    Winner: Hardcore Holly

Chyna attacks Dump, eventually she and Bull flee the ring leaving Holly looking confused at Chyna’s action. She approaches him, he’s up against the turnbuckle. She reaches down, grabs him onto his feet and kisses him. It’s barely 3 seconds when she pulls away, bitch slaps him, grabs his hand and leads him to the back, forcefully.

*Promo for tonight’s main event, announced as Ultimate Warrior & Cody Rhodes v Brock Lesnar & Booker T*

Backstage Bob Backlund is in Jimmy Hart’s office, demanding the Morales be punished for costing him the Empirical Championship. Hart asks if Backlund’s memory is selective as he cost Morales a victory last week. Backlund claims that it’s not the same thing, that he’s an esteemed American wrestler. Hart asks Backlund if he’s got a problem with Morales’ background but he just leaves in a rage.

Tonight’s main event sees Lesnar and Booker T square off against the Ultimate Warrior and the new HVW Empirical Champion, Cody Rhodes. As Lesnar makes his way to the ring we are shown a clip of an interview done with Ultimate Warrior during the ad-break. As usual his speech is jargon ridden with nonsensical noise but he does make it clear that his body and facepaint represent the strength and defiance In his heart. At least we think that’s what he said.

Rhodes and Booker T kick things off. Lesnar is being very careful not to make eye contact with the No. 1 contender. Booker T is cockily over estimating the ability of young Rhodes and this backfires on him badly, almost costing him the match. The crowd is desperate for Warrior and Lesnar to be tagged in but Rhodes can’t escape from Lesnar’s grip yet. A spinebuster nearly breaks him in two but he manages to hang in there, kicking out at two. Rhodes is given an exit when he nails an enziguiri out of nowhere to tag in the Warrior but Booker T is now legal. Booker is completely psyched out and overwhelmed by how over he is with the crowd. Warrior ploughs through him, connecting with several clotheslines before scoring a near fall with a piledriver. He picks up the five-time WCW Champion and throws him towards the corner where Lesnar stands. Lesnar tags himself in by pushing Booker back towards Lesnar. Warrior catches him and sets him up for a body press slam. He then tosses him at Lesnar. Warrior then begins to shake the ropes strenuously. Lesnar makes his way to his feet but is floored again by a shoulder block. Warrior connects with the splash for the win.

Winners: Cody Rhodes and The Ultimate Warrior.

Warrior signals that the belt will be soon around his waist. Lesnar looks distraught. Has the HVW monster been tamed by the Warrior? It certainly looks that way right now.

    PWF Introduction - http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=64742718&postcount=11
    Week One Show - http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=64846833&postcount=20

    - Week Two – Live from The Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California

Welcome everyone to Premier Wrestling Federation - “Up The Premier!”

The show opens with a recap of last weeks blockbuster announcement by PWF owner Paul Heyman. A Graphic appears saying that tonight there will be a contract signing for the world title match, schedualed to take place in Dublin, Ireland at the “Bloody Sunday” PPV between PWF World Champion Shawn Michaels and Number 1 Contender Sheamus.

We return to the arena, as Austin Aries makes his way to the ring for the first match of the evening.

Match #1 – Austin Aries vs Simon Diamond

Aries dominates the match, with Diamond not getting much offense in. Aries looks sadistic in the beatdown, with a twisted smile on his face. Aries finally hits the 450 splash to end the match.

Winner via Pinfall – Austin Aries in 4:19

After the match, Aries grabs the microphone. He says he is sick of hearing Christian beg to get an opportunity to make it to the top. He says he is considered by many to be the King of the Indies, and has been proving that for the last 10 years, busting his ass every night, regardless of the amount of idiots that are booing him. He said if given the opportunity, he will silence Christian once and for all, and use him as the final stepping stone on his road to the top.

Backstage, we see Paul Heyman talking to Shane McMahon. Heyman says he hopes McMahon has been training, because his first match in the PWF will take place tonight, and it will be against Takeshi Morishima.

    *commercial break*

We go backstage to Matt Striker and Takeshi Morishima. Striker says he’s sure his legions of fans are curious as to where he and Morishima were for the last few months, and why they chose to return last week. Striker says that he sees a beast that nobody else can see in Morishima. He says for too long, Morishima has been worried about the fans cheering him, and buying his t-shirts, but after getting an education from Striker, Morishima no longer feels the need to hear cheers every week. Now, all he wants to hear is his name announced as the new PWF World Champion. Striker says part of his education process was to educate Morishima in the history of wrestling in America, and the focal point of this was Bruno Sammartino – a washed up looser who the fans can relate to. He says Morishima realises that he was going down that road too, until he was saved by Strikers genius and knowledge. Now that he has guidance, nothing can stop Morishima!

Match #2 – Shane McMahon vs Takeshi Morishima

McMahon uses his speed and agility early on to try and avoid the beast, Morishima. Striker is at ringside, constantly giving Morishima pointers and advice. Morishima tries to smother McMahon in the corner, but it looks as if Shane-O-Mac has taken his training seriously, and looks very athletic in the ring. Morishima goes for a lariat, but McMahon ducks out of the way. Morishima looks frustrated. Striker tells Morishima to remain calm, and he does. It seems as if Morishima has really become Strikers student. He collects himself, and just as he goes after McMahon again, he notices Bruno Sammartino on the entrance ramp. Bruno looks pissed. Bruno distracted Morishima for long enough so Shane could sneak up and hit Morishima a low blow while the ref was telling Bruno to leave. McMahon rolled up Morishima for the 1-2-3, and Striker is livid. Bruno points to his head, suggesting he is smarter than Striker and Morishima, before leaving.

Winner via pinfall – Shane McMahon in 12:07

After the match, McMahon grabs the mic. He says that his training is paying off, and the money he invested in the PWF was worth it, as he is now a superstar! He says he has set a goal to be the World Champion within One Year of being in the PWF, and nobody can stop him. The fans cheers are slowly becoming boo’s as McMahon gets more arrogant and cocky. He is interrupted by Bam Bam Bigelow. BBB says that McMahon is out of his mind thinking he can waltz into his ring and instantly become a star because he is a spoilt rich brat. Bigelow says that the fans might not like him, but at least they respect him. At least he has earned the right to be in the ring. Bigelow says it is a slap in his face that someone can buy their way into the PWF like McMahon did. Bigelow says if McMahon wants to be a star, he can try and become a star at his expense – in a no DQ match for the TV Championship at Bloody Sunday. McMahon immediately accepts, as Bigelow leaves with a huge smile on his face.

    *commercial break*

We’re back from commercial, as Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring. He says he promised the fans a huge announcement last week, and he is going to deliver. Heyman says he is bringing a new dimension to the PWF, as he did in ECW. He says he is going to introduce a whole new generation of fans to Lucha Libre. A video plays on the big screen giving a background to the tradition of Mexican Wrestling, playing up the fued between El Santo and Blue Demon as the focal point, pushing Santo as the hero and victor of the fued. Heyman says it is an honour to introduce the newest member of the PWF roster to the world, El Santo!! El Santo shakes Heymans hand and waves to the crowd, as a chorus of “SANTO”! chants ring out throughout the Staples Centre. Heyman says that Santo will make his in-ring debut next week in a Lucha Libre exhibition match.

Backstage, we see someone watching this announcement on a tv. As the fans bow to Santo, we see this person reach into his gear bag and pull out a blue mask, as we go to commercial.

    *commercial break*

It is now time for the PWF World Championship contract signing. Heyman is in the ring, as Sheamus makes his way down to the ring, followed by Michaels. Sheamus grabs the pen and immediately signs, throwing the contract at Michaels for him to sign it. Michaels seems taken back, but Sheamus grabs the mic before Michaels can sign the contract. Sheamus says he wants to warn Michaels about what he is signing. He says that Michaels will never experience anything like what happens him in Croke Park. He says Michaels has never had to leave his comfort zone like this before, and that he will not be able to prepare for the savaging he inflicts on him on the battle field of Croke Park. He says over the years, warriors have entered Croke Park – warriors like Michael Collins, Muhammad Ali, Padraig Pearse and Lar Corbett, and in two weeks, Sheamus will be added to the list of Warriors that have done battle there.

He says it will be proud moment for the great nation of Ireland when he raises the PWF title infront of his people. The Staples Centre didn’t like that. Sheamus tells Shawn to sign the contract in the knowledge that he won’t be facing a wrestler in two weeks at Bloody Sunday, he will be facing an undefeated warrior. Michaels looks nervous for the first time in a long time. Sheamus slowly walks towards the ropes, looking down at a dejected Michaels, when Michaels jumps out of his chair and hits Sheamus with Sweet Chin Music from out of nowhere!! Michaels signs the contract and throws it on top of an unconscious Sheamus as the show comes to an end.

    the_usual_suspects011024.jpg

Show opens with Jeff Jarrett coming out to the ring to no music or anything. He says that the past week has been a tumultuous one for SEECW with Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a coma from his attack and Mark Henry still missing presumed dead. He says that his pride was hurt last week by DDP but some things were more important and told the fans that there would be no wrestling on this show .The police have made no progress in either investigation so he has spared no expense and hired the world famous detective Hercules Poirot-san (played by Kenzo Suzuki)
    herculepoirot.jpg

Poirot-san is talking to D-Lo to ask him whether Henry had any enemies in the dressing room. He said that the freebirds had always hated the two of them but he couldn't think of someone else. As Poirot-san was leaving he remembered that when they were starting their careers Benoit had kicked Henry out of the dressing room for being disrespectful but that Chris had shown no ill will to them recently

A car pulls in a Chris Benoit is gets out. He's approached by the Road Warriors who ask him where he's been all week. Benoit explains that he was at a training camp for his title shot but when the Road Warriors push him for more details he says that he can't disclose the location because he's afraid Harley Race will steal his new techniques.

Poirot is interviewing Goldust about his whereabouts. He explains he spent all his time at home and has no alibi. Poirot asks him what he was doing. Goldust is sketchy but Poirot-san strong arms him for an answer. Goldust breaks down and admits he was photoshopping pictures of him and Magnum T.A. together and can prove it. He tosses him his wallet which opens to reveal a family portrait style photo of Goldust and Magnum. He's cleared to go.

Hacksaw's hospital bed: An American flag flies proudly as Bobo tries to wake hacksaw up by doing midget dancing and walking on his head. No good

The Freebirds arrive with two rats and tell Poirot that they've been with these two lovely ladies for the whole week and there's 10 other girls who can back up that alibi. Hayes claims that the Road Warriors are desperate for a title shot so they killed Henry to climb up the ladder but Poirot points out that they were caught on CCTV at a local biker bar. A montage of the roster giving their alibi's flies past with the only exclusion being Benoit. Harley Race gives a damning indictment of his personality to Poirot-san and Poirot-san informs Jeff that Benoit is his only remaining suspect.

Magnum corners Goldust and explains that he's wearing protection. He punches his crotch to show Goldust he's wearing a cup. He tells him that it's never ever going to happen that way because he doesn't swing that way and that he'll wear the cup for the rest of his life if he has to. As he's walking away Goldust pinches his ass and runs away. Magnum throws another fit.

The Road Warriors are talking to JJ trying to convince him that the Freebirds are to blame. They claim that Hayes has killed hundreds of black people already so what difference would one more make. Jeff accuses them of taking advantage of the situation to try and get a title shot but makes a deal with them. If they can prove the Freebirds killed Mark Henry then they get a title shot at Entertainmentmania

Benoit is being brought in by the police to be interviewed by Poirot
    Flag-Pins-France-USA.jpg

Duggan's hospital bed: The man who attacked him last week comes in to Duggan's room drinking a cup of coffee. He looks at Duggan's flag and goes on a diatribe about how the only reason Duggan thinks the US is the greatest country is because he never left. He pulls out a French mini flag and makes Duggan hold it proudly before lighting a ciggarette. He goes on again about the virtues of other countries and the failings of America. As he's just about finished his fag he tosses it at the American flag that adorns Duggan's bed and leaves. Hacksaw then wakes up immediately, being such a strong patriot that the only thing that could take him out of a coma are the ashes of American flags. He puts it out and demands revenge next week

Poirot-san and Benoit are in a dark room with only two chairs dimly lit by a lamp. Benoit explains that he can't tell him where he was but he'd never kill anybody. Poirot-san asked him if he had made contact with anybody over the past week and Benoit said that apart from a few texts to Chavo Guerrero he had maintained phone silence, Poirot-san brought up the incident a few months ago where Benoit kicked Mark Henry out of the dressing room for being disrespectful and that this was not the first time. He said that Benoit had a very bad temper pointing out that after falsley accusing Harley Race of stealing his move while he was trying to help him he threatened to murder him. Benoit, furious that anyone had believed that he stole the Cripple Crossface from Race got up to assault Poirot-san only to be restrained by 4 policeman who slapped on the cuffs while Benoit screamed he'd ratrher die than go to jail for murder
    benoit.jpg

As Benoit was dragged to jail for the murder of Mark Henry Poirot-san and Harley Race watch the paddywagon roll away. "About our fee Mr. Race"
"Paid in full to your cayman account Poirot-san"
"Good, enjoy your night off at Entertainmentmania".

The two laugh as the credits roll

We see the opening montage of every wrestler in the D.W.O with 1 of the official theme song's to Revolt, Skillet's "Awake and Alive", playing.

Pyro goes off and we are live for D.W.O's first ever TV programme.

We start off with our 1st match of the evening, an 8 way over-the-top-rope Battle Royal. The final 2 competitors will face off in the main-event for the D.W.O Unlimited title.

Match 1 - Dolph vs. Creed vs. Storm vs. Bourne vs. Lethal vs. Homicide vs. Tyson Kidd vs. R-Truth

All 8 men in the ring look at the title at ringside when the bell rings. The match starts out like a 4-on-4 tag match with Dolph, Storm, Kidd and Homicide going against Bourne, Lethal, Creed and Truth. Dolph quickly disposes of Creed and goes after Lethal. Storm is sitting on the top rope watching the action while trying not to distract anyone's attention. Dolph spots Storm and eliminates him off the top-rope. Storm lands hard on his shoulder. After 3 mins, R-Truth and Kidd are both eliminated after Dolph snuck up on both of them as Truth was trying to eliminate Kidd in the corner and tossed them both over the top-rope. Lethal tries for the "Lethal Combination on Dolph but it's reversed into a Zig-Zag. Dolph throws Lethal over the top rope. We are down to 3 while Dolph Ziggler has eliminated 5 men so far. Homicide hits "the Gringo Killer" on Bourne. As Homicide tries to lift Bourne over-the-top-rope to eliminate him, Dolph grabs Bourne's legs and pulls him off Homicide's shoulders and back into the ring. Dolph then shouts at Homicide that he wants to make a name for himself by eliminating every competitor in the match. Homicide hits Dolph with a shining wizard out of nowhere and tries to eliminate Dolph. This time, Bourne grab's Ziggler's legs and drags him back down to the ring. Clearly annoyed by this, Homicide tries for the 187 on Bourne but Bourne moves outta the way. Bourne hit's the "Enzuigiri" on Hernandez. Dolph sneaks up behind Bourne and hit's a Zig-Zag. Ziggler throws Bourne over-the-top-rope. Ziggler somehow managed to eliminate 6 men in the match.

The main event for tonight: Dolph Ziggler vs. Homicide for the D.W.O Unlimited championship

We come back to see Velvet Sky getting ready for her match with Lita. She tells Love to only come down to ringside when she gives the signal. Trish then walks in to a huge cheer. Trish wishes Sky good luck but tells her to "be careful out there, you'll never know what'll happen". Sky /Lita will happen later in the show.

Interview with Eddie Guerrero. In it, Eddie cracks a couple of jokes about how he gave Backlund a "cross-face chicken-wing" of sorts when "Collision" took place (see the house show thread). Eddie becomes serious when asked about the D.W.O Championship. He says the D.W.O Title is the reason why he signed up to be in the D.W.O. The interview ends when Gory Guerrero enters and introduces L.A.X to Eddie. They begins to chat en espanol

    Plug for D.W.O Annihilation

We are back LIVE to "The Q". It's announced that at Annihilation, the D.W.O Tag Team titles will be on the line in a 4 team battle for the titles.

Match 2: Beer Money Inc vs. Lethal Consequences

Standard tag match with both sides getting in a lot of offence especially Lethal Consequences. Jay Lethal spends a lot of time in the ring but can;t seem to make the tag to Creed as Storm and Roode are keeping him away from his corner while "keeping each other fresh". After 10 mins, the finish comes when Beer Money set up an exhausted Lethal for the DWI, Creed takes out Storm and throws him out of the ring. Roode tries to hit the "Pay-off" on Lethal only for Lethal to throw Roode into Creed who hits him with the "CreeDDT". Creed goes out of the ring to attack Storm while Lethal gets Roode up and hits the "Lethal Combination" for the 3.

    Winners: Consequences Creed

    pro-wrestlings-next-generation-20090713013634467.jpg

We see a replay of the finish as Storm gets back in the ring, clearly stunned at what happened while Creed and Lethal are going up the ramp celebrating with fans. Creed and Lethal showed tonight that they're a legitimate threat for the tag team titles

We see Bourne backstage clearly distraught after what happened in the battle royal earlier tonight. He calls himself stupid for actually believing that Ziggler would help him. The Hart Dynasty walk in on Bourne. Smith agrees with Bourne. "I do think you're stupid but not for believing that Ziggler would help you, it's the fact that you think you can actually win something here." Kidd then takes over, "you see, Sydal, we are the future of wrestling. We're going to be more succesful in our career's than you'll ever be. You were in a promotion before with a 4-time Heavyweight champion who now wrestles in a rival promotion, what have you ever achieved?" "Firstly, it's not Sydal, it's Bourne and at least I can make a name for myself without having the take the Hart family name to raise ye. Next week, I'll prove to ye that Evan Bourne is better than you 2 will ever be"

    *Commercial*

Match 3: Velvet Shy vs. Lita

Good womens match with both getting even amounts of offence but Lita seems to be 1 step ahead of Velvet in everything. If Velvet tries for a submission move, Lita will reverse it straight away. Sky is getting stressed due to fact that she's realised that she can't beat Lita and kisses straight at the entrance. Love begins to come down but get's distracted by R-Truth who comes out after Love dropped a paper bag. Trish runs through the crowd and rolls a can of hairspray to Lita. Lita sprays Sky with the hairspray, rolls the can back to Trish and hits a "Reverse twist of Fate" on Sky to get the 3.

    Winner: Lita

    AAHI059_8x10~Lita-Posters.jpg

Love shoves Truth out of the way when she realised what happened. Love gets in the ring and helps Sky up. Sky pushes her away as Lita is smiling on the stage

Next week: The debut of The Undertaker in the D.W.O and Eddie Guerrero's 1st match + Evan Bourne vs. The Hart Dynasty in a handicap match

Main event: Dolph Ziggler vs. Homicide for the D.W.O Unlimited title

Homicide comes out with Hernandez by his side while Dolph looks like his 6 eliminations earlier have taken it's tole on him. Dolph seems slower in the ring and Homicide quickens the pace up to his advantage. Homicide throws Dolph to the outside (proves Dolph could've been thrown out) and hits a summersault planche through the 2nd and top ropes, hitting Dolph. Homicide get's Dolph into the ring but Ziggler locks in the sleeper hold on Homicide. Homicide is fading fast so Hernandez gets the ref attention just as Homicide taps. Ziggler lets the sleeper go and sets himself up to hit "the Zig Zag" on Homicide. Hernandez rolls into the ring to break Dolph's concentration. The ref ejects Hernandez from ringside as Dolph follows him in the ring to make sure he leaves. Hernandez looks at Dolph and tells him to turn around. Homicide whips Dolph into the turnbuckles, put's him on the top rope and hits a remarkable 187 that nearly breaks Dolph's neck. Homicide gets the 3 and becomes the 1st ever D.W.O Unlimited champion

Winner and NEW D.W.O Unlimited champion: Homicide

    05.jpg
