This thread is exclusively for the posting of your promotion, it's storylines and the final write-up ONLY! Shawn has been gracious enough to allow us to clog up the board with a 3rd thread, so lets not give him any more headaches.

The rules to this thread are:
-Posting is optional. You only have to post your final write-up at the end.
-Your first post is to outline your promotion, TV show name, promotion name etc. etc.
-You can then post once per draft pick. This is essentially your weekly TV show building up to your PPV. You will post this 4 or 5 times. I suggest making matches and segments on your TV show. This will really show the depth in your roster.
-Your final write-up will be posted after round 15. It is your PPV.

You can post your outline from now, but please wait until round 10 to start posting your shows.

    NWLlogonew.jpg?t=1240964729

The NWL is America's premier wrestling promotion. It follows a more sports like format, but does not compromise the quality of the story being told both inside and out of the ring. NWL offers something for everyone.

Every Monday night, NWL's Monday Night Wrestling goes toe to toe with WWE's Monday Night Raw. Monday Night Wrestling has been the number one rated cable wrestling programme in the United States for 29 of the previous 52 weeks. NWL is seen in 43 countries worldwide. It also has one of the most visited websites on the Internet.

One of the biggest differences in the NWL is the off-season (something not shared by it's competition). The off-season takes place from late May until the first week in September. This allows all wrestlers under contract to the NWL a chance to heal their injuries and spend time with their families. During this off-season, NWL's Monday Night Wrestling undergoes a format change which gives viewers an insight into the training of our athletes, shows the highlights of the previous year, showcases matches from our PPVs and each week, interviews a member of the NWL roster.

The NWL holds 4 Pay Per View events annually, it also produces several TV supercards. The 4 PPVs are held in late October, mid December, early March and late May. The October, December and March PPVs are usually named for their main events or the theme of the PPV and May's PPV is known as the SuperBrawl.
    SuperBrawl2andNWLlogo.jpg?t=1240970762
The SuperBrawl is the final event of the NWL's season. Feuds are usually ended at the SuperBrawl, but also the number one contender for the NWL Championship at the begining of the next season is decided at the SuperBrawl. The Champion and number one contender have been known to feud throughout the summer off-season.

    Champions:
    th_NWLchampionship2.jpg
As of October 2008, Chris Jericho has been the NWL Champion, he retired a legendary superstar in a Retirement Match at October's PPV. Since then he has silenced all of his doubters by beating contender after contender. Jericho is hated by the fans for his cool, icy demeaner and his turn on the fans in early 2008. His most recent victory came at March's PPV when he defeated John Bradshaw Layfield in a steel cage match. The victory nearly caused a riot in Austin, Texas when the hometown hero was illegally handcuffed to the ropes as Jericho strutted out of the cage door. What lies next for Jericho is anyones guess.
    th_NWLus.jpg
At March's PPV, a 4 man tournament was held to crown a new United States Champion. However, due to referee error, the result of the final was disputed and both MVP and Lance Storm where declared co-United States Champions. Surely, a unification match is on the horizon at the SuperBrawl.
    th_NWLTTchampionship.jpg
The Rockstars (Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder) are the current NWL Tag Team Champions. They defeated the previous champions, William Regal and Paul Burchill in their first NWL match at the March PPV. These cocky youngsters are highly talented, but will their lack of respect for the veterans of the business get them into trouble?
    th_NWLwomens.jpg
The last but by no means least NWL champion, is the champion of our women's division, Sarah del Rey. Sarah defeated Katie Lea Burchill at the December PPV to be crowned the first NWL Women's Champion. This was the first time in history when a women's match was the main event of an NWL show. Both women continued their feud until Sarah defeated Katie Lea in a no holds barred match to settle their feud. Who's next for the American Angel?

It was also announced at the March PPV that then NWL had been bought out by a consortium. Will the men (or women) behind the consortium come forward sooner rather than later?

    BWA: Bounty Hunter's Wrestling Association

    From The Wrestling Observer
    RE: BWA takeover

We can finally update you on the takeover of the British Wrestling Association (BWA) by the London based Irish entrepreneur known only by his Internet Sudanum 'Bounty Hunter' and its big news, huge infact. I havent reported on anything this big since Vince McMahon bought out his competition in WCW.

It has been reported that the new BWA is already in talks with networks in America, England and Ireland about showcasing their product on Monday nights and have hinted at interest from a Japanese network also should ratings be good elsewhere.

Along with lofty aspirations of being a global wrestling corporation, the most impressive part of the news leaked so far is a list of Wrestlers already confirmed as joining this new incarnation of the BWA which includes former ROH champion and trainer Bryan Danielson, The Mastadon Big Van Vader, Trish Stratus and The British Bulldogs among others.

we should have more details about this exciting new venture very soon

    BWA: 1 Year on

1 Year ago when news of the new BWA was leaked few believed that by now this new organisation would be already rivalling the WWE but that is exactley what has happened especially after recent announcements from the company with regards to their upcoming PPV BWA: Awakening and a big expansion in their current roster including the introduction of Womens and Tag-teams titles to the federation. Combine the fact that starting at the next PPV BWA is going to be shown live and taped in Japan and that starting next week, every monday night from now till the PPV one or two wrestlers newly drafted to the BWA will be announced on Carlito's Cabana to help expand the new title divisions. After the announcement this week tthat argueably the greatest sportsman of all time Muhammad Ali has joined the promotion im sure you are all as eager as me to see who will be announced next.
    BWALI.jpg.Promotional Posters released so far.BWAtrish.jpg

There is also expected to be a promotional poster for the japanese audiences produced featuring Vader, Aja, Ali and one yet to debut superstar.
    22508072.jpg

With the news that we are going to see the first ever BWA tag-team champions crowned at the upcoming Awakening PPV you have to wonder are we going to see more tag wrestlers drafted in the upcoming weeks? After this was announced, the Twin Towers (Big Boss man and The One man gang 'Akeem') staked their claim to the gold announcing they plan to be competing for them at the PPV.
    Women.jpg

With Trish Stratus, Awesome and Aja Kong already drafted to the BWA brand, a womens title belt is argueably long overdue for the company but I wonder will another woman be drafted before the PPV to really add some depth to this divison.
    intercontinental.jpg

At the BWA's most recent PPV offering the Dynamite Kid became the current Intercontinental champion when he pinned former Steve Corino thanks to interferance from the monster Abyss. Looking forward to Awakening will Corino get a rematch or will someone else step up and challenge the champ.
    22508077.jpg

As you all know due to Injury the heavyweight championship was vacated recentley so along with tag champs and a womans champion, we are guaranteed to have a new BWA Heavyweight champion at Awakening. This PPV will truely be where it all starts again for this company but which two superstars will get the chance to battle it out to lead the BWA into this bright new dawn... we will surely find out soon.
    BWA Roster So far
    Muhammad Ali (rd9)
The british Bulldog Davey Boy Smith (rd1)
    The Dynamite Kid (rd1)

    A new era

When the buyout of the WWE was completed by MNG Inc. a little under a year ago, Monday nights were to undergo a total transformation. While tradition lives on with the retention of the company name, and while Shane McMahon stays on as a CEO and controversial on-screen GM of Monday Night Grappling, the risque attitude and increased emphasis on pushing the envelope has seen the company enjoy huge support in the 18-30 demographic. Most notably, the attempts of the McMahon heir to keep the WWE Title off of the ever-popular self-proclaimed 'people's champion', The Rock, has proven to be of particular interest.

    Title Controversy

The WWE now finds itself without a champion however after the recent Royal Rumble PPV, in which the title was on the line much like it was in 1992, ended in disputed circumstances after the Special Referee appointed for the match - Jake 'The Snake' Roberts - eliminated the final two competitors himself and declared the title to be hereby vacated.

Roberts, who hadn't been seen by fans for many months, was named by Shane McMahon as a surprise special referee for the bout and when it came down to WWE Champion The Big Show versus The Rock in the final two, fans hoped The Rock's long odyssey to win back the belt was about to culminate in victory. However, with both men struggling to put the other over, Roberts charged forward eliminating them both before walking away with the title belt.

Why was Roberts appointed referee for the match? What does this mean for the WWE with the big Wrestlemania PPV only weeks away? And how will the superstars respond?

    Return of an icon

Mr. T, not seen in WWE for a long time, comes to Monday Night Grappling next week live from his hometown of Chicago to talk about his plan to visit US troops in Iraq with the WWE later this year.

    An angry giant...

The Big Show, who for the past number of months has had the support of Shane McMahon in his battles with The Rock, wants answers from his boss as to why he has been stripped of his belt. Will the angry giant be calmed by what he hears?

    Discrimination?

Muhammad Hassan, still smarting over being eliminated by every superstar in the Rumble, has blasted his elimination a disgrace and another example of the WWE's attempts to prevent an Arab-American becoming champion. The angry superstar has vowed revenge. What has he got in store?

All's fair in love and war...

As Crash Holly and Beth's friendship continues to blossom, her fiery boyfriend Santino continues to grow vexed. What will the passionate Italian have to say for himself next week?

Tune in next time to find out!

Currently held by Hurricane and Rosey.

    WWE Women's Championship

    Major JWA PPV Draws Near

Next Sunday will see the Jolt Wrestling Alliance hold its Wrestlecade III PPV and in anticipation every day beforehand will see a new tv show recapping the events that took place in the preceding weeks. JWA owner Sexy McHunkiness had this to say: “The idea behind this show is to allow new viewers a chance to catch up before Wrestlecade III, as well as giving our loyal fanbase a chance to get even more hyped up for the event. The show, simply entitled “Wrestlecade III Preview” will run each night from Tuesday, with the first episode airing directly after our weekly show “JWA: Tuesday Night Cooked”, until Saturday, with each episode covering a different feud. The popularity of our company has skyrocketed in recent weeks since the appearances of President Obama so we feel these shows will help our many new viewers catch up with the stories for our matches at Wrestlecade III.”

The promotion was founded by Mr. McHunkiness back in 2003, and the promotion quickly grew a cult fanbase in the local area. That fanbase grew thanks to fortnightly internet shows. The show became such an online hit that local networks became interested and on them they were regularly among the top three most watched programs. In 2006 the promotion was offered a national tv deal and also held their first PPV called Wrestlecade. Buy rates were mediocre but the show was a critical success. Since then the promotion has gone from strength to strength having such stars as The Undertaker, Ted DiBiase, Mike Rotondo, Jushin Liger, The Great Muta, Tito Santana, Virgil, Ultimo Dragon, Dragon Kid, Kevin Von Erich, David Von Erich, Jim Cornette and most recently, Barack Obama and it is now considered one of the “Big 3” promotions in America. Wrestlecade III promises to be an historic event so stay tuned right here for all the build up.

    Global Championship Wrestling

This is the pre-eminent brand in professional wrestling today. Combining the best in technical wrestling with the finest storylines of sports entertainment. GCW broadcasts one television show weekly, and hosts 8 PPV’s monthly.

Over the past several months a war has been brewing between the predominately Canadian Hart Foundation, and the ultra Patriotic American combination of (the US Champion) Kurt Angle and Sgt Slaughter. Prior to last nights PPV it was rumoured a new member would be joining the Patriots, his identity hotly debated.

GCW Lords of Wrestling PPV report:

The PPV started with a title defence by the Hart Foundation 2.0, beating their opponents in a great display of tag team wrestling in which they displayed both their high flying and technical prowess.

This was followed by the semi finals of the World’s Championship tournament which saw Batista and Kevin Nash progress to the final.

The hard drinking Sandman won his hardcore battle with Jim Neidhart, thanks to interference from Sgt. Slaughter. Texan fans delighted when Slaughter appeared from nowhere to knock the Anvil unconscious with a baseball bat.

Was Sandman the member of the Patriots?

Sandman, already battle weary, attacked Slaughter but met with the same fate as The Anvil, with Slaughter throwing sandman over Neidhart to get the 3 count.

    GCW US title match

In the penultimate bout Owen Hart took on Kurt Angle in a match for the US Championship. For 30 minutes both fighters threw everything into their fight. Each time one fighter seemed to get the upper hand, his opponent would make a come back. The match ended in a time limit draw and Kurt Angle retained the title, but neither warrior was happy with the result and made it clear they wanted to continue the fight.

    GCW World Championship Tournament Final

The World Championship tournament finals were up last. As the fight began the commentators made sure to note that as the Championship was vacant a definitive winner would be necessary so this would be a No DQ match. They also noted that the new member of the patriots had yet to be revealed.

After several minutes of back and forth action Sgt. Slaughter made his way down to the ring, but did nothing interfere, instead choosing to watch the action from ringside. Jack Evans and Teddy Hart then arrived at ringside to a chorus of boos from the American fans. A face off between Sarge and the tag champs, but there was no contact. Suddenly Nash threw Batista to the outside, where he knocked into Hart, Evans immediately launched an attack on Batista but quickly received a Batista bomb from the enraged monster.

This distraction was enough to allow Nash to get the upper hand, whacking Batista with a chair to the head. Nash rolled the dazed monster back into the ring, where he was able to line up a power bomb. Batista kicks out of the first one, but is still too dazed to avoid a second one, and this time Nash pins him for the win.

Sarge picks up the belt and hands it to Nash, raising his hand, and confirming to the cheering fans that the new champ is also the newest member of the patriots.

So it's finally happened, the WWE universe has changed ownership. The first act of the new owners was to unify the 3 brands into one again. Deciding to shift a bit more emphasis to development, there would be one weekly flagship show, WWE Volt and an inferior house show for dark matches. Coming to the conclusion that quality is better than quantity, many superstars were deemed surplus to requirements. It is to be seen as to whether or not GM Stephanie McMahon has what it takes to make this bold move work, she has made it known that there will be further recruitments to the show over the coming weeks. Who they are is anybody's guess.

    28177f5.jpg

    The titles:
    WWE Championship
Deciding that the Cena 'spinning' belt was far too tacky, the new owners pushed for the re-introduction of something classier.
    10133.jpg
As of late, John Cena's reign has been somewhat, easy. As the crowd grow more and more tired of his gimmick, he has changed his image to a more mature, removed character and his care for the fans is well and truly gone. All that's left is a cocky, unchallenged champion. Can anybody stop the untouchable one's reign?

    WWE Tag Team Championship

    22508072.jpg
To be tag team champions nowadays, an air of dynamism mixed with relentless team work is needed. One of the issues that WWE Volt addressed first was the promotion of a more interesting Tag Team division. The current champions are The Public Enemy. The Nasty Boys have been their main rivals for the last few months but with the re-emergence of the Right To Censor, how nasty can this tag team title race get?

As more superstars are announced, it is likely that another title will be added.

    Here's a background into what's been happening

Having been out suspended, Shelton Benjamin is back better than ever. He spent his time away bulking up the correct way with his newly found mentor, LT Taylor. Recently, Benjamin returned to action in some dark matches. Is the new and improved (and reinforced) Gold Standard destined for the top?
    *********************************************************
Stephanie has had to barricade her room weekly a toop stop Kane from entering. Kane has been demanding a shot at Cena but Stephanie told him that losing to men half his size via roll ups doesn't really look great on his CV. The Big Red Machine is out to prove a point. Can he finally be successful in the WWE or will he be forever resigned to midcard mediocrity?
    *********************************************************
While the new owners recognise and fully respect the talents of the WWE divas, they are also aware of the pulling power of bra and panties matches. While this outraged Victoria in particular, she has reluctantly agreed to participate in such matches under the condition that if the females on display demonstrate adequate skills, the Womans Title will be contested for on the grandest stage of them all. With women's pride all over the world at stake, can they fend off the hounding from the patriarchal WWE Universe?

    Furious Wrestling Experience

When the wrestling business was struggling to make a massive impact on the world and new federation was making its name touring in venues around the world. What all the other promotions were lacking in this new federation was making up for it with fast paced action from start to finish and wrestling's top talent all under one roof. The new promotion was called........................................Furious Wrestling Experience.

    Champions

    10134.jpeg

The current WHC is the ultimate opportunist Edge. Although Edge has been the champ for 6 months he has survived some of the top challengers but who will be the next number 1 contender for the belt?? After what happened at the last ppv EXPERIENCED will jeff look for another shot after edge got himself DQ'd by hitting jeff with a chair and laying him out unconscious

    intercontinental_championship.jpg

Current champion is the All American American Jack Swagger. Swagger became champ when he defeated Mr Kennedy after Hernandez turned on Kennedy during their match at EXPERIENCED after Hernandez would hit a border toss on Kennedy allowing swagger to capitalize and become a new FWE IC champ. How will Kennedy re-act after losing the title????? or will he get his revenge on Hernandez

    smcktag.jpg

Current champs are Lethal Consequences . After beating Kiyoshi/Sheik and Beer Money INC in a triple threat tag team elimination match . Kiyoshi/Sheik were eliminated 1st by Beer Money , and after a fast paced match Creed would counter the eye of the storm with a roll up allowing them to become the 1st FWE Tag Team Champions

    Beer Money INC
    Mr.Kennedy
    Hernandez

So heres my first post on my new company, the re-energised and revitalised NWA. Theres a history of the company, where it stands right now and a list of rules entitled the NWA charter I’ve gone on WAY longer than I thought with this, so i hope it doesn’t bore anyone. I enjoyed writing it way more than i thought I would!:D

    NWA_LOGO_A_0562.jpg

    Background History.

For many years following the death of TNA and ROH, fans had become increasingly bored with the stale, repetitive monopoly enjoyed by WWE and Vince McMahon. In the absence of any competetion McMahon became complacent, standards slipped and the paying customers slowly began to turn their televisions off in their thousands. It seemed as if wrestling was slipping into its worst recession in many decades.

It was in response to this disillusionment on the part of die-hard wrestling fans that talks began in the southern states of America to revive an old institutiuon that had long been confined to the history books of professional wrestling. Taking on board the complaints of professional wrestling fans who had long since tired of Sports Entertainment, embarrassing storylines that insulted their intelligence and a seeming disregard for the legacy of the sport, it was decided that the National Wrestling Alliance would be revived in the Southern market, a traditional hotbed of professional wrestling, where fans craved a return to basic professional wrestling.

Conscious of the fact that the NWA name had been tarnished beyond repair in its final years as an active institution, with mediocre champions defending the title on obscure independent shows, the newly-reformed Board of Directors made the inspired move of signing Ricky Steamboat as the star attraction of the fledgling company. Steamboat epitomised everything that this new promotion aimed to embody. Besides his unparralleled skills as an in-ring performer, he had the credibililty of being a former champion who had raised the prestige of the belt in its glory years, he was the type of honourable, wholesome character that was a direct contrast to the sleaze and tastless promotion that was being run up North. Steamboat, himself an outspoken critic of Vince McMahon’s modus operandi immediately bought into the NWA ideal and passionately set about rebuilding its reputation.

With Steamboat as the beloved fan favourite, initial shows ran in local arenas. In its early months the Board focused on buiding a good reputation amongst local wrestling fans, producing a product that provided good value for money, encouraging families to attend by offerering free entrance to children and focusing on traditional professional wrestling, with a distinct face/heel divide and simple, easy to follow storylines. Having secured the goodwill of the local population, running shows in Houston, Dallas and the surrounding cities, gates began to rise steadily as word of mouth began to spread. At the company’s first year Anniversary Show, the Board decreed that the company had garnered a sufficiently positive reputation to name their first Champion in a one-night tournament. After an incredible night’s wrestling, it was Steamboat who stood tall and was named the NWA Heavyweight champion. He would go on to hold the title for a record breaking 24 months, taking on all challengers, carrying the company on his back and slowly building a new legacy for a title that had previously become an afterthought in the world of professional wrestling.

With increased exposure on the back of Steamboats incredible reign, it wasn’t long before a totally disillusioned internet community began to champion the NWA as their great white hope of professional wrestling. As DVDs of shows began to circulate, the online NWA website began to air monthly shows along the lines of Saturday Night’s Main Event on their website again providing staggering value for money to their customers. With this increased revenue at their disposal, more and more talented wrestlers were being lured down South, attracted by the prospect of working without restriction, being allowed to express themselves unhindered by an inept creative team and having an input into their own character development and direction. Basically wrestlers were trusted by the booking committee in a way that they had never been before and safe in the knowledge that the harder they worked, the more they would be pushed, the lockerroom gained a reputation as the hardest working in professional wrestling, where talent, not size or politics decided who was pushed and who was not. Before long, incredibly charismatic workers like Eddy Guerrero became regulars on NWA shows and antagonistic groups like the Fabulous Freebirds, the brainchild of the dastardly Michael Hayes became the most hated group in the NWA. Indeeed another characteristic of the new NWA was the focus on tag team wrestling, a crowd favourite with the Southern fans. The NWA tag team titles became the most sought after tag titles in all of of professional wrestling, with the Rock and Roll Express emerging as the finest and most hard working team in the world. Such was the esteem in which the titles were held that they were regarded every bit as highly as the singles belt and tag title matches would commonly headline the most popular NWA shows.

Having won the hearts of the local community and impressed the ever-fickle internet population, the next obstacle in the way of the NWA was to gain widespread mainstream attention on a national level. The board decided on a two-pronged means of attack. Firstly, they bagan to run shows further beyond their traditional catchment area, even running shows as far north as New York and Philapdelphia. A spectacular feud between Steamboat and the Freebirds that raged for over a year drew the fans in their thousands in these newer territories, culminating in the company’s debut in the Hammerstein Ballroom, where 5,000 rabid fans watched Steamboat successfully defend his NWA title against the awesome heavyweight “Bam Bam” Terry Gordy in a 40 minute war that was lauded by Meltzer as the greatest match on North American soil since the disbandment of ROH. Indeed the feud itself was named as feud of the Year in the company’s fourth year by none other than Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, himself an avid supporter of the company from its very inception and was credited with winning the company a new loyal fanbase in Philly, Chicago and New York, the traditional West Coast wrestling hotbeds.

Secondly and most importantly the company secured a television deal to initially air in its fledgling market, the Texas area. Central to the success of this deal was the fact that the TV compay, owned by billionaire local legend Ted Turner agreed to cover the cost of producing the show, in return for a percentage stake in the company and its future earnings. This meant that the NWA would avoid the many financial difficulties experienced by similar companies in the past such as ECW, for whom a TV deal spelled the beginning of the end of its very existence. With the emphasis on creating the best possible TV show and without TV executives trying to interfere with the product in any way, the weekly one hour TV was an instant sensation. Delivering hard-hitting, fast paced wrestling and well-booked, compelling storylines, it fast gained a reputation as the finest wrstling show on TV and the TV company had no hesitation in selling the rights into the other newly established markets as well as potential new markets where the company had not even run yet.

It was around this time too that Ricky Steamboat was invited to tour with New Japan Pro Wrestling, the largest and most prestigious company in the Far East. The tour was a massive success, with Steamboat defending his title against all comers in a series of matches that earned critical praise and delighted locals. Having been defended on the world stage, the NWA Title was now declared the NWA World Heavyweight Title, the last step in restoring its once tarnished reputation to that of most coveted and respected of all major wrestling titles. New Japan officials were deeply impressed with the professionalism and manner in which the visiting party handled themselves on the entire trip and negotiations took place whereby a talent exchange system would take place between the companies. With that in mind, fans were delighted by the news that Tiger Mask, widely regarded as the finest Junior wrestler in the world, if not ever would, the following year be making the NWA his semi-permanent home for the foreseeable future. Speculation was also rife that further exciting signings would be made in the coming weeks.

    Present Day:

The final step in the evolution of the NWA was to stage regular shows on PPV. In the last few months indeed, the company has been in an advanced stage of negotiations whereby the company will be contracted to the Turner TV Corporation to stage four PPVs a year, starting with the first, NWA Breakout, in the city where it all began, Houston Texas, in six weeks time. The company promises that everyone involved will be going all out to blow the wrestling world away at this monumental, historical occasion. Tickets for this occasion are already like golddust with local operators reporting website crashes and phoneline breakdowns as local fans scramble to be a part of history. A remarkable sellout of the 15,000 seater Ted Turner Arena seems guaranteed even at this early stage.

However as with success in any walk of life there is always a price to pay and the explosion of this organisation has been watched by the ever paranoid powers that be up North, who certainly won’t be happy to have a new competitor on the horizon

    THE NWA CHARTER:

In attempt to produce a product that was a true alternative to the at times nonsensically governed companies elsewhere, the NWA charted was produced at the time of the company’s inception. The NWA board prides itself on its accountability and openness. Rules are enforced rigidly and controversial decisions are examined in detail by the Board before being officially passed.

    1. The credibility of the NWA World Heavyweight Title and NWA Tag Titles is if of utmost importance.
The NWA board takes a dim view of underhand tactics being employed in title matches and is not above fining or suspending thoise who engage in such activities. The titles can change hands by pinfall or submission. However any wrestler seen to have themselves disqualified as a means to retain the belkt cheaply will be stripped of the title and expelled forthwith from the NWA.

    2. Secondary Titles.
Given that the company is a relatively young organsiation with a roster that is limited in size, the Board feels that it is premature at this stage to introduce a second singles title. However as the company expands and and becomes more established they reserve the right to re-introduce the NWA TV Tile if and when appropriate.

    3. Number one contendorship.

    3a. NWA World Heavyweight Title:
there is no glass ceiling in the NWA. Such is the nature of our promotion and such is the quality of competition employed that everyone is a legitimate challenger for the World title and success in the ring will be rewarded with a title shot, regardles of size, look of wrestling style. With that in mind, we expect the number one contendorship for the title to be hotly contested and defended almost like a title in itself. With that in mind, the Number one contendor will be decided by a ranking system based directly on wins in the ring. The Number One Contendor will be expected to defend his position as the top challenger like it is a title in itself. This makes undercard matches more meaningful as everytime a wrestler steps in the ring they will be affecting their overall standing in the company and challenging the number one contendor as a way of gaining a future title shot for oneself.

    3b. NWA Tag Titles.
Such is the strength and depth of quality tag teams on the NWA roster that the NWA has decided to put a formal process in place whereby tag teams can gain a shot at the NWA titles. A points system will be put in place whereby a win in a tag match earns a point. Gaining 3 points in a row (ie wining 3 NWA sanctioned tag matches in a row ) entitles a team to a shot at the tag Titles on a future NWA event. However a team that loses a match goes back to zero points and slips to the bottom of the tag ranks again. Again this makes for meaningful undercard matches and establishes a natural heirarchy for the many tag teams on the roster. The points system raises the importance of the Tag titles, make a shot at the title seem much more valuable and helps raise the prestige of the titles to an equal level of that of the World title itself.

    4. Gimmick matches. The NWA prefers not to book throwaway gimmick matches for no good reason. Cage matches and no DQ matches will be reseerved for special circumstances where a pair of wrestlers or teams have a particularly serious grudge that cannot be settled in the confines of a normal match. Saving such matches for such outstanding circumstances so to speak makes them all the more special when they do happen and fans do not become blase or numb to their effectiveness.

    S.W.L
    Slick Wrestling League

The Slick Wrestling League (SWL) is a new and exciting brand of professional wrestling, seeking to entertain with some of the greatest athletes on earth, as well as staying true to the traditions of a wonderful business.

This is a company that merely wants to provide a place where wrestlers can simply do what they love doing: wrestling and entertaining. And as such, those who become a part of this company will know that if they reach the top it is because they are the best at exhibiting the principles that we hold dear.

This has been building and building; to the point where the media spotlight is starting to shine a bit on us. There are two live shows a week broadcast live on TV, on a Monday and a Friday. All wrestlers appear on both shows, with the focus on easy to follow, consistent storylines.

Mike Tyson is even being rumoured to want to lend his name and talents to the League. These are interesting times, and such is the way in which the product is presented, that week on week, your guess is as good as anyones as to what will happen next in the SWL.
    The State of Play...

    Mid-Atlantic%20Title%20Belt%201973%20Main%20Plate.jpg

    SWL Heavyweight Championship

The current champion is Terry Funk. For months now he has managed to run over all comers. The maniacal, deranged and gifted Funk has not only beaten a trail of talent, he has also left many of them with broken feet and ankles while he's at it. At the last PPV, 3 months ago, he smashed up the foot of Ken Shamrock with a lead pipe in their 1-on-1 title match, completely disregarding the rules and his opponent's well-being, and synching in his Spinning Toe Hold for a full 5 mins before releasing, as the crowd roared their disapproval at the treatment of the popular former MMA fighter. Shamrock hasn't been seen since, with scans afforded to SWL Management at the timeshowing damage that will need 6 months of healing. Funk is feared, despised and respected in equal measure. Sting and Arn Anderson are others who have coveted the belt Funk wears for months, waiting for their opportunity at the crazy son-of-a-bit*h.

    USMTA-Natrional%20Championship%20Belt-2.jpg

    World Television Championship

A title which is worn by arguably the greatest pure worker in the company, Tully Blanchard is as smug as he is talented. A cohort of Arn Anderson, Blanchard admits that as long as he wins, everything is ok. The belt is what matters. And when you get a man as technically skilled as he, not afraid to do what it takes, legal or not, you have a champion hard to dislodge. Barry Windham has chased the title for 3 months now. Tully has eeked out some cheap wins, dodged bullets, dodged matches, but you feel things will come to an ultimate head soon. How will Windham get a final chance 1-on-1? Will he even get another shot?

    TagTitles.jpg

    SWL Tag Team Titles
The Briscoes and The Fabulous Rougeaus are the premiere talents in tag team wrestling. The Rougeaus are a smug, brash young team with no regard for the audience they wrestle in front of. They hold the titles right now, but the Briscoes exhibit a dynamic breed of wrestling, not seen before by the Rougeaus. Already they have fought, with the Rougeaus continuing to escape with the belts. The Briscoes want to entertain and win, something the Rougeaus mock and belittle in equal measure. Winning is all that matters for them. Why should they care if the crowd likes them? Will the Briscoes get another shot? How can they earn that shot? Will the wave of support and excitement from the audience help or hinder them?

The SWL Roster also boasts former champion Yokozuna and Austin Aries, along with many new additions still to be named, and many more still to be recruited. Stay tuned to find out whose coming, and what's going to happen as result!

    MondayNiteWrestling.jpg?t=1241462000

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first episode of Monday Night Wrestling to be broadcast in the UK and Ireland via Sky Sports. Over the last few weeks, it has come to the attention of the fans that a consortium has bought 91% of the shares of NWL. Many fans have discussed in internet chat rooms and forums that they believe that tonight the consortium will reveal itself....and they are right!

**Exlpoding pyro as commentators Jim Ross and Bobby Heenan welcome us to the show and announce that the consortium is about to enter the ringside area.

    Segment 1: The consortium arrives
The ring announcer announces that the consortium who has purchased the NWL is Minto. Minto comes to the ring to the tune of "I've got the power". He announces the NWL will prosper under his leadership and he has already joined forces with Mattel and EA Sports to produce toys and videogames under the NWL brandnname. He also announces he is close to finalising TV deals in Mexico, Japan and Mainland Europe. Finally, Minto introduces us to the NWL's new commissioner of wrestling, Denny Crane who appears at the entrance ramp to the theme of Boston Legal. Denny tells the NWL Fan Nation to expect the unexpected under his rule.

Segment 2: The British Empire implodes!
The Rockstars (Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder) enter the arena to defend their newly won tag team championships against the former champions, William Regal and Paul Burchill with Katie Lea, whom they defeated the previous night at the PPv. The Rockstars defeat the British Empire to retain their World Tag Team Championships in a decent back and forth match, although after the match Burchill turns on Regal and beats him until the referees and trainers break it up. During this time, The Rockstars stand at the entrance stage mocking and laughing at William Regal. Will somebody be able to put these punks in their place?

Segment 3: US or Canadian Champion?
MVP enters the ring and says he doesn't do anything by halves and wants to be the sole holder of the US Championship. Lance comes on the tron with a Canadian version of the US Championship and a condescending smile on his face. He goes on to declare himself the Candian Champion and he will retire the US Championship when he defeats MVP at the SuperBrawl.

Segment 4: A little mystery goes a long way!
We come back from commercial and are in the commissioner of wrestling's (CoW's) office, Denny Crane tells Sarah del Rey that he has a mystery opponent lined up for her at the SuperBrawl. All will be revealed in due course.

Segement 5: Can you say squash?
Lance Storm enters the arena with the Canadian championship. In the ring is Chris Hero. Lance grabs a mic and tells Hero he is a typical arrogant American who doesn't respect the great country of Canada and their history of breeding great technical wrestlers. He lists out Canadian wrestlers and gets loads of heat for including Benoit. Storm then promises to make an example of Hero. The match lasts only a few seconds as he superkicks Hero after dropping the mic. He then pins him. After the match MVP runs down the aisle as Lance bails out to the crowd to a chorus of boos.

Segement 6: A very macho return!
Chris Jericho comes to the ring in a suit with the NWL World title over his shoulder. He begins by calling all the fans hypocrites for booing him for what he did to JBL the previous night, yet they paid to see JBL batter and bloody him. They only boo'd because they didn't like the fact Jericho was better than anyone the NWL could throw at him. He has beaten legends and now he has nobody left to beat. Suddenly, the lights go out and come back on with the words "Ohhhhhh yyyyyeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh" on the tron. The crowd erupts as the Macho Man's music hits over the PA. Jericho looks on in fear as Randy Savage comes down the ramp and into the ring. Savage tells Jericho that he is one of the most talented wrestles he has ever seen, but Jericho's attitude towards those who came before is sickening to those who wrestled night after night, 290+ days a year to entertain the fans. Savage tells Jericho that he will never be remembered as anything more than a whiner and a moaner. Jericho who has had enough, knocks him out with the mic and proceeds to beat on Savage. Monday Night Wrestling goes off the air with Jericho covered in blood standing over the body of Savage.

Minto and the NWL wish to thank you for tuning into NWL Monday Night Wrestling.

    Roster as of this point:

    On-air talent

    The Rock
Jake 'The Snake' Roberts (recently returned)
    The Big Show
    Santino Marella
    Beth Phoenix
    Muhammad Hassan
    Hurricane Helms
    Rosey
    Hardcore Holly
    Crash Holly
    Mr. T (occasional)

    General Manager:

    Mr. Shane McMahon
This week's MNG show comes live from Chicago, Illinois.

    Introduction:

The show opened with Big Show demanding answers from Shane as to why Special Ref for the recent Rumble match Jake Roberts eliminated both Show and The Rock. Show said people had been asking him if he was still the champion and that he didn't know the answer. He said after everything he had done for Shane in dealing with The Rock in recent months he deserved answers. He said he was a giant and it's a bad idea to piss off a giant. He said if it was true he'd been stripped of his title then Shane and Jake Roberts would be having their asses kicked. He gave Shane to the count of 3 to come out but when he got to 3, The Rock came out to the ring instead to a huge pop. Rock told Big Show if he wanted Shane and Jake he'd have to get in line as he was looking to lay the smackdown on their asses right here in Chicago.

At this point Shane came out joined by Jake Roberts to large boos. Shane told Show he was sick and tired of his efforts to finish off The Rock once and for all. He said his family was all about tradition and having a trash talking big mouth like The Rock as champion would be too much to bear. He said Show couldn't get the job done so he decided to take the title from him. He said he had to turn to a more dangerous animal. Roberts got on the mic and cut a good promo about how his career would be incomplete unless he won the big one. He said Big Show was a toothless champion and that he was sick of hearing The Rock go on about his journey to win the title. Roberts said if Rock had walked in his shoes he would know all about a real journey.

Shane booked a main event later on between The Rock and The Big Show and said the winner of that match would face Jake 'The Snake' for the vacant WWE Championship at Wrestlemania. Shane said Jake deserved his opportunity for doing wrestling fans a great service.

Match #1 Hardcore Holly b. Santino

Holly won clean with the Alabama Slam. He grabbed the mic and said he and his cousin wanted the tag belts at Mania. Santino got upset at Beth and grabbed her arm. Crash ran down and pushed Santino. Beth slapped the pair of them and then left. Crowd popped for that.

A tribute to the troops video package featuring Mr T talking about his involvement with the tribute to the troops was shown.

Mr T came out to the ring to a big pop. He said it was good to be here in his hometown of Chicago and that he was happy to work with WWE for the troops. He talked about how proud he was to be an American. At this point Muhammad Hassan interrupted. He said he could no longer sit back and listen to Mr T spout such lies about America. He said America was all about greed and racism, and that it was an injustice that he was not considered for the WWE title match at Wrestlemania, despite being undefeated. Mr T said he'd heard what Hassan had been saying about America and that maybe it was time someone shut him up. They had a face-off. Crowd popped for this. Hassan backed off and said he had no problem with T. He extended his hand. As T went to shake it, he spat in his face and gave him a low blow. He then grabbed a chair and hit him with some shots. Hassan said the WWE would feel his vengeance. There was great heat for this segment.

Santino was backstage with Beth. He apologised for grabbing her. He said he didn't like Beth's friendship with Crash. He said he didn't understand why Beth was wasting her time with a short annoying little man and that he hates guys like that. Santino said it was high time someone opened a can of the ass whip on him. Beth said she was sick of Santino's behaviour and said to leave Crash alone. She said she was going out to join Crash later for his next match and to cheer him on as a friend. Santino looked on angrily.

Big Show walked in to The Rock's locker room and the two had a staredown. Show said he had made poor choices in the past by trusting Shane and that after tonight his issues with The Rock would be put on hold - for now. Show said even though it seemed they now had common enemies that he would still have to take out The Rock to get back his WWE Title. Show left as Rock looked on.

    Match # 2 Crash Holly b. Rosey

Santino came out with chocolates and and tried to give them to Beth. She refused them. He then pulled a necklace from his boot and tried to give it to her and again she refused it. He then pulled a rose painfully from his tights and tried to give this to her and again she refused. Crash came out of the ring and shoved Santino. He told him to go away. Santino grabbed one of the tag belts and with the ref distracted went to hit Crash but nailed Rosey instead. Crash hit a jump-swinging DDT for the pin as Santino pounded the mat in frustration.

A video package for Jake Roberts was shown. It focused on his career and personal struggles and Roberts emphasised how he needed to win the title to conclude his story.

The Rock cut a pre-match interview. He said tonight was one of the biggest nights of his career. He said that he agreed with Big Show that the two now had a common enemy and after tonight their issues would be on hold for the time being, but he said Show was mistaken if he thought Rock would lose. Rock said he would whoop Big Show's ass and then turn his attentions towards Roberts and Shane. Rock said the only conclusion to Roberts' story would involve him getting his monkey ass whooped by The Great One. He said it's ironic Roberts calls himself Jake 'The Snake' when from what he'd heard it was more like 'Jake 'The Worm'. The crowd started chanting 'Jake The Worm' as The Rock smiled. Rock said he and Shane can have fun touching snakes but Rock will have his fun whooping their candy asses - 'if ya smellll what The Rock is cooking'.

Match # 3, (Number One Contender's match) The Rock b. Big Show

This was a good back-and-forth main event. Shane and Jake 'The Snake' watched from ringside as the crowd was solidly behind The Rock. The finish saw Rock slip out of Big Show's chokeslam and hit The Rock Bottom followed by The People's Elbow for the clean win. After the match Rock and big Show shook hands and went outside to beat up Shane and Jake. Suddenly a big man wearing a pulled-down cap jumped the rails and attacked Rock and Show. He pulled it off and it was revealed to be Bam Bam Bigelow. Shane told Bigelow to go up top and he hit a bis splash on Big Show. Jake then went under the ring and pulled out a bag with Damien in it. He draped the snake over The Rock. The show closed with Shane, Bam Bam and Jake 'The Snake' soaking up the crowd's boos.

    Next Time...

    - Wrestlemania's main event has now been confirmed as The Rock vs Jake 'The Snake' for the vacant WWE Title but how will The Great One respond to being assaulted by Jake and having the snake Damien hurled on top of him?

    - Shane and Big Show's partnership has been well and truly ended. With the shocking debut of Bam Bigelow, how will Big Show react to being assaulted?

    - Muhammad Hassan laid out Mr. T. Is there anyone that can stop him?

    - And how will the love triangle with Beth, Crash and Santino play out?

Tune in next time to Monday Night Grappling. WE JUST BRING IT!

Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you POW!

Pro Orestes Wrestling is a new wrestling company which has been set up to try and save the dignity and honour of professional wrestling. Using the greatest of talent, POW will show that all of the mic talk and all of stories outside of the ring can not beat a good story inside the ring.

This new federation has no champions, but it will create real champions. There are no "face chasing heel" storylines, no "revenge" angles. It is simply a matter of the best versus the best, in combat, with one man emerging as the victor and his hand held high.

Pro Orestes Wrestling is not the glitz and glamour of "sports entertainment", it is not fireworks and light-shows. It is not a soap opera with matches fitted in as an inconvenience between 20 minute chat-show segments.

    It is a wrestling show.

POW believes in wrestling. The pure and simple love of the craft of wrestling between individuals who are willing to put their bodies on the line to put on a show, whole respecting the sheer skill and ability that it takes for those athletes to do so.

POW is not about tv ratings, it is not about t-shirt sales, it is not about who gets the biggest cheers or who has the most signs in the crowd.

POW is about ability. Pure, natural, talent who are willing to do whatever it takes to put on the greatest show they can for their fans, for fans who appreciate talent.

There is no showbiz here, there are no gimmicks, just performers who will give their all for their pure love of their craft. The athletes who perform with POW just love to wrestle, and only in POW are they free to do just that.

POW recogises, appreciates, and respects all forms of wrestling talent, and will give that talent a platform to make their own and show the world what they can do. Heavyweights, middleweights, and cruiserweights will all be given the same oppertunity to display their talents to the audience.

    POW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

The future of the wrestling industry, the perfect wrestler split into two people, which half of this duality will finally take control, take charge, and become a star?

    X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

    TNA_X_Division_Title.jpg

8 amazing athletes all vying for the same title, how can a champion be decided?

Paul London, Billy Kidman, Jerry Lynn, Shannon Moore, Jimmy Yang, Sonny Siake, Jorge Estrada, Amazing Red

With no other way to narrow the competition down to two men to compete for the title, an 8 man tournement will decide the X-Division champion, with one man reigning supreme at the end.

    MMA EXHIBITION

POW stands by the promise to provide wrestling of the highest quality, even if that wrestling is not necessarily in the Professional Wrestling world. POW is proud to present an exhibition match between two of the biggest stars in MMA and UFC history, Tito Ortiz and Dan Severn.

    BWA: Awakening 5 weeks away

The Show opens with a short recap of the most recent BWA ppv while the announcers inform the audience that tonight will see the first of a number of elimination matches to see who will be named the no.1 contender and get the opportunity to face whomever is crowned the new BWA champion at Awakening.

    (Carlito's Cabana)
Carlito interviews the new BWA's newest draftee...Muhammad Ali
    wwe-carlito.jpg...........Muhammad_Ali2.jpg

Carlito asks Muhammad Ali about why he has joined the BWA which leads to Ali using some of his best one liners to explain his ambitions. He states that he was topped polls and won awards worldwide as the greatest ever sportsman, but he has only ever competed in boxing which he describes as 'a lot of white men watching two black men beat each other up'. He then states 'I am the greatest, I said that even before I knew I was' and these people have said im the greatest of all sportsmen before they even know its true, but they needent worry cos he is here to prove them right!. He admits its a new sport to him but says 'He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life' and that he has been training long and hard in aticipation of this 'I hated every minute of training, but I said, "Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion." his relative lack of experience hasnt changed the mans cocky nature though as he began to finish his statement by talking himself up as only he can, 'It's hard to be humble, when you're as great as I am' he said and was going to go on but..

Carlito apologises for interupting Ali but says he has just been informed by the Chairman (Bounty Hunter) in his earpiece that he is to introduce the newest member of the BWA roster who is supposidly about to make his way to the ring right now...Bruno Sammartino!
    brunohof.jpg

Bruno Sammartino keeps it short and to the point, he states that he is here to lead the BWA into a bright new era and if an ametuer like Ali or anyone else wants to get in his way he will see them in 5 weeks at BWA: Awakening.
Twin Towers vs The British Bulldogs(tag team match)
    TWINTOWERS.jpgbulldogs003.jpg

The British Bulldogs Def The Twin Towers: The Twin Towers push Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid all the way in this match and come out of it strong despite Smith getting the 3 count after delivering a running powerbomb to the big bossman.

The Dynamite Kid grabs the mic post match and speaks to the man who he beat for the IC title at the last BWA PPV Steve Corino. He says that he gained a lot of respect for the self proclaimed king of oldschool that night and that when deals with Abyss his rematch is waiting for him if he wants it

Double Kong vs Trish Stratus & Carlito

Double Kong Def Trish & Carlito: Trish kayfabe pulls a muscle in her leg as she starts the match vs Awesome Kong and from that moment on Carlito is reluctant to tag her in. Later as the crowd chant for trish she tags herself in but he injury is targeted by Awesome Kong as she keeps Stratus far away from her corner. Eventually a 3 count is got as while Aja distracts Carlito, Awseome hits a Awseome splash (as seen performed previously below) on Trish in the middle of th ring for the win.

Steve 'King of Old School' Corino vs Abyss (no.1 contender series match)

    corino.jpgpromo_abyss.jpg

Double DQ: after 10 plus minutes of the best Mat wrestling ive ever witnessed from Abyss and just when Steve Corino seems to be getting on top Abyss loses his cool and in an impressive feat of strenght throws Corino clear out of the ring and onto the annouce table. He then proceeds to pull from beneath the ring many of his favourite toys, like tumbtacks and shards of glass which he spreads all around the floor around the announce table all the time ignoring the referees count. Just as the referee gets to 10 and calls for a double DQ countout Abyss mounts the announce table and chockeslams Corino onto the weapon encrusted floor leaving him a bloody mess as the show goes off the air

what does this mean for the chase for the no.1 contendership?
Is it now Ali vs Sammartino at Awakening?
Who will be challenging for the IC title at the next PPV?
and who will be the next draftee to the BWA?

    Full Tilt Wrestling

    ftw_stencil_download.jpg

Presenting - FTW: Full Tilt Wrestling. A company where anything goes. A company where extreme MEANS extreme. A company with some of the most violent, bloody and intense matches you will see anywhere. A company where Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll are not only encouraged, but are made a pre-requite. PG-13? Forget about it. FTW is the most vicious, hardcore two hours of television going. FTW doesn't just push the envelope - it sends it straight to hell.

FTW began almost a year ago - when a small but highly creative group of writers from a massive worldwide wrestling organization, who had began to grow disillusioned with the direction their company were taking, decided to form a break-away wrestling company. Tired of having innovative, edgy ideas rejected in favour of stale, kid-friendly angles the 8 strong group, led by a so far unknown person, formed FTW - an organization where their ideas could be expressed without having to have to run them through anybody else. On May 25th 2008 an event known as Hell On Earth - featuring the stars of FTW was held. It was an event that grabbed the wrestling world by the throat, and shook it to its foundations - it signalled the birth of Full Tilt Wrestling.

FTW weekly programme Implosion runs every Monday night, one hour after the aforementioned bigger company's weekly programme, War begins. FTW has grown a cult following, and has gradually been chipping away at War's ratings advantage over Implosion during the one hour head to head. It is highly anticipated by the top brass at FTW, that they will overtake the competition in the ratings battle after Hell On Earth II later on this month.

    FTW World Heavyweight Championship

Mick Foley has held the FTW world title for almost a year, defeating RVD at the inaugural Hell On Earth in a last man standing match - and is to date, the only man to have ever held the title. Foley has fended off all comers, in a variety of different matches. At last night's PPV, he defeated RVD in a ladder match, with thanks to help from his cronies, The New Age Outlaws. A stipulition from that match being that if RVD was unsucessful, he could NEVER get another FTW title shot against Foley.

    FTW Television Championship

This title is currently being held by Tazz, after he defeated Stevie Richards at the December PPV. Tazz is engeged in a best 3 out of 5 series with Stan Hansen for the title, with the score currently tied at two falls to one in favour of Hansen - with the potential decider to be contested at Hell On Earth II.

    FTW Tag Team Championship

The mysterious team of Raven and Sean O'Haire have become a thorn in the side of the brash, cocky New Age Outlaws, and defeated the Outlaws for the FTW tag titles at the February PPV. The Outlaws, along with Foley, have made the last few months miserable for the tag champs.

On the next edition of Implosion: What will RVD's responce to his defeat at the hands of Mick Foley at last night's PPV be? Tazz and Stan Hansen compete in in their fourth bout out of five for the television championship. More bouts to be announced.

Also, Arnold Schwarzenegger comes to FTW to promote his new flick 'The Governator' - where he plays the role of a Californian governor by day, but by night, he tackles mob culture and other such social evils in the form of a futurestic looking cyborg from the year 2029. Loosely based on a true story.

It gives me great pleasure to give to you the first episode of WWE's Monday Night Volt. Tonight's show comes to you live from Toronto, Ontario. A sell out crowd of 19,000 have arrived to see what should be a fascinating evening.

As the opening theme of Show Me How To Live by Audioslave rings out, fireworks and pyrotechnics grace the arena with a fantastic display. The arena has a new look with a black and gold titantron, giving the place an electric look to it, the ring has also been given a makeover. As the display ends, a sense of gold continuity is felt by the crowd as Shelton Benjamin enters, accompanied by L.T. Taylor. Shelton declares himself 'back and bettter than ever'. As he goes off on a tangeant about his destiny, he is brought to an abrupt halt by the startling scene that is Kane. Still buoyed by the insult by Stephanie (that losing to men half his size via roll ups doesn't really look great on his CV) he is sporting that old black rag above his head and looks as concentrated as ever. With two mid-carders out to prove a point, the opener is going to be quite a contest.

    Match 1
Shelton gained an advantage over Kane by avoiding a big boot, the Big Red Machine's leg got caught in the ropes and benjamin delivered a technically perfect neckbreaker. Kane eventually managed to escape from a figure four leg lock aand begun to clean house slightly, with LT watching at ringside. The match was done when Kane got caught hanging on the turnbuckle too long, Benjamin rose up and nailed a Paydirt on him in spectacular fashion. LT Taylor managed to hold Kane back from hitting a flying clothesline just long enough but did get a shiner for his troubles. As Benjamin celebrated his win at the titantron, Kane blew a fuse, assaulting 3 cameramen on his way out.

Backstage, an expressionless Bull Buchanan is being interviewed by Michael Cole. Bull, dressed in his old RTC gear stated that the reason they never achieved full censorship in the past was because of past leaders. In the upcoming weeks, he aims to display how brute force will change the nature of the WWE forever.

    Match 2
Candice Michelle takes on Victoria with WWE directors at ringside. They will determine whether or not the divas deserve to wrestle for a championship on the grandest stage of them all. Just before the match is due to start, Lillian Garcia announces (with some disbelief) that this match will now be a lingerie pillowfight. The women strip to their bra and panties and each take a pillow that has been assigned to them. Before Victoria can get to hers, candice charges for her and connects with a modified lou thesz press full of bitch slaps. Victoria eventually gains the upper hand as she cracks Candice in the skull with her pillow (which seemed a little heavy). Even though she seemed to be out cold, Victoria, desparate to send a message to the onlooking directors, nails the widows peak before the 3-count.

After her hand is raised in victory, she blows a kiss at the directors and heads back up the ramp.

    Match 3
Tonight's main event is an enthralling brawl between two fantastic tag teams. Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge, The Nasty Boys make their way to the ring. With Wrestlemania approaching, they look determined to go into the grandest stage of them all with the tag team gold around their waists. Facing them are the current champions, The Public Enemy.

Quite evenly matched, the evening takes a turn for the worse John Cena arrives to the ring. He levels all four superstars with equally powerful chairshots. The match is declared a no-contest.

In the ring, he parades himself as the 'untouchable one', declaring that he will retire the current WWE Championship after Wrestlemania due to the fact that he is in a league of his own. He laughs at this 'excuse for a main event'. Suddenly, GM Stephanie McMahon's music plays. She tells Cena that he is right to state that he has been in a league of his own for the last while but it was her job to restore some dignity to the WWE Title. She declared that Cena would indeed have an opponent for Wrestlemania and that he would need no introduction. Cena replied by saying that no superstar could come close to him, to which Stephanie calmly stated; He's not a Superstar, he's a LEGEND.

With that, Harley Race's iconic music hits the arena, the crowd go wild as he heads for the ring, charging at Cena. Cena flees but is thrown back into the ring by means of The Nasty Boys. Race hits Cena with a Cradle Suplex and raises his hand. The show draws to a close with JR shouting 'CENA'S WORLD HAS JUST BEEN ROCKED!!'

I hope you all enjoyed this weeks edition of Volt, tune in again =]

    Pro Wrestling Combat

    Roster:
    Steve Austin
    Brian Pillman
    Kenta Kobashi
    Yuji Nagata
    Hiroshi Tanahashi
    Magnum TA
    Brad Armstrong
    Tyler Black
    Jimmy Jacobs
    Gail Kim
    Molly Holly
    Frank Shamrock
    Lance Cade
    Trevor Murdoch
    Santo
    Takeshi Morishima

Pro Wrestling Combat (PWC) was formed in an attempt to create a truly universal brand of pro wrestling for a global audience. In the beginning, events alternated between the US, Japan and Mexico. The respective national stars of these three countries, Steve Austin, Kenta Kobashi and Santo, would only wrestle in their own country twice a year in a headline spot, guaranteeing massive attendances for six shows each year

PWC succeeded in getting these shows broadcast on MTV, initially only in the countries where the events were held, but gradually spreading to more international syndicates as the people demanded their chance to view what had already taken three nations by storm. As this worldwide interest became apparent, PWC decided to take their show on the road in a year long experiment, culminating in their biggest show yet, a worldwide PPV entitled "The Finale". The location of the PPV was to be decided by a tournament featuring one wrestler from every country visited by PWC in the run up to the event

Santo took a leave of absence at the start of the global tour in order to appear in his first fully international film, "Santo vs the Possessed Aliens". Filming for the project was delayed several times and it was unknown if Santo would be able to make the journey out to join PWC for any of the tour

There have been two titles in PWC since its inception. Those titles are the PWC World Title and the PWC World Tag Team Titles. The current world champion is Hiroshi Tanahashi and the current tag team champions are to be revealed later because I haven't picked one of them yet :pac: (Just for reference's sake, I'm taking the current time to be May and the PPV to be in June)

Morishima won the world title from Austin a year and a half ago and dominated the main event, decimating all challengers until finally being derailed by Tanahashi six months ago

Tanahashi had been a big fan favourite and the roof blew off Budokan Hall when he pinned Morishima's shoulders to the mat for the three count. But since winning the title he has started to act disrespectful towards his opponents, something that the fans haven't appreciated. His youthful confidence has turned into a growing cockiness and this has attracted the attention of Kobashi, a man whose legacy is built on honour. Kobashi had not been performing to his best and was told that if he wanted a shot against Tanahashi then he had to put a streak of wins together. Kobashi rose to the challenge and has now emerged as the number one contender for the world title. The fight for the belt is set for The Finale and Kobashi has stated that he isn't just out to win the title for himself, he's also seeking justice for all the fans who feel like Tanahashi turned his back on them once he achieved glory

After losing the world title 18 months ago, Steve Austin shifted his focus in a different direction. He reached out to former tag partner and best friend Brian Pillman, who was stuck in a rut in a large American promotion. Austin wanted to have some fun again, raise hell and give a helping hand to a friend. Pillman signed with PWC and reformed the Hollywood Blondes with Austin. The duo had a very successful run at the top of the tag division, holding the titles for most of last year

Austin and Pillman lost the tag titles three months ago and on the next televised show, during an interview with the partners discussing what went wrong for them in the match, Pillman began to blame Austin for the loss and accused him of holding him back and piggybacking off of his popularity to reinvent himself in the tag division. This didn't sit well with Austin, but before he got a chance to say his piece Pillman viciously attacked him and left him laying on the interview set. This has led to a series of matches between the two that I will detail later

Since losing the world title Morishima has joined forces with Cade and Murdoch, who he has previous history with, having trained with Harley Race, the man who trained Murdoch. The trio have given each other a helping hand when needed, often competing in six-man tags together. The group have worked well together, three bullies overpowering their opponents

There has not been any womens division in PWC up to this point, but after vocal online support for such a thing management has decided to take the steps in giving the fans what they want. They contacted two of the most well respected female wrestlers around, Gail Kim and Molly Holly, and offered them a spot on The Finale to showcase just what they can do, with the provision that if their match is deemed a success then PWC will add a full-time womens division complete with world title. Both women jumped at the opportunity and that match is set for The Finale

A year ago PWC completed the signing of Yuji Nagata, who had taken a hiatus from pro wrestling in order to forge an MMA career. A talented amateur wrestler, representing Japan at international level (his brother also won an Olympic silver medal in the sport), Nagata's previous forays into MMA were less than successful, getting knocked out early twice by Fedor Emelianenko and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic, both considered to arguably the greatest fighters in the world at the time that he fought them (that sentence is all true by the way, just in case anyone unfamilar with this thinks I'm making this up as well :pac:)

Nagata had decided to put all his effort into MMA and with his wrestling base he managed to attain a commendable win-loss record, headlining some events in Japan and winning an openweight grand prix. His hunger for pro wrestling never went away though, and when he saw what PWC was accomplishing he made the move back to where he had achieved his most success. He has helped to attract new fans to the promotion through his fame in MMA, with his most high-profile feud being with Magnum TA

I will go into further detail into the background to the matches at The Finale in future posts, as well as focusing on the members of my roster who I haven't talked about yet

    FWE MAYHEM
9pm: FWE Mayhem begins as the pyro and Ram It Home by We Are Scientists comes blasting out of the PA system, in the sold out O2 Arena Dublin. We are welcomed to the first instalment of FWE Mayhem a weekly show full of wrestling action.
Segment 1: We are all ready for the premiere edition of The Cutting Edge. “You Think You Me” blares around the Arena as the World Heavyweight Champion walks down the ramp to a chorus of boo’s. Edge welcomes all the fans to the top talk show and talks how he walked into EXPERIENCED the Champ and walked out as the champ (which would lead to a Hardy Hardy Hardy chant breaking out in the arena) . Edge would say it doesn’t matter how much they chant his name he wont be coming out since he is not the guest of honour on the show . This would lead edge to give people a clue who his guest is she was married to a rock star , starred in a personal movie and was the star of the biggest tv show in the 90’s..................................... Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome Ms........Pamela........Anderson. So Hott by Kid Rock would start playing as she walked down to the ring and hung Edge. Edge asked her how it felt to be in the FWE an she said it was a honour but what was even more of an honour was that she has entered and new relationship with a former multiple World Champ and a current World Champ and will be in his corner for all his matches. This would lead to both Edge and Pamela kissing. Edge would say he as a boost of energy and decides to have a open challenge for any member of the current FWE roster........................”Ohhhhhhhh Yeahhhhhhhhhhh” out comes the new FWE tag champs and it looks like Creed is going to take up the challenge.

Match 1: Edge w/Pamela Anderson Vs Creed w/Jay Lethal (Non Title Match)
Quick paced match with Creed getting most of the offense earlier in the match until Pamela would distract Creed as he was on the top turnbuckle allowing Edge to capitalise and hit him with a back drop off the turnbuckle. [Cut to commercial break]
[Back from Commercial Break] Edge has Creed in a sleeper hold. Creed tries to get out of it until edge counters with a sit down neck breaker and getting a close 3 count but creed would raise his arm. Edge picks him up and slams him down and heads for the turnbuckle and jumps off but Creed would raise his knee and edge would slam into the knees. The ref starts the count with both me getting up at 5. Creed would get the offense for the next few mins with a lot of aerial moves catching edge of guard. Just as it looked like Creed was gonna hit the Creed DDT Pamela would get up on the apron to cause interference but the ref would decide to remove her from ringside but she would not go without a fight so Lethal picked her up and brought her to the back. During this time Edge would hit a low blow (while the ref was dealing with Pamela) and a spear for the 3 count. As Edge was celebrating Jeff Hardys music hit and Jeff ran down to the ring and attacked Edge. Jeff would spear edge and continue to hit edge until edge would escape running up the ramp . Jeff would raise the WHC title above his head as the crowd chanted Hardys name. [Commercial Break]
[Back from Commercial Break] a Re-cap of what went down just before the break is shown.
It is announced the Main Event would be the new IC champ teaming up with Hernandez to take on the former IC champ and a partner of his choosing , but if he doesn’t have a partner it becomes a 2 vs 1 handicap match.

Match 2: Number 1 Contenders match for the FWE Tag Team Titles
    Beer Money Vs Kiyoshi/Sheik
Music hits outcomes Beer Money and then followed by Kiyoshi/Sheik
Match starts with Storm vs Kiyoshi. Top tag team match as both teams proved why they deserved to be the tag champs , lot of tags made between both teams and very close finishes. At the end of the day Beer Moneys experience would come into play as they would take advantage of a dispute between the other team . While Sheik was thrown out of the ring it would lead to a 2 on 1 match with Kiyoshi as he would battle both Storm and Roode but soon after Kiyoshi would be caught with a DWI for the 3 count.
After the match there was a verbal assault between Kiyoshi and Sheik , while Beer Money celebrated up the ramp. Seconds later a Montage was shown saying there would be a new Tag Team coming soon to FWE with a difference. All 4 men working wondering who it could be.
Montage of what happened at EXPERIENCED (Song = Devour by Shinedown)
Up next the Main Event as we see Kennedy looking around the back for a partner until he see’s a door a smiles and walks in but who will it be or will they accept the offer, Find out after the break
    [Commercial Break]
    [Back from Commercial Break]
Swagger enters the arena with his new IC belt to a chorus of boo’s as the cocky champ walks to the ring. Out next to a more Boo’s is Hernandez as he shakes hands with Swagger in the middle of the ring. “Mr.Kennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnedy” and out comes Kennedy who looks worried that he might be going into this match on his own. His music dies down and Kennedy is just looking at the entrance for a few seconds until.............................................................................Jeff Hardys music hits to a standing ovation from the crowd in Dublin. Outcomes the Enigma as he walks down the ramp and enters the ring with Kennedy. Both Hernandez and Swagger are shocked to see Hardy as Kennedys partner.
Match starts with Kennedy vs Swagger both men show off their technical skills for the opening moments of the match until Hernandez/Swagger would double team Kennedy until Hardy would make the save and help kennedy, both men would clean house [commercial break]
    [Back from Commercial Break]
Hernandez is in control of Hardy(shows when hardy would miss a whisper in the wind and Hernandez capitalized) with loads of power moves which were weakening hardy. Lots of tags between Swagger and Hernandez . Swagger would try hit a powerslam but Hardy would counter it into a swinging DDT which would lay out Swagger. Both men are down as they try to make the crucial tag Swagger tagged in Hernandez and seconds later Hardy tagged in Kennedy. Kennedy flew into the ring by taking down Hernandez with clothes lines and dropkicks and would get a few shots at Swagger. Kennedy would be in control of Hernandez and went for a Mic Check but was broken by Swagger this allowed to Hernandez to hit a powerbomb. Jeff jumped in and took control over swagger by hitting with a twist of fate. Jeff went for a Swanton bomb but Hernandez attacked him and tried to hit a border toss out of the ring but Kennedy puller Jeff of Hernandez’s shoulders and both men clotheslined him over the rope. This was followed by a mic check on Swagger followed by a swanton bomb but jeff wasn’t the legal man so he hit a crossbody over the rope onto Hernandez and Kennedy would make the 1-2-3 for the win.
After the match Edge would come out of nowhere and spear Hardy as Kennedy had his back turned. Once kennedy turned around edge ran out of the ring. Just as Edge was about to the back the Arena went black , until the words “Open Your Eyes.....The Captain is Coming” and then the lights came back on with everyone scratching their heads as Mayhem went off the air.
Who is this Captain that is coming to the FWE? Will we find out next week? What will happen with Jeff and Edge with both men wanting to be the WHC? And who is this new Team coming to FWE?
To find out the answers to these questions tune into next weeks Mayhem.

PS FWE have officially beaten the BWA in ratings this week. With FWE having 1 million more people tuning into Mayhem. Let’s keep it up fans , See all of you next week.

    NWA Breakout Aftermath:

The following is an emergency press release from our website NWA.com following the shocking events of our historic first PPV NWA breakout.

    New Champion!

Ladies and gentlemen, history has been made as the record breaking, two year World Title reign of Ricky Steamboat has finally ended. After a sensational Iron Man Match that had fans in the Ted Turner Arena on their edge of their seats, it was Eddie Guerrero who emerged the victor by a single pinfall to none. The internet is abuzz with hype after this unbelievable hour’s action that has had fans the world over raving about the display of technical wrestling put on by Guerrero and Steamboat. Dave Meltzer is already lauding the match as “every bit as good as anything Kobashi et al in AJPW produced in the 90’s and comparable to Steamboats finest work with Flair.”

    Controversial aftermath

Regrettably, however it was not this historic occasion that was on the minds of the 15,000 fans that were in attendance as they left the arena last night, but rather the regrettable events that followed.

Having lead a rather chequered career to this point in the NWA, Eddy Guerrero gained the respect of fans across the world through his unbelievable performance last night. The massive roar that greeted his win, was nothing to the ovation he received as he and Steamboat embraced in the ring after the match, spent from their superhuman exertions of the previous hour. The dignified Steamboat, realising he had been beaten by the better man, raised the hand of the Latino Superstar in victory and knelt before him, placing the coveted title he had worked so hard to elevate around the waist of his rival. Grabbing the microphone Guerrero paid tribute to Steamboat, praising his hard work in putting NWA on the map, his magnanimity in defeat and offering a rematch any time he choose to do so. He then held the belt aloft to the 15,000 fans in attendance, telling them this was their title as much as his, that winning the title in his home state was the pinnacle of his caeer and pledging to uphold the dignity and heritage of the belt to the best of his ability and further the astonishing legacy that Steamboat had begun. With this the locker-room emptied and carried Guerrero aloft from the ring. It seemed like the perfect moment, the beginning of a new chapter in NWA history and a touching way to close out the company’s hugely successful first PPV. That is, until the night was tarnished forever….

With Steamboat alone, exhausted in the ring, it was now time for the NWA faithful to show their adoration for their fallen hero. A massive chant of “Thank You Ricky” echoed around the Turner arena as Steamboat rose to his feet, tears in his eyes and prepared to leave the ring. Although bitterly disappointed by his defeat, this night, the night that the company he built from nothing with his own blood, sweat and tears finally announced its arrival on the world stage with its first PPV, would be a night he would never forget. The building was plunged into chaos, however, as the lights suddenly went out and the arena was plunged into darkness. Confusion reigned both in the stands and backstage. A few moments later, the lights were turned back on again and the arena was reduced to a shocked silence. Lying unconscious in the ring with a pool of blood flowing from his head was Steamboat, with a sledge hammer lying beside him. On the big screens dotted around the ring were the words “THE GAME IS UP FOR NWA.”

Speculation is rife as to the possible perpetrators of this attack. Who would possibly want to ruin the NWA’s finest hour on PPV? How badly injured is Ricky Steamboat? The fall-out is sure to be huge as we return to TV on Tuesday night, when the Board of Directors will address the fans and attempt to get to the bottom of this atrocity.

    Also on next weeks show

    - An interview with new champion Eddy Guerrero

    - The in-ring debut of some more imports from New Japan

    - Will the Fabulous Freebirds finally announce the identity of their much vaunted third member?

    - Who is next in line to challenge the new champion?

    - Tag team champions Rock n Roll Express will be in action

    - NWA officials will have more details of some very interesting talent negotiations. You’ll never guess whose coming next, but the only way to find out is to tune in at 9Pm on Tuesday night!

Welcome To Episode 1 Of “Wrestlecade III Preview”

This is the show where in each episode we'll show you the history behind each match that will take place at the biggest show of the year, Wrestlecade III.

We start with the episode of JWA: Tuesday Night Cooked following the Rise To Glory PPV. Former 2 time JWA World Heavyweight Champion and 1 time JWA Tag Team Champion "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase hits the ring.

    dibiase.jpg

Ted talks about how lucky David and Kevin Von Erich were to become JWA Tag Team Champions by beating himself and IRS at Rise To Glory but now that IRS has entered the tournament to crown the first JWA US-TV Champion that has just been announced he wont be going after the Tag Titles again just yet. Instead of also entering the tournament himself, Ted states he has much bigger plans and to carry them out he has hired someone back...

    virgil.jpg

"All of you people here tonight are very poor and getting even more poor with each day. I can tell by just looking at you all you're struggling to buy food and feed your families. I, on the other hand, remain unaffected. In fact, I have more money than ever and being the kind man I am I'm going to offer someone every week a much needed lifeline. If you can last just 1 minute in the ring with my bodyguard here without getting thrown out, I'll clear all your debts. If you fail, however, I get control over everything you own. A generous proposal I'm sure you'll agree"

For three weeks Ted holds his challenge and each time just before the minute is up he either distracts the participants or tampers with the timer to ensure they fail. After the third person fails someone walks out approaching the ring. It's...

    barack-obama-beach.jpg

Barack Obama tells Ted that the way he's exploiting the American people in a time of crisis is immoral and he wont stand for it. Barack tells Ted he'll take part in his challenge but if he wins Ted has to stop his challenges. If he looses he wont stand in his way any longer. Barack gets thrown out at exactly 1 minute, meaning Ted has to stop.

The following week Ted comes out claiming that the clock was wrong and Barack didn't last for 1 minute so he lost. Out comes the president again and he says he had a feeling Ted would say that so he had a word with GM Jim Cornette and this will be settled at Wrestlecade in the ring, one on one, no over the top rope stipulation, no time limit, the way things should be settled. "Ok then, me against you at Wrestlecade, I..." "Oh no, it wont be me in there against you. I'm no fool" replies Barack, walking away. "Then who?" "Look behind you." Ted looks around, seeing the debuting

    The-Undertaker-poster200_1_.jpg

who beats up Ted and Virgil, giving the latter a chokeslam and Ted a tombstone.

The next week is a squash match between The Undertaker and Virgil. One sided except for a small portion in the middle where Virgil got in a few moves The Undertaker gets the win after a tombstone.

In the final Cooked before Wrestlecade III there's a tag match between The Undertaker and Obama v Ted and Virgil. It starts with Barack and Virgil in the ring with the president and 'taker getting the upper hand until The Million Dollar Man gets tagged in. FWE MAHYHEM
    Episode 2

Video package of last weeks episode is aired as we go live to the sold out O2 arena in Dublin. Pyro goes off and Mayhem theme song hits the arena. We are welcomed back to FWE and things will kick off with a bang as Kiyoshi and Sheik have challenged the new FWE team to a match tonight , Also a number 1 contenders match for the IC as Hernandez will go up against his former friend Mr . Kennedy and the Main Event will be a non title match between Jeff Hardy and the World Heavyweight Champion Edge , with the winner choosing the type of match for the next ppv at Lethal Defiance in 2 weeks time.

    Opening Match
Jay Lethal w/Creed vs James Storm w/Robert Roode
Solid back and forth match with both men representing there teams before the Tag Title Match in 3 weeks at Lethal Defiance. Lethal had the match won until Roode would get up on the apron but Creed would get him down and both men started to brawl , as this was happening Storm would take the padding off the top turnbuckle. Lethal would try and hit a running splash but Storm would move out off the way sending Lethal into the exposed turnbuckle and as he turned around storm would hit the superkick for the 3 count.Looks like the challengers have the champs number with this win.

    Backstage Segment
Edge is shown walking up and down the hall with Pamela screaming " why do i need to face Jeff again since i beat him at EXPERIENCED and whats worse is if he wins he can choose the type of match" Pamela said " to calm down and she has a plan as she walks away from Edge.

    Commercial Break

    Back From Commercial Break

    Match 2
Sheik & Kiyoshi are in the ring and want this new team to get out to the ring now. Moments later Taylor Wilde and O.D.B came rushing out from the curtain and ran to the ring as they starred down there opponents . Sheik started to laugh and said they knew it would be a womens team coming to FWE and had back up. Sheik told them they werent the only womens team to debut in FWE....................Outcomes Mickie James and Melina . Sheik said " He did say he would challenge the new team but he didnt say they would be facing them" So now it looks like its gonna be Wilde/ODB vs Melina/James. This match really showed off the talent and skills of all 4 women in the end Melina would get the pin on Wilde after hitting her with the California Dream for the 3 count. After the match it was a 4 on 2 assault until as it looked like Sheik was going to hit ODB with a chair Kiyoshi took the chair off him and hit him with the Lighting Flash as both Mickie and Melina looked shocked until they ran back down the ramp. Kiyoshi would help ODB and Taylor to there feet as Melina/Mickie and Sheik looked on from the ramp. Im guessing this means that the tag team of Sheik and Kiyoshi is over.

    Commerical Break

    Back From Commercial Break

    Backstage Segment
Sheik/Melina/Mickie are shown walking backstage not amused with has just happened , so sheik demands a match with Kiyoshi .Sheik screams "You Dont Mess With The Middle Eastern Nightmare"

MNo:1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title
This match was a personal one because Hernandez cost Mr.Kennedy the IC at EXPERIENCED. Kennedy went straight for Hernandez the minute the bell rang. Both men tried finish off their opponent with there finishers but neither man could but the other away. In the closing minutes of the match both men were battling it out for a pin or a submission the current IC champ Jack Swagger would hit the ring a hit both Kennedy and Hernandez with the belt causing a double DQ. But the champ didnt stay long as he ran to the back straight away. As Swagger got to the back he ran into the GM of FWE Furious Red he said he had a announcement regarding the next ppv "Lethal Defiance" . Since the IC No:1 Contenders match was disrupted he said that unfortunately neither contenders would face Swagger 1 on 1 at the ppv (much to Swaggers delight)..........But instead of giving Swagger the night off at the ppv he would now defend the title in a Triple Threat against both Hernandez and Kennedy. Swagger would plead with the GM to change but he kept his decision

Up Next Jeff Hardy vs Edge

New Match announced for next week
    **Kiyoshi vs Sheik**

    Main Event
Edge(c) w/Pamela vs Jeff Hardy Non Title
Whoever wins this match will get to choose the stipulation for the title match at Lethal Defiance. Very intense match , during the match Edge tried to run away but Hardy would run after him and throw him back into the ring as the matched continued. In the closing moments of the match Pamela would throw a chair into the ring and get up on the apron. Seeing this jeff walked over to tell her to get down but as he did this Pamela would throw herself off the apron and complained to the ref that she had hurt her ankle. As she had the ref distracted Edge would pick up the chair and as Hardy would turn around he would be met with a massive chair shot. As Pamela told the ref to look at the pin it looked like Edge would win but just as the ref's hand was coming down for the 3 count somehow Hardys shoulder would lift up in just in time. With this Edge would get up in anger and go for a spear on Hardy , as Edge ran Hardy would counter into a Twist Of Fate using Edge's momentum ,Hardy would then go up to the top rope hit a Swanton bomb . Just as it looked like Hardy was gonna get the win Beer Money Inc would hit the ring and attack Hardy as once again Pamela would distract the ref. As this happened BMI would hit a DWI on Hardy. Seeing this Lethal Consequences burst down the ramp to take out BMI and they brawled to the back. As Hardy was making it back to his feet Edge would capitalise and hit a spear for the 1-2-3. As Edge was celebrating over Jeff he announced that at "Lethal Defiance" the Title match would be ................................ No Holds Barred Match. Moments Later once again the lights would go out in the Arena as the words "Open Your Eyes.....................Im Coming" As this frustrated Edge he demand that this person comes to Mayhem next week so he can beat him cause he is sick and tired of this message showing up every time he is in the ring.

    Current Roster:
    1st pick = Edge
    2nd pick = Jeff Hardy
3rd pick = Beer Money INC
    4th pick = Mr.Kennedy
    5th pick = Hernandez

    BWA: Awakening 3 weeks away

The Show opens with a short recap of last weeks show.

    (Carlito's Cabana)
Carlito interviews The American Dragon Bryan Danielson
    wwe-carlito.jpg...........dragon9yh.jpg

Carlito opens the 4th last show of BWA's america's tour as usual by introducing 'The American Dragon whom he says has a message for The Dynamite Kid

Danielson says he hasnt forgotten the great battles the two off them had during the past year, be it singles matches, No DQ matches or Ladder matches and he knows the fans havent either as their ladder match was voted BWA MOTY for 2008. He hasnt forgotten that it was the Dynamite Kid that put him on the shelf for the past 2 months either. Even last week he cost him his No.1 contender shot, distracting him vs Davey boy Smith, but no more he says, its time for payback. he goes on to mention that he met BWA chairman Bounty Hunter earlier today and although Dynamite Kid already has a match tonight as part of the no.1 contender elimination competition he agreed that should Dynamite lose tonight Danielson will get his wish and face him 1on1 for the Intercontinental title at BWA:Awakening since Steve Corino will now be facing Abyss. Then just as The American Dragon is about to reveal his prediction for that match should it happen he is interrupted by the music of...The British Bulldogs

Dynamite grabs the mic and reminds Danielson that the last time they met he was the one able to walk out of the arena and that last week his tag partner beside him (Davey boy Smith) beat him clean. Here he stops himself, and says thats not why they are out here, they are here to steal Carlitos thunder and introduce the newest draftees to the BWA, the team he describes as the future of the BWA The Canadian Bulldogs DH Smith & Tyson Kidd

    tn_Harry%20&%20TJ.jpg

DH grabs the mic, thanks his dad for the intro and simply states that at Awakening they will win the world tag team titles!...but for now they have their first BWA match to prepare for
    Awesome Kong vs Aja Kong

    Awesome-Kong.jpgaja2.jpg

No Contest: In a prelude to Awakening when team mates Awesome & Aja kong will face each other along with Trish Stratus, Lita and any other female wrestler who may get drafted to the BWA, the two women are forced to face each other. It isnt long however before this match becomes an all out brawl though involving Stratus & Lita who had been watching the match from ringside.

quick promo for BWA:Awakening is aired. Limited tickets are still available

Bruno Sammartino vs The One Man Gang(special commentator Muhammad Ali)
    BrunoSammartino1.JPGonemangang.jpg

Bruno Sammartino Def The One Man Gang:In a similar bout to last week where Sammartino defeat the other half of the Twin Towers Bruno gives a very polished performance and makes quick work of the big man despite the added distraction of Ali at rigside. After the match is over Ali leaves the announce table and he and Sammartino have a face to face in the ring almost resuting in a physical altercation.

A promo is shown depicting some of the training Ali has undertaken in preperation for his first ever wrestling match at BWA:Awakening

Steve Corino & Matt Hardy vs The Canadian Bulldogs (tag-match)

    13.jpgMattHardy3.jpg02.jpg

The Canadian Bulldods Def Corino & Hardy:This is a very even match as once again Corino and Hardy form a very cohesive team. The Bulldogs pull off some very impressive double team moves as they attempt to make their mark on their debut, but with DH Smith isolated from his tag partner Hardy gains control before tagging in Corino. However while Corino is dishing out a beatdown Abyss's Music hits completley distracting Corino who is punished here by Smith with a quick rollup for the 3 count.

Short backstage interview with The British Bulldog Davey boy Smith, who speaks about his ambition to become no.1 contender and BWA champion, his pride at witnesing his son debut in the BWA and how he would be in his tag team partners corner tonight.

Big Van Vader vs The Dynamite Kid(no.1 contender elimination match)

    vader.jpgDynamiteKid_TomBillington-8.jpg

Vader Def Dynamite Kid via pinfall:Despite a significant size disadvantage the Dynamite Kid had control over the staart of this match keeping the big man off his feet and applying numerous locks to further target the area. After a risky venture to the top rope goes wrong for the Englishman Vader has a chance to capitalise and doesent miss it delivering move after power move to him. After each of the latter moves be them Bearhug, Powerslam or Powerbomb Vader can be seen shouting to Davey boy Smith at ringside "this will be you at Awakening". Vader eventually gets the pin after delivering a Moonsault to the near motionless Dynamite Kid

Just before the show goes off air and while The British Bulldog helps The Dynamite Kid to his feet Bryan Danielson's music hits and he comes out from backstage to say something he says he forgot earlier "Dynamite.. at BWA:Awakening, our match for the Intercontinental Title is going to be a 30min Iron Man match!"

Colt Cabana & Rey Mysterio vs. Christopher Daniels & Evan Bourne
Result: A match which produced a lot of aerial antics from all competitors. It results in a 619 from Mysterio on Daniels, while Cabana and Bourne grapple on the outside. Mysterio then goes for the pin, 1-2-3. The bell rings and Mysterio & Cabana celebrate in the ring.
Mysterio leaves the arena, while Cabana slowly make his way to the back, he is taken down by a mystery man….it’s Ace Steel!! The refs rush out to pull him away, but Cabana is out cold. Steel makes his way out through the crowd with a smile on his face while paramedics stretcher Cabana to the back.

Result: The match starts off with Rhodes and Young, with Rhodes getting the upper hand on Young. Jarrett tags in, and demands that Michaels be tagged in, and he does. The two grapple in the ring as the two tag teams look on. Jarrett applies the Sleeper hold, but Michaels eventually gets out of it. Michaels suplexes Jarrett, then climbs up to the top rope to perform a diving elbow drop, only to be met by the mat as Rhodes and DiBiase pull Jarrett out of the ring to safety. Young and Williams then proceed to beat on Cody and Ted outside the ring before rolling Jarrett back in to face HBK. All six men end up in the ring, the ref tries to get the four illegal competitors out so the match can continue but is taken out by a elbow by Jarrett. Young & Rhodes and Williams & DiBiase continue to grapple as they all clear the ring. The ref is still out and Jarrett takes the opportunity to use his guitar and he does, using the Acoustic Equalizer on HBK and goes for the cover. Jarrett then gets the ref to count, 1-2-3.

    Show ends.

What will the consequences of Jarrett’s actions be? How will Cabana react to Steels invasion? What will XWE GM have in store, with the upcoming PPV just weeks away?

    3477555385_7e9126f688.jpg?v=0

    Week 1 show here.
This week's MNG show comes live from Detroit city.

The show opened with Jake, Shane and Bam Bam coming down to a chorus of boos. Shane said Big Show was feeling the effects of last week's beating to Bam Bam and would not be here. He said Monday Night Grappling was seeing a new era. Roberts got on the mic and cut a promo about his need to become WWE Champion. He said it consumes him. He said it was only a matter of time before he would beat The Rock for the vacant WWE Title. He said that he had gotten inside The Rock's head with Damien and that Damien was the truth. Jake said tonight he needed a tough competitor to prepare himself for the biggest match of his career. He said he had chosen the toughest guy in the company - Crash Holly. Jake laughed as the fans booed.

At this point The Rock came out. He said he wasn't surprised that the show opened with a long-winded promo by Shane and Jake 'The Worm'. The fans chanted 'Jake The Worm'. The Rock said he'd heard Shane and Jake had quite a celebration and turned towards the titantron. He showed a lot of photoshopped pictures of a semi-naked Shane and Roberts laughing with a snake. The crowd popped for this. Roberts got upset and said if Rock wanted to have payback he could have it now. Rock said he would get revenge on his terms and guaran-damn-teed he would have his payback by the end of the night.

After the break Hardcore Holly came out and again said he wanted a tag title match at Wrestlemania. He said Crash had beaten one half of the tag champs and he had beaten Santino so it should be the Hollys vs Hurricane and Rosey at Mania. Santino came out and said he deserved a title shot and not albino hillbilly boys like the Hollys. At this point Hassan interrupted. He said he was sick of their grievances since the only one with a real grievance around here was him. He showed footage of himself beating up Mr T last week. He said he wanted a match tonight against one of them. Santino fled the ring so it was Hassan vs Hardcore.

Match #1 Muhammad Hassan b. Hardcore Holly

Hassan won with his finisher after a low blow. Hassan continued attacking after the bell but Mr T made the save to a big pop. He grabbed the mic and said he pitied the fool who tried to mess with him. He said he wanted a match with Hassan at Wrestlemania as Hassan backed away.

A trailer played announcing the debut of the Junkyard Dog soon.

The Rock was shown backstage. He ran into Rosey or as Rock called him 'Grimace'. Rock asked where the 'Hamburgler' was. Hurricane flew on the scene. Rock said to relax as he didn't need Chicken McNuggets or anything. He said he needed Hurricane to do him a favour. Hurricane said he had no problems fighting on the side of justice.

A video package of what happened to Big Show last week was shown. Show was interviewed live from his home where he said he was convalescing with some injured ribs. He said even though doctors wanted him to take more time off he would be back next week. He said he would channel his pain into beating Shane and Bam Bam's ass. He said one day he would get his WWE Title back but right now his priority was making Shane and Bam Bam pay. Shane and Bam Bam were watching the footage and looked worried.

Crash was shown talking worriedly with Beth backstage. Santino walked by laughing. Beth asked him what he was laughing at. Santino said he didn't know what was funnier, watching Hardcore Holly get his ass kicked or later getting to watch Crash get his ass kicked. Crash went to attack Santino but Beth held him back. Beth called Santino an idiot. Rosey then walked by. He said Santino shouldn't be laughing because the two would be having a match next as payback for Santino hitting Rosey last week. Santino said this was baloney.

    Match #2 Rosey b. Santino

Hurricane wasn't at ringside. Neither was Beth. Rosey won clean with a big splash. Santino got on the mic and said he didn't feel he could trust anyone. He said soon he would call in a favour from someone he could trust.

A video package played revolving around the number 9 ending with the words 'What's mine is mine' followed by 'All will be revealed next week...'

Crash and Beth were again shown backstage. Crash said not even watching Santino get beat up could cheer him up. Beth still seemed puzzled by the video package. Then Jake Roberts walked by. He said tonight he was going to humiliate Crash. He eyed up Beth and said afterwards he might celebrate with her. He walked off laughing.

Match # 3 Jake 'The Snake b. Crash Holly

This was a short match with Shane and Bam Bam watching from ringside. Roberts took him down quickly and worked his back before finishing him with the DDT. After the match Jake went under the ring to get his bag. He opened it but had a look of confusion on his face. He poured out the bag's contents and inside was not Damien but hundreds of worms. The crowd again chanted 'Jake The Worm'. Jake started screaming where was Damien.

The Rock appeared on the titantron live from a bridge in Detroit smiling. The fans chanted his name. The Rock said he'd got help from a friend and done a little switch. He held up a bag with Damien in it. The Rock told Roberts if he thought The Rock was scared he was mistaken because The Rock ain't scared of nobody. Rock said he wasn't an expert on animals and so wasn't sure if snakes could swim but that there was only one way to find out. The Rock hurled the bag into the water and there was a big splash. Roberts went ballistic. The Rock said Damien wasn't the truth, the truth was that at Wrestlemania he'd whoop Jake Roberts' candy ass and become WWE Champion. 'If ya smellll what The Rock is cooking'. The show closed with Roberts beside himself with rage.

    Next Time...

    - How will Jake Roberts react to his snake Damien being tossed over the bridge by The Rock?

    - What will The Big Show have in store for Shane and Bam Bam?

    - Will Hassan except Mr T's challenge for a match at Wrestlemania?

    - Who is the mystery person set to 'reveal all' next week?

Plus don't miss the debut of JYD and much, much more next time on Monday Night Grappling!

    NWA TV Report for 1.3.09

    NWA_LOGO_A_0562.jpg

Following on from the shocking conclusion to out first PPV NWA Breakout, tonights TV show is possibly the most eagerly anticipated in NWA history.

    - Who was behind the shocking attack on Ricky Steamboat at the conclusion of Sunday’s PPV?

    - What was the meaning behind the cryptic message “The Game is up for the NWA,” left on the big screens of the Ted Turner Arena?

    - Competition has never been so intense in the NWA. With the recent influx of highly decorated legends from overseas into the company, there are now several contendors who can legitimately claim to be next in line to challenge for the NWA title. With this in mind the NWA Booking Committe have come up with a novel idea to decide who will challenge Eddy Guerrero for the World Title at the next PPV. Eight Superstars will compete in four singles matches tonight, live on NWA TV. Then next week the four winners of these matches will compete on next week's TV main event in a four man eliminated match! The sole survivor will be the undisputed #1 Contendor for the World Title.

    - The competitors have been chosen and draw made as follows:

Lex Luger Vs Bam Bam Terry Gordy

    Nikita Koloff Vs Konnan

Michael "PS" Hayes Vs Kensuke Sasaki

Tiger Mask Vs El Hijo del Santo

The NWA TV show opens without the normal pyro effects and musical intro. Instead the Chairman of the NWA Board stands alone, grave faced in the centre of the ring. As he addresseds the sold out Ted Turner Arena, images of the shocking conclusion to NWA Breakout are shown on screen. Viewers at home see still photos of Eddy Guerreros Title celebration, Steambopat lying in a pool of blood in the ring, the shocked faces of the fans in attendance and the image of the crypticwords "the Game is up for the NWA" that have sensationalised the wrorld of wrestling and left fans scratching their heads and speculating wildly as to their meaning.

“Ladies and gentleman, the following is a prepared statement on behalf of the NWA Board in response to the events of Sunday night at NWA breakout.

First of all, the board of the NWA wuld like to thank each and every fan who purchased our inaugural PPV, NWA Breakout on Sunday last. Financuially, the PPv was a stunning success and set a North American record for a debut PPV by a wrestling company in terms of both PPV buys and spped of live ticket sales. The NWA has now been established firmly on the world stage as a force to be reckoned with in professional wrestling and we, the board extend our gratitude and appreciation to those loyal fans who have this dream a reality.

However the overwhelming success of the event has been totally over shadowed by the sickening events of the conclusion to the pay-per-View. Ricky Seamboat, the heart and soul of our great company was attacked in a cowardly and vicious manner. Ricky was rushed to hospital, suffering a serious concussion. Three days later, he remains in hospital under the watchful eye of Medical professionals and his loving family. Such is the severity of his injuries that at this stage it is uncertain whether he will ever wrestle again. The Board of the NWA extends our best wishes to Ricky and his family at this time. Out thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the perpetrator or perpetrators of this heinous act, the Board of the NWA has a very clear and simple message. We have been working day and night to ascertain who cpuld have carried out such an assault. We WILL find out who you are and you will be punished in the most severe way possible for your actions. From day one the Na has sought to carry oput its business in an honourable manner and attacks of this nature cannot and will not tolerated. Not only was the greatest night in the history of our proud company marred by your cowardly act, but you have succeeded in depriving our loyal fans of enjoying the skills of the finest professional wrestler I the world for the foreseeable future. For those reasons and because of the heartbreak and trauma you have caused the Steamboat and indeed the entire NWA family, we will not rest until your identity has been ascertained and the perpetrators brought to justice.

    Thank you for your time.”

Match Number 1. #1 Contendors Title Tournament. "Bam Bam" Terry Gordy Vs Lex Luger

    terry_gordy.jpglex_luger.jpg

A hard hitting big man match sees Terry Gordy showing off the freakish power and amazing agility that makes easily oine of the finest super heavyweights in the history of pro-wrestling against the young, cocky Luger whos association with the evil Russian Nikita Koloff has made him a fugure of hate amongst the fans of the NWA. Such is their hated for Luger that the fans even cheer when Gordy, a member of the usually reviled Fabulous Freebirds gets the three-count after his spetacular running powerslam and powerbomb combination.

    Backstage segment:Luger is angry

Bitterly disappointed at losing out so early in the tournament, Lex Luger throws a tantrum backstage, much to the delight of the audience who's laughter and jeers fill the arena. Luger happens upon the Repo Man Barry Darsow, whos comedy act has recently begun to win the crowd over. Enraged at the sight of a Darsow sniggering at his tantrum "The Total Package" takes his frustrations out on the unfortunate Repo Man, viciously beating him down, before tossing him through a nearby table.

Match Number 2. #1 Contendors Title Tournament. Michael Hayes (w/ Terry Gordy) Vs Kensuke Sasaki (w/Katsuhiko Nakajima)

    hayes2.jpg180px-Kensuke-Sasaki.jpg

Match number 2 in the tournament sees the charismatic, brash mastermind of the Fabulous Freebirds Michael Hayes take on the IWGP champion of New Japan, (a title he has held five times) Sasaki has already made it clear that he intends returning to Japan as a double champion by securing the NWA title, while Hayes has made no secret of his dsire for the Freebirds to finally taste gold in the company. Hayes, as always is accompanied to the ring by his partner Terry Gordy, who has already secured his place in next week's survival match, while Sasaki is seconded by his prodigiously talented protege Nakajima. The match itself quickly becomes a showcase for the powerhouse Sasaki, in this his US debut. Fans delight in his aggressiona and powerful strikes and chops and marvel at his athletic ability as he pulls off top rope Frankensteiners and various suplexes with apparent ease. Only constant distraction and interference from Gordy save Hayes on a number of occasions, causing Sasaki to become more and more angry as the bout continues. The Japanese powerhouse finally picks up the win with his patented Northern Lights Bomb, dropping Hayes on his head with the brainbuster variation for the 3-count.

Still angry about Gordy's interference during the match, the irate Sasakihas to be restrained by his young partner Nakajima from attacking Gordy outside the ring. The interaction between these two powerhouses is sure to be a fascinating feature of next weeks tournament final!

    Interview Segment. "Charlar Con Konnan"

Next out to the ring is Mexican lucha libre legend Konnan. Konnan has been hired by the NWA as an overseas ambassador for the NWA as it extends its roots in to the rich wrestling heritae of Mexico. As well as wrestling fulltime on NWA shows, Konnan will also negotiate with Mexican talent and speak on their behalf on NWA TV. The Board of the NWA have also tapped into his natural charisma and brilliance as a talker by giving him his own weekly interview segment on NWA TV, the rather snappily titled "Charlar con Konnan" (literally "Chat with Konnan!")

As his first guest, Konnan announces the newly crowned NWA Heavyweight champion, Eddy Guerrero! Guerrero receives a standing ovation as he makes his way to the ring. Konnan welcomes him to the ring with a warm embrace. He and Guerrero are old friends who wrestled both with and against each other in Mexico for years and the warmth and bond between them is apparent from the outset as they alternate between Spanish and English. Guerrero thanks the fans for the rapturous reception he received both tonight and at the PPV on Sunday. He promises again to uphold the dignity of the NWA title and that he will be fighting champion who will defend the belt against all comers.

Konnan in turn expresses his admiration for Guerrero, calling him the greatest wrestler he ever faced in his career. Now that he has arrived into the NWA he promises Guerrero that he will always have his back and will act as his "hermano" or brother. Furthermore he says that the name "Guerrero" which translates into English as "hero" was never so apt as it is for Eddie who is not just a hero for him but for young Mexicans all over the world. Extending his hand in a seeming act of unity and alliance towards Guerrero, the two embrace and it seems as if a formidable and intriguing partnership has been formed between the Latino legends. Guerrero wishes Konnan luck in his match against Nikita Koloff in the #1 contender's tournament, saying it would be an honour to defend hid title agaist his old amigo.

As Eddy's music plays and the pair raise each other's hands to salute the crowd, Konnan announces that his guest next week will be none other that the Mexican icon, the Son of the Saint El Hijo del Santo!

Match Number 3. #1 Contender's Title Tournament. Konnan Vs Nikita Koloff

    Konnan1.jpgNikita-Koloff.jpg

Our next match up features a direct clash of styles. The high paced almost balletic lucha-libre of Konnan contrasts with the more deliberate brawling style of the hated Russion Nikita Koloff. Koloff has been despised by the NWA crowd since his debut in the company. With his total lack of respect for the NWA audiene and his disdain for all things American he has won few friends over the years, although he has found a kindred spirit in Lex Luger, the arrogant young prima donna who turned his back on his fans and indeed the nation of his birth when he formed the International Alliance with Koloff some months back. After a back and forth battle, Konnan pulls of the somewhat surprising win, tying Koloff up in the complex pinning predicament La Magistral for just long enough to get the three count!

Match Number 4. Rock N Roll Express (World Tag Team Champions) Vs Local Enhancement talent

    324582_f260.jpg

Morton and Gibson make short work of their young opponents, wowing their adoring fans with their wide array of double team moves. After their match they take to the microphone declaring themselves the greatest tag team in the world and issuing an open challenge for the next PPV for any team that feels they are worthy to take their belts.

Suddenly they are interupted by Michael Hayes, who has some choice words for the champions. The vociferous crowd let their feelings known and boo him mercilessly throuighout his speech.

"You know Ricky and Robert, it pains me to say this but you guys are good, damned good in fact. Me and my brother Bam Bam have chased you guys all over the Southern States but i'm damned if we don't just keep coming up short. But brothers thats got me to thinking, maybe theres been something missing from the Freebirds these last few years. When we were at our height there were three of us and we swept all before us brother, Rocking and a Rolling our way to the top of the business. So its time for me and Brother Terry to play a little ace we've had up our sleeves for some time now. Next week, we announce the third member of the Fabulous Freebirds and complete the triangle and believe me boys hes a good one! In fact you could say hes a certain somebody the Rock N' Roll Express knows all to well....."

Match Number 5. # 1 Contenders Tournament El Hijo del Santo Vs Tiger Mask

    180px-El_Santo.jpg01.jpg

Our Main Event of the evening is a dream match for wrestling fans all over the world. Arguably the greatest high flyers ever produced by Mexico and Japan clash in a never seen before match for the ages to determine the final spot in next week's elimination match final. Most wrestling companies would be delighted to have this match headline its PPV's. but such is the quality on show in the NWA that we are giving it away on free TV! As expected the match is a spectacular showcase of both wrestler's amazing skills. Running at well over 20 minutes, it raises the bar for every wrestler in the NWA lockerroom and confirms the NWA as the true home od the greaest pure wrestling in the world. By the end of the match the series of high spots mixed with awesome chainnwrestling and near falls leaves the crowd hoarse with excitement. The finish finally comes when Tiger Mask reverses a hurrincanrana attempt into a reverse piledriver, before pinning his gallant opponent with his signature Tiger Suplex. In truth, however, after such an incredible display by both men, there are no real losers in a match of such quality and the Mexican great wins just as many friends and supporters in defeat as his opponent does in victory; indeed the real fans are those who were there to see such a monumental match live and in person.

Backstage Segment. Office of the Board of Directors.

The room is dimly lit and a lone figure sits at the desk on a large swivel chair. The chair is turned away from the camera, hiding the identity of its occupant who slowly begins to speak in a voice familiar to wrestling fans the world over.

"In the beginning it was the territories who stood in my way. And I crushed them.

Then it was WCW who stood in my way. And I crushed them.

ECW, TNA, ROH, I bought 'em all and yes I crushed them, I held them in the palm of my hand and I crushed them as the eyes of the world looked on.

And now after all these years, the NWA rises up like a pheonix from the flames and thinks that they can compete once again with Vincent Kennedy McMahon?

    *Turns slowly in chair*

You see I freely admit that I'm a control freak. I'm obsessive, I'm compulsive and above all I must have things my own way. And I can't let the NWA rise up like WCW did before them. I can't let the Ted Turner Arena become a mecca to professional wrestling like Madison Square Garden did and above all I will NEVER EVER let Ted Turner or any company in which he's involved compete with me like they did before.

So I'm going to do what I should've done a long time ago. Next week, I spill the blood of the entire NWA, just like my son-in-law spilled that of your hero on Sunday night........."

    vince%20mcmahon.JPG

Screen fades to black to the sound of McMahon's maniacal laughter.........

    NEXT WEEK ON NWA TV:

    - What does the evil Vince mcMahon have in store for the NWA and its fans? How does he have the authority to appear on NWA television?
    - The Number 1 contender to the NWA title will be decided. Its Terry Gordy Vs Konnan Vs Tiger Mask Vs Kensuke Sasaki in a four man survival spectacular!
    - Who will be named the third member of the Fabulous Freebirds? What is his connection with the Rock N' Roll Express?
    - Konnan will interview El Hijo del Santo. What is the exact nature of alliance formed between Konnan and Eddy Guerrero on this weeks show?

    BWA: Awakening 2 weeks away

The Show opens with a short recap of last weeks show.

    (Carlito's Cabana)
Carlito interviews the newest BWA draft
    wwe-carlito.jpg

Carlito opens the show with a double announcement before introducing his guest/guests to the BWA audience. In 2 weeks upon the BWA's return to England for BWA:Awakening there will be what is now officially a sell out record setting crowd of 90,000 at Wembley stadium, and secondly that the contract signing for Awakening's main event which will now officially pit Muhammad Ali against Bruno Sammartino for the World heavyweight title will take place live here tonight!

First he'd like to welcome the newest members of the BWA roster..Silver King & Dr Wagner Jr

    sadsader.jpg

Carlito welcomes them to the BWA and enquires if they plan on competing to become the first ever BWA tag team champions at Awakening

Silver King takes the mic and says that when they got the call up to the BWA they had wanted to know the exact same thing so went straight to the chairman of the BWA, but the chairman it seems has different plans for them. He went on to explain that he had let them know that he was in negotiations to bring in another team of Luchadores but that he didnt want a load of Masked wrestlers on his show so if they dont want to be unmasked they will have to defeat this other team in a Mask vs Mask match at Awakening
Silver King passes the Mic to Dr Wagner Jr who explains just what a Mask means to a Mexican wrestler and how they will do everything they can to stop that from happening. He also explains that now they will give an example of what awaits whoever will face them at Awakening

Silver King & Dr Wagner Jr vs Matt Hardy & Steve Corino

    2475189160_1aff819357.jpg?v=013.jpgMattHardy3.jpg

Silver King & Dr Wagner Jr Def Hardy & Corino After a real exhibition of Lucha Libre skills the masked duo pick up the win after Abyss comes through the crowd to once again attack Corino, leaving Matt Hardy isolated/susceptable to the Mexicans double team moves before he is eventually pinned when Dr Wagner Jr delivers a Sitout crucifix powerbomb from the second rope. Lita comes out to help Matt to his feet after the match.

quick backstage interview with the Twin Towers, The Big Bossman & The One Man Gang who have been on a losing streak recently but vow that starting tonight they will start a winning streak that will culminate with them becoming Tag champs at Awakening

Bryan "The American Dragon" Danielson vs Carlito
    l_ee6b97c1824dbe8a469025b5a6cd9ade.jpgus-carlito01-2.jpg

Bryan Danielson Def Carlito:In a very impressive display The American Dragon sends a clear message to his Awakening opponent as he systimatically takes Carlito apart before finishing him with a Spinning reverse piledriver. Trish Stratus has to help Carlito back stage after the match just as Lita had to earlier

A backstage segment is shown in which Awesome & Aja Kong compete in a arm wrestling competition.

The British & Canadian Bulldogs vs Vader, Abyss & The Twin Towers (8 man tag-match)

    wrestling_mascots_3.jpg02.jpg
    200px-Vader_in_1996.jpg2-7-2009%201_55_48%20PM.jpgtwin+towers.jpg

Vader, Abyss & The Twin Towers Def The Bulldogs by DQ: The mosterous team of Vader, Abyss, Bossman & One Man Gang dominate this match showing a surpising good understanding and cohesion as a team, isolating first DH Smith and later Tyson Kidd from their corners and making a possible tag for large periods of the match. The match eventually broke down into a massive brawl though when Steve Corino came out of nowhere to attack Abyss, returning the favourt from earlier tonigh. This result in the team of big men winning via DQ.

Contact signing with Bruno Sanmartino and Muhammad Ali

Ali comes out first, his usual cocky self and talks about how much he is looking forward to BWA:Awakening and that Bruno Sammartino doesent scare him stating 'It's lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges, and I believed in myself.' before signing the contract for the match, just as he does Sammartino's music hits and out he comes

    nhl_g_sammartino_200.jpg1923_reg.gif

Bruno gets straight straight in Ali's face, saying he doesent have to fear him but he will respect him, that wrestling is his domain and that Casius Clay's (which is how Sammartino refers to Ali throughout this segment) mouth shouldent write checks his body cant cash because at BWA:Awakening He will show who really is the greatest. He then signs the contract before stating that it is done now the match is offical but he isnt going to wait till then to get his hand on Ali, he throws the table the contract had been on out of the ring and attacks Ali head on. The two are eventually seperated as Matt Hardy, Steve Corino and the Canadian & British bulldogs all rush to the ring to keep them apart.

    Week 1 show here.

    Week 2 show here.
This week's MNG show comes live from Miami, Florida.

The show opened with Jake 'The Snake', Shane and Bam Bam coming out flanked by security. Shane got on the mic and said tonight would be a special night. He said he doubted Big Show would come as promised but if he did he'd meet security. He said tonight the Hollys would face Santino and a partner of his choosing to determine the number 1 contenders for the tag titles. He also said tonight The Rock would take on Bam Bam here in his hometown in a no holds barred match. Jake got on the mic and cut a promo about how The Rock disgusts him and reiterated he'd win the vacant WWE title at Wrestlemania. He said The Rock wrote his death warrant last week by throwing Damien into the river and demanded Rock come out so he could destroy him in his hometown.

Rock came out to a huge ovation and said finally he had come home. Rock said usually he would never touch another man's snake since that's more Shane's style. Shane got upset. Rock told Jake not to worry as he had sent a team of crack scuba divers under the river to try and find Damien. He started pulling out items from a bag which included a plastic eel, an Aquaman costume, a message in a bottle which called Jake an asshole and a sex doll with 'property of Bam Bam' written on it. Rock apologised for Damien not being in there. Rock said it didn't matter who he faced tonight whether it was Bam Bam, Pebbles, Fled Flinstone, Wilma, Wilma's fat mammy, the only think that mattered was tonight The Rock would lay the smackdown on their candy asses.

Jake said Rock shouldn't be so cocky. He said he knew Hurricane helped Rock take Damien last week so tonight he would take his frustrations out on him and Rock wouldn't be able to do anything about it as he would be banned from ringside by security. The crowd booed as Jake laughed and the show went to commercial.

Match #1 The Hollys vs Santino and Nunzio ended in a double count-out

Before the match Santino said he had called in a favour from someone he could trust. He introduced Nunzio. He said he and Nunzio were old pals and used to be regarded as The Italian Stallions in Sicily. Santino said they would beat the two albino boys and face Hurricane and Rosey for the tag belts at Mania.

The match was fairly even throughout. Beth came out during the match to Santino's delight but she didn't acknowledge him. She came to ringside and watched. The finish came with Santino and Crash as the legal men both trying to use Beth's chair to hit the other. She refused to let either of them have it. The bell rang for a double count-out. Nunzio and Hardcore seemed bemused.

Suddenly the lights went out and another video played featuring the number 9 and the words 'What's mine is mine'. Suddenly Chyna's music hit and she came out to a huge pop. She got on the mic and said she was back in WWE and since she left as the women's champion she still considered herself the rightful champion. She told Beth she wanted her gold back at Wrestlemania and that it would be the Glamazon vs the 9th wonder of the world. Beth looked worried and behind her Santino kept cracking up. Each time Beth turned round he kept a straight face.

Backstage Rock was looking for Hurricane but bumped into Mr T. He wished Mr T luck shutting up Hassan. Mr T said Hassan would get an old-fashioned American ass-kicking soon. Rock said he didn't doubt that and excused himself. Rock found Hurricane and Rosey. Rock said he was sorry he'd left Hurricane in a tight spot against Jake tonight. Hurricane said it wasn't his fault. Rosey told Rock not to worry because while Rock wouldn't be allowed out there, he'd still be there and would have Hurricane's back.

    Match #2 didn't take place

JYD came out for his debut to a big pop but Muhammad Hassan ran down the aisle and attacked him and left him laying. Mr T came out for the save and Hassan ran off. Mr T again repeated his call for a match at Mania. Afterwards an angry Shane said he was getting frustrated with Hassan's antics. He asked Hassan to sign a contract next week for a match with Mr T at Wrestlemania. Hassan said he'd think about it.

Rock was shown sitting in his locker-room. Hurricane burst in and told Rock to come quick. Rosey was shown being treated by EMTs and lying in a pool of blood. A snake symbol was written into the blood. Rock looked pissed and Hurricane said he'd make Roberts pay. Rock told him to be careful as he was now on his own.

Match #3 Jake Roberts b. Hurricane

Shane was at ringside. Hurricane started strongly but Roberts soon took control. He finished Hurricane with the DDT and got the pin. Roberts got a chair and began beating on Hurricane. Rock was shown backstage trying to get through the curtain but security wouldn't let him. He hit some of the guards but there were too many. The fans started chanting for Big Show. The Big Show's music hit and everyone turned to the ramp but he came through the crowd. Shane and Jake left the ring as Show stood tall.

After the break Hurricane was shown with Rock and Show being helped into a cab to go visit Rosey at the hospital. He thanked Show for his help. Show told Rock he would have Rock's back tonight. Rock said he appreciated the offer but he didn't want it and walked away as Show looked on.

Match #4 The Rock b. Bam Bam (no holds barred match)

Bam Bam came out with Shane and Jake while The Rock came out alone. Security guarded the ramp. The match started with Bam Bam in control but The Rock later took charge and looked set to win with The People's Elbow. Jake then pulled Rock over the rope and he and Shane beat on him. Fans chanted for Show. The Big Show's music hit again and he came out knocking down all the security guards. Show and Bam Bam had a stare-down and then went at it with rights and lefts. Rock got a second wind and he and Show began working on Bam Bam, Shane and Jake. The finish came with The Rock hitting the Rock Bottom on Bam Bam for the 1-2-3.

The show went off the air with Rock and Show standing in the ring as Jake, Shane and Bam Bam backed up the aisle.

    Next time:

    - What will Shane, Jake and Bam Bam have in store for Rock and Big Show now?

    - Will Hassan sign the contract to meet Mr T at Wrestlemania?

    - Who will now be the number one contenders for the tag belts at Wrestlemania?

    - Plus how will Beth react to Chyna's demands for a women's title shot?

All this and more next time on Monday Night Grappling!

I am the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time , ive beaten any challenge that has been in my way over the last number of years in this business . I have won numerous titles in each of the companies ive been associated with . ODB got on the microphone and challenged Sheik/Melina/James to a 6 person inter gender match , which was quickly accepted by Melina but Sheik wasnt to pleased

    Match 3
    Hernandez vs Mr.Kennedy

She talks about how the contract has been drawn up for the match at Rebelution. It will be Champion Shawn Michaels putting his title on the line against Jeff Jarrett in a No Holds Barred match. HBK signs the contract first, and then Jarrett. Jenny then reminds the two that they cannot lay a finger on one another until the match, if they fail to apply with the rule there would be serious consequences. Shawn Michaels and Jeff Jarrett stand face-to-face, exchanging words.

An ad for the anticipated upcoming PPV, Rebelution, then airs as the show fades out.
