Win tickets as part of the Arthurs Day Celebrations **Winner announced**

As anyone who's been involved in this thread will tell you, the evening of September 24 in Dublin is going to be a fun one.



The whole idea behind Arthurs Day is to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the lease at St James’s Gate Brewery. All around the city, and country, people are invited to raise a Guinness to Arthur at 17.59 and then enjoy an amazing line up of acts in over 33 of Dublin's top pubs and venues.

There are still limited tickets available for some of the 28 Dublin pub venues. Those lucky enough to get their hands on tickets for one of the 28 Dublin pub venues will have the unique experience of seeing two well known artists and one special guest performance.

All the special guests performing in the four studio venues and in Hopstore 13 including Tom Jones, Kasabian and Estelle will make an unannounced appearance for 30 incredible minutes when they perform live in an intimate pub setting for under €10.

Competition:

We have two tickets to Vicar Street to give away to a lucky Boards.ie member. On stage that night will be Black Swan Effect, OK Go, Razorlight, Reverend and The Makers, Sugababes, The Blizzards, The Magic Numbers and you'll never know who else!

All you have to do to be eligible to win is to post a photo or picture of a pint of Guinness - preferably one you have taken yourself.

You can either use the button above or link to the photo on a website like Pix.ie, Flickr, Picasa and so on.

We will choose the best of the photos and choose a winner from the shortlist at random.

The competition is open until 17:00 on Friday 18 September 2009. Winners will be announced shortly afterwards.
