Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know where I can buy the 20 euro tickets? Ticketmaster is giving me 40 euro as cheapest option. I'm aware Catherine is selling them directly from her website for cheaper, but I'm looking for the 20 euro tix if possible.

Looks like the 20 euro tickets are sold out (which is a good thing for MMA) the 38 Euro tickets put me in the 175 UFC euro tickets.

(I'm going to both, which is the best value? - I'll tell you after the Joe Duffy fight)

Ah that's a shame. Don't think I can stretch my funds even though I'm sure it will be great. If anyone has a pair of 20 tickets for sale I would love to take them.

(And I'll see what I can do for you)

So then, we all sorted for this then Bamma??

Can't wait for this card, pisses all over UFC for value for money

Does anyone know if this will be broadcasted live on TV? Other obligations making it impossible to make it up in time?

Would like to know this too, or even if I could purchase a stream. Can't make it up on the night unfortunately

Pure guess work on my part but BAMMA usually have a few prelims on the Lonsdale Facebook page followed by live TV coverage on Spike TV UK.

Dont BAMMA have a deal with channel 5?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Frans Mlambo added to the card. Another John Kavanagh protege. Great news and certainly makes up for James Kavanagh having to pull out. He faces Darren O'Gorman who is 3-0 as a pro with the 3 wins coming via submission so should be a good matchup.

TV News is forthcoming. We will announce something of interest shortly.

Yes Channel 5/Spike TV UK are owned by the same company. We currently broadcast live in the UK live on Spike.

BAMMA, I asked this a while back but it probably got lost in the thread. Do you have a running time for this event? Cheers.

  • Registered Users Posts: 72 ✭✭mmapk

*** JOKES **** for the number of fights I'd be suggesting they should start at 3 in the afternoon.

  • Registered Users Posts: 786 ✭✭✭ps3man

So many fights, loads of tickets around 20-50 euro. Actually so excited for this. Yeah its not the UFC but these lads will all still bring it. Unreal value. So surprised it hasn't sold out yet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,440 ✭✭✭califano

Ah i see now. That was the rep of Ireland SpikeTV which doesnt seem to have the same offering as UK. When i changed to uk location it lists it at 10pm

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Can anyone offer a running time for this, or a start/finish time at least please?

I'm eager to go (and would be bringing a few others) but without a running time may struggle as I need to sort out transport etc.

    Thanks. :)

The event will start around 4-4.30pm with the live televised prelims from 7pm on the Lonsdale FB page. Then in the UK from 10pm the Main card goes live on Spike TV UK.

What time is the last fight scheduled for? Just trying to figure out whether to drive or commute!

  • Registered Users Posts: 63 ✭✭BAMMA

Depending on previous fight finishes around 11:30pm.

Where? I can't find the €20 tickets anywhere! If there are any left I'm definitely going, please point me in the right direction. Money's tight so I can't get the higher priced tickets even though I'm sure it will be worth every penny.

In fairness, it's not like Rhys would have had a gun to his head to take the fight. Balls of steel to take that fight at 170.

Just noticed on Ticketmaster that BAMMA 24 (Ireland vs England) is in the 3 Arena on the 27th of Feb, tickets on sale this day week.

This could very well be old news but I'm just after noticing it.

I always thought Davern was SBG. Unless I'm think ing of someone else entirely.

I think Evolution is part of the SBG ATG (Affiliated training groups), I could be wrong on that. There are a number around the country.

Kieran Davern does train in SBG concorde also quite a bit.

It is, Kieran used to train up at SBG then set up his own place in Tulla which is now SBG affiliated. I would assume he still trains up at SBG so he can learn from higher levels.

Ye that's him. What was his injury? I was looking forward to his comeback

Also for those interested, the online betting site betbright are taking bets on nearly all the pro fights...some of the odds are abit strange but I did well off cage kings so will have a few bets on to make it more interesting. Frans and Darren aren't listed though which is strange, it's one of the fights I'm looking forward to the most!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,440 ✭✭✭califano

Wow wonder what retard on BB priced them up!. 1/10f v 2/1!!!
    3/10 v 1/1!!

Duquesnoy at odds of 2/1  Are they insane?

EDIT - apologies. I was looking on mobile which appears to have the first listed fighter as 'Player 2' for some reason. Bloody hell I was ready for a lump job there!

I asked this previously and was told it's pretty much the same running order as they appear on the website.

So taking for granted that this card is in Ireland, we're on an Irish website and most of the people here are in Ireland. Is this actually on tv in Ireland?

If not, is it freely accessible online?
