Shooting Forum - Firearms licencing information

Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any shooting ranges in Galway?

    I am interested in going to a shooting range would love to try it. Any in Galway? Also any info people can give me on shooting ranges for an amateur would be great. :)

    Hi Trisha,
    There are no shooting ranges as such in Galway unless it is clay shooting that you would like to try.
    Had you known the NASRPC run a women on target day where participants get to learn the basics on rifle and pistol shooting both in theory and practical with one on one instruction. There was one just last weekend held in Harbour House Sports Club in Athy and it was a fantastic day. If you are interested I will forward you more details.

    As homerhop said there are none in Galwy, and other than the NASRPC course/event you might want to look at this. It's a list of ranges. One may be close enough and provide a guest feature to allow you to go, see and possibly shoot.

    there used to be an airsoft "range" down the basement of the corrib fish and tackle shop,in the lisbaun estate. not sure if it is still there....give em a ring and find out.
    (only airsoft,no "real" guns)
