Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why aren't Aer Lingus marketing the **** out of this? Relatively cheap WiFi and power to keep you juiced. Would sway me if I was caught between two airlines, (unless of course they are all doing it)

i booked it because of the wifi - i usually fly other carriers.

Only joking ! Enjoy your flight !

Personally prefer to put it skin side down on a hot dry pan to seal and crisp it and then transfer to the oven for 25 mins before resting for 25 mins (skin side up so that crispy goodness stays... crispy)

How long left til you land? What's the weather like up there? Is the plane full?
    Is the food included?

9-10 hours, nice weather, sunny with some clouds beneath, food is included but i'm sure it'll be muck. Plane is about half full.

I hope you have good entertainment - or maybe not cos you're on here :D

I remember fying BA from LA - London last year , nice sized screens and a whole catalog of films - like so much choice , pretty much every mainstream film from 1970 onwards you could watch ...

    fantastic.

Is the Aer Lingus plane food as bad as ever?

Are the EI cabin crew more interested in hiding in the galley discussing their plans while in San Francisco than they are actually serving their passengers?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,264 ✭✭✭✭jester77

Turn on your GPS and keep posting us your coordinates every few mins, planes tend to go missing these days.

Remember to raise your legs just before landing.
Nothing worse than the chairs breaking your ankles in a crash leaving you unable to walk away from the flames.

Seem pretty attentive so far, I chose the tikka, there was some weird sugary cinnamon crap on the salad and the tika itself was pretty bad, but i've had much much worse. Luckily i got a smoked salmon bagel from wrights in the airport.

My god the attachment is taking forever to upload! - had to scale it down from 4.2mb

if you're not out of a crashed plane within 60 seconds you're toast. I read that somewhere.

Emirates are the best, I always try and fly with them when heading to Asia. The only negative is that their screens on A380 are too bright at the dimmest setting after the lights go out after dinner.
