Was out Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed myself, even with the small numbers it was great fun. The site is just amazing, everything has a purpose and you have to watch those flanks.

I'm still not 100% hot on the respawn rules for that capture the flag one, but I guess its something to adapt too. The terrain is fantastic and I will definitely be up again.

Well done lads you have a lovely site, cant wait to get my m16VN up and get my FULL VN loadout going on to trapse through the forest.

A big thanks to Damian & the lads for another enjoyable day of airsofting.
A pleasure to play with Apex/RATS, tight and keen bunch of lads.
Met a few old buds today.

well iam fecked from running around red barn yesterday,a big thanks to the three lads yesterday for a truly realistic airsoft combat experience,very professional and fair marshalling from damo and the boys'( and some eeeeeejit
takin a short cut through the safe zone fully loaded dident help), sorry damo)
me compass was stuck on north.

Just wanna say fair play to big al from ATF we had a brief one on one cqb on the prisoner game both of us got peppered and the both of us took the hit that was nice to see and showed a mature and fair side to the game AND A GOOD PLAYER,
and made the game much more relaxed.and enjoyable.

all the players there yesterday were a joy to play with NO ARGUEING OR SHOUTING ABOUT HITS from any hot heads.
the site is a absolutly fantastic with a great variation of game modes and very well thought out cover angles , i,m sure the mess hall will be open soon.
best of luck guys, im sure you wont need it with the money timeand thought spent
on that place its gonna be very popular,
THE RATS WILL DEFO BE BACK SOON.

visited the site yesterday,

it is definitley the best site in swords and the east coast!

this is the first airsoft site i have been on without a Tyre or pallet in sight.

proper sandbags are in place and the buildings are fantastic, it keeps reminding me of saving private ryan/normandy, (hopefully i will get to play a ww2 event at the site) the woodland is dense and makes for great games - the sight is a good combination of woodland and buildings. the guys at red barn have set the standards for airsoft sites in ireland

sign in, crono and games were very well run and the guys were all very friendly.

Have to say i really enjoyed this site. The lz game and prisoner games where the best. The forest part is really dense some really close fighting you really can not tell where people are when your in the bases. Got flanked and shoot in the back out of nowhere with people sneakin through the forest, and also flanked a few people myself. You can clearly see that time has been spent thinking this site out there are so many ways to attack objectives, defenders have know idea where an attackers are going to be coming from. I will look forward to my next visit to this site.

Thats great, looking forward to seeing them in action when they are not shootin at me on an opposing team, Strange thing this Marshalling. Who knows might whip off the Hi-Vis for a game or two.

Thanks for that. Well I'm looking at it purely from a players viewpoint. You can never please all the people all the time but we can only do our best.

What days and times do you open.
I know there is a ten euro joining fee, can anyone join and if so whats the charges for full day and half day after that. It looks fantastic cant wait to try out.

Hey Toherninator, no your not going to have to pay it again. We weren't issuing cards last weekend to anybody. We will have the cards ready for pick up at the site this weekend for anybody that was there last weekend.We don't issue the cards on the day. They are issued during the week and then posted out. But this being our first weekend time was too short to post out the cards. So anybody that was on site last weekend can pick up their card this weekend and if not they will be posted out next monday..:) Hope this clears this up for ya. Thanks.

Gates in the morning close at 10.30, Games in the evening will usually run till about 5 maybe 5.30.

We would prefer if you got there with enough time for you to sign in and chrono your guns and then start playing at 2. Just so that we don't hold the second half of the day up, in the interest of all the players. Thanks and look forward to seeing you.:)

We were there on Saturday, and what can I say. It's a crackin site with some really good game scenarios. The amount of cover in the woodland area has to be seen to be believed, and it really adds to the tension of the games as you walk into potential ambushes. The Courtyard has an atmosphere all of its own and I am sure there will be many a hard battle fought in there. We didnt get to play all scenarios, but having them described to us by the marshalls was enough to have us wanting more

Thanks for those good words Marko,:) we sure were impressed by the Vipers winning style and tactics during all of yesterdays games. But you didn't have it too easy with your opposing team doing some stirling work.
I have to say yesterdays games fought hard and long with great fun and Honour by all present. It was good to see all the lads down, I've played with them , against them and now marshalled for them.... A great bunch of lads.:D

A great day yesterday! The vipers were in their element.A testament to the site that no team was able to capture the flag..You could hide 80 men in there no problem.It would take a good few days of play before you get your head around the site,really keeps you on your toes.I spent 10 minutes crawling on my belly to get a sniper that was'nt there.. Well done again guys!!:D

Thanks and you sure could hide a heap of players out in the woodland. We'll have to issue maps and compasses to everyone.. Lol. Or signposts up on the larger trees.:D

It is part of the greater plan to add something like that and maybe a stockade or two. Time and money are the only hold ups.... cause the imagination runnith wilde..... :pac::pac:

Quality site lads... Only got sunday morning out of it but great battles against the Vipers and more importantly I was really impressed with the organisation of the owners. No hanging around, get your s*** together and start gaming.

The woodland is the business got lost a couple of times and got shot in the arse getting lost.... wont do that again.

Well done the owners and looking forward to going back to the site.
