Bought Love Letter, great little game!

Also bought Ticket To Ride: Switzerland and India map packs.

Will also be buying a new copy of Avalon and made a delude edition out of the contents as a project.

Anyone know where I can get Nations in ireland?

Most places are out of stock.

Gamers World in Dublin just posted on their Facebook page that they got Nations back in stock. Thought you might want to know.

I've just received my copy from parcel motel but thanks for the head up.

Played my first game last night. I'm impressed although it did take me 2.5 hours playing Rome and Persia but now have a good feel for it.

Well done, this is one of the best 2 player games out there - love it.

    Aye,
Played one game of it against a buddy and I was blown away. Woke up the next day and my head was spinning with what ifs. very very clever stuff. Rate it up there with Through the ages/nations. real head wrecker. Would make for a fantastic online/phone game

How's everyone, started playing some more games recently, picked up munchkin and Castle Panic recently, already had the Star Wars lcg. They have all the force packs for that on book depository for €10 each delivered at the moment so doing some catching up there. Anyone any suggestions for two player games? I've seen twilight struggle mentioned, is that tough to get into?

LOL wish I did, that way I would get a staff discount ;)

I've played about 6 solo games of Nations so far and think it's very good.

Not brilliant mind you but I suspect the multiplayer would be excellent.

Finally ordered Manhattan Project the other day. It's been on my to-buy list for about a year now, but kept getting pushed back of favour of various X-wing purchases (seriously, Fantasy Flight, just take a vacuum to my wallet already).

Finally pulled the trigger. Hopefully, I'll get to give it a go at the weekend.

Was €15 in a shop in Killarney, couldn't turn it down :)

Played it a few years back and it wasn't bad

  • Registered Users Posts: 152 ✭✭Rougebladez

    What shop in Killarney ?

Didn't realise there was a game shop that stocked designer games.

  • Registered Users Posts: 186 ✭✭MrTimewalk

The Works I think it's called in the Killarney outlet, is more a book/nic nac shop but it has a few games occasionally

Just ordered this on book depository. At €13.00 I thought it was a pretty good deal . so couldn't let it go..Crazy thing is ,I still haven't played the base game and don't know when I will find the time.

Since most of the people I play boardgames with would not be interested in this I will probably play this one solo ,which seems to suit the game and me.:)

Damn ,just seen Pathfinder deck 5 for €9.00 on book depository:(
