    TL;DR
Phone great. Screen great. Size great. Camera great. Cyanogenmod great.

    Few issues, most fixed.

    9/10

Hold off buying till after the OnePlus 2 gets announced IMO.

The OPO will be announce in just under 4 weeks, then released after a while through an invite only system. It will be extremely difficult to get an invite soon after release and Im guessing you would be very lucky to get the phone by the end of the year.

That was already on my list! My friend raves about his.

Also, how long should I expect shipping to take? I'm going express.

My one shipped Tuesday morning got it today on express.

I can't see it going down. I can see them stopping the production of them and focusing on the Oneplustwo. The spec is too high to drop the price significantly.

My point was that once its announced, there will rakes of cheap OPO's / further price drops on the official store.

Ok, you never mentioned price. I doubt it would go down since the OP2 will be at a higher price and they weren't making much of a profit from the OPO, so if they cut the price it they'd be losing money. They also just reduced the price recently back to 249 and 299, not long after they raised the prices to 299 and 349 because of the Euros value decreasing.

How would this compare to the HTC M8

How much are you looking at paying for the M8?

    http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=6327&idPhone2=6074

The OnePlus is better imo, bigger screen, better battery.

I was thinking of buying it sim free so 400-500. But if this phone has a decent battery and good speed I'll get this

It has both, excellent battery and speed. All relative of course.

I believe it does better in benchmarks than the M8. Has more 1Gb more RAM and .2GHz than the M8. Battery life is incredible on it.

I wouldn't see any reason to pick the M8 over the OPO, unless you badly wanted a metal body, didn't mind paying more or having less battery life.

Purchased yesterday morning and status changed from pending shipment to processing this morning.

Does it ship from the UK? I chose express delivery, anyone know when I should expect to receive it?

Tomorrow or Thursday at a guess, think they have a distribution centre in Heathrow

Just to clarify, it is from a warehouse in a London borough.

Nice one. DHL tracking says near Heathrow right now so I'd be hopeful for tomorrow.

Newer model expected later this month. Prob working on all them instead of replenishing older models. Looks good too.

So it will be roughly €100 more expensive than the OPO.. Shame :P

If I end up getting an invite I may go for it..

Not really a shame? It seems a massive upgrade on the first - cost of the materials alone must be a lot higher. Good for them, keeping the price as even as low as it will be :).
