Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pity he's still a twat though, TBF.

A twat that has access to 14 million pounds in a bank account though as he recently expressed in an interview (that's only his cash worth). Don't write him off because he's a working class yob from the wrong side of Manchester. If you listen to him speak you'll hear that he's actually quite articulate and intelligent.

I'd have to say Sharon Ní Bheoláin. I watched the 6 o'clock news recently (I usually watch the 9 o'clock news...haven't seen the 6 o'clock news in years) and I got a shock when I saw Sharon. She looks like an old woman now!

Ah leave Brigette alone, she's older than most people now. Speaking of people ageing well though have a look at this:

That's a 75 year old woman that could hold you down and take what she wants.

Seriously? I think he looks about 64 there..

Russell Crowe and Joaqiun Phoenix have to be the biggest.

I was watching gladiator the last day and to see the difference between now and then is unreal.

Wow. Can't agree with that. She's a woman in her 40s... and looks like an attractive woman in her 40s, IMO.

What difference does money make to a person's twatness?
Don't write him off because he's a working class yob from the wrong side of Manchester
Where did they say that's the reason they think he's a twat?
If you listen to him speak you'll hear that he's actually quite articulate and intelligent.
    Did they deny that?

I agree he's a pretty sharp funny guy, but I also find him extremely arrogant (some say that's irony, I don't think it always is) and I couldn't care less where he's from. The only thing I dislike about him in relation to his background is him going on about how "Working class people have more 'soul' or whatever than middle-class people". Fuk off, it's an accident of birth. Probably doesn't say that stupid nonsense any more now though, seeing as he's middle-class whether he likes it or not. :)

I think Crowe said he was deliberately gaining weight for his new role playing Noah. He's put it on and taken it off before.

I think a lot of posters here are mistaking ageing for ageing badly.

If I had to pick "celebrities" who have IMO not aged well, I'd choose:

    Mickey Rourke
    Brigitte Bardot
    Kelly McGillis
    Mark Hamill
Lindsay Lohan - she looks about 50 in her recent pics.
    Val Kilmer
    Donatella Versace
    Billy Crystal
    Jeremy London

FYI - Chastity Bono has a sex change and is now Chaz Bono so doesn't really count. He could do with losing a lot of weight though.

I think the bane of Craig David's career was Bo Selecta.. Apparently there is no love lost between him and Keith Lemon..

Arnold Schwarzenegger seems to have aged alot lately.

Stallone on the other hand seems to be in great shape in that new film he has coming out.

Because so many celebrities are having cosmetic surgery, the ones who haven't had so much (or at all) - fare less well in terms of ageing than the ones who go under the knife or get the botox shots.

Just look at any Hollywood event like the Oscars - it's a veritable parade of the results of the work of cosmetic surgeons.

Also, botched/extreme cosmetic surgery can be a lot worse in terms of aesthetics than ageing badly - just look at Jocelyn Wildenstein, Heidi Montag, Barry Manilow and Joan van Ark - all ruined.

Russell Crowe has been mentioned a few times but he is still a god.

    Look at him in 2012:

Yeh, getting old naturally isn't the same as ageing badly in fairness.

IMO, ageing badly is looking older than your years; looking EXTREMELY wrinkly and wrecked looking compared to most others your age, due to lifestyle or just bad luck in the genes department.

I've noticed though, people who have the face of a much older person tend to have the body of a much younger person. It's like the deal with ageing is: it's gonna be one or the other. :pac:

It's the fat in the face that gives a youthful look, so a thin body can make you look a wreck prematurely.

That said, there's a happy medium. Elle Macpherson looks incredible for 49 and not 'done' at all.

I think it's down to lifestyle and genetics. Excessive sun exposure really turns skin leathery, alcohol takes its toll too and stress definitely adds those lines and wrinkles.

Look at Tony Blair for instance - fresh faced in 1997 as a newly elected PM, after the Iraq War he looked like he's aged 20+ years. It took a huge toll on his looks.
