Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Premier League confirm that Benteke's goal should not have been allowed to stand against Bournemouth. His captainers can count themselves very lucky.

Between this and the first yaya goal against West Brom there is a lot of luck flying around already.
I'd still have beaten you comfortably :p :pac:...

The highlight of your season, beating the champion. :P

Early celebrations can have their pitfall

    Celebrating? Me? Nooo...

Just recalling the facts. And the fact is you haven't quite put your game together yet.

    Mccarthy
    Kolorav Martin O'Shea
    Pedro Depay Chadli sanchez
    Sakho Aguero vardy
Late change hazard in for Pedro.

We have very different teams now (only Agüero in common ). At least it should be interesting from a H2H perspective.

I chickened out of going -8 so just gave you a 4 pts head start ;).

May the best man win. Could do with the 3 pts.

    You're up 30-20(-4).

    Your Kolarov + Hazard + Sanchez (C) + Aguero vs my Myhill + Bellerin + Azpi + Fabregas + Silva + Benteke + Aguero (C).

Still open. Obviously captains are gonna be key, particulalrly yours since I don't own Alexis. I'll add Kolarov vs Silva & Hazard vs Fabregas. 0-0 in WB-Chelsea and it's game on ! Otherwise I'm gonna need things to specifically go my way...

I'm relying on Mané to eat up. Or not play.

Interesting match with lemlin and very varied teams. His Ivan, Hazard, Sterling and Benteke vs Sanchez +18.

Have a bad feeling about it!

I think you have it tbh. Can't see my lads making up that difference. Sanchez could outscore my four! Benteke is the only one in a bit of form.

Any of your 4 could on their day score 10 to 15 points. You've a few dogs in this fight yet.

Looks like I have my first 3 points to take me of foot of table- against CSF
Both have Aguero (C), Sanchez and kolorav
But I have 1 point lead and Courtois, Silva, Pelle V Mané seems safe...

Just noticed this....a Wilson 17 pointer on bench ouch!

I never really considered starting him so I'm not hurting over it too much. If someone didn't play and he came in it would be an absolute steal.

Down to 6 now with Beneke vs Sanchez. Anyones.

I'd still have you as strong favourite. I needed more from Hazard and Ivan today.

My 100% record is dead barring Sanchez breaking his ankle in the shower.

If Sanchez doesn't play i'd have Taylor coming of the bench Vs your Wilson and i'd still beat ya by 1 point

Considering your one of top posters in here I consider it a scalp

Well done Busts. That was a very successful WC! And could even have been better had Jose told you about Pedro start and had you followed my advice re Courtois :p.

Need Sanchez to score more than seven to win.

Ye not bad for a non template WC. Would've been nice to have stuck with Pedro.

Gillespie Road leads me by one point and it's his Cech and Ozil versus my Bellerin and Benteke. Feeling a little confident hearing that Arsenal are without Koscielny and Mertesacker. May the best team win.

    Second loss in a row.

A decent enough 46 gives me a win over Irish Son

Two wins in a row after my initial defeat

3 wins from 3 and the scalp of the mighty Lemlin. Again. :)

57-51 final score, largely in part to Cech's masterclass today. Cant say it wasnt in the back of my mind every time Benteke got on the ball :P

Cech was a hero alright, well done on a good score.

Changed my mind. Treble captaining Aguero. Oh if only I could use all 3 chips at once ;) LOI pride at stake here

Facing table topper Iago this week, who looks like he's taken a -4 hit already - something I'm tempted to do myself...

Think you'll win this one, I expect your differentials to outscore my differentials :)

Up against ScienceNerd. He has a strong team and I took a -8 so expecting a loss.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,543 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Should have told him to transfer in Benteke ;)

    A defeat this week.

3 behind skippy with only Gomis left and he has him as well, with Darmian.

I suppose Darmian could get a red card ????

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

I lead ScienceNerd 39-26. He has Romero, Hoolahan and Gomis left though. I only have Shaw.

I think it'll be very tight.

Ah no I'd say you have that unless Gomis really turns it on

The way my season's been going so far I expect you to blow me out of the water with a Shaw hat-trick tomorrow.

Leading 33-28 but he has Darmian & Depay to make up these 5 pts. So looks like my second defeat in a row. The 7 pts wasted on the bench from Myhill could have given me a real edge...

I'd rather United conceded 10 ha-
we had 8 of the same players and same captain was always going be a toss up

I lead gillispie road by 21 he has gomis cedric and Deeney to go.

He could do. I'm also worried about Hoolahan. He's more than capable of a decent score and Saints may have a European hangover.

Given the way this season is going for me, I fully expect a combined 4 points from Gomis and Hoolahan.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Another loss - that's one win from four. Not a great start

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

Three from four for the Commandos. Took a wildcard to defeat the lads in the match we lost.

They now head off for the international break highly confident.

Same, all 100% records are now gone, so 7 of us sit on 9 points with 3 wins from 4 if my count is correct.

Realistically had no chance after yesterday but happy to see I could lower the margin, 46-41 final score. Relegation from I'm in now though all can change this early on. Congrats
