Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It was bad but nearly all the finished players were over par today.

Indeed, it is tough out there as I was alluding to earlier. Singh's round is the standout.

Harrington plays his way out of the tournament with that round imo.

Definitely not if the afternoon scores are the same as the morning. If the leader at the end of today is no better than -4 or -5 then he's still well in it.

That is just a phenomenal shot from McIlroy

Even with the way he is putting?

Did he putt badly today? Cause he didn't putt too badly yesterday.

Woods looks to be in control of his game those low iron bullets are a thing of beauty
Rory's high ball flight will get him in serious trouble today hope I'm wrong but he isn't the greatest grinder in the world I can see the wheels coming off

Tiger was delayed from hitting a tee shot earlier on because there was a 'gator crossing the fairway - got me thinking, how do they control all of them with so many people on the course over the week? I'm sure there are wardens etc, but they can't be everywhere. I know there are a few people on here who have played in similar courses in the States, so they may have some idea.

Very strange watching them take practice shots in the bunker

They are not classified as bunkers, but rather sandy areas, as the American commentators keep reminding us every 10 mins.

Woods going well lads? ALways take the least interest in this major but gonna try follow completely over next 2 days!

Looks like Luke Donald's wait for a first major will go on for another season. Finished at +6 and is most likely out. Westwood could follow him.

Hes starting to get on my nerves. Sounds like he'd be better off narrating a nature documentary

They did say that when the wind gets up here, players will struggle to make 72.

Looking down the leaderboard, there are some very high numbers. Doug Wade (club pro) was +21 for today giving him +32 for his two days. Could you imagine what us amateurs would be going around in??

Paul Casey with another shocking tournament. A man in a major slump.

I know I'll get slated for this but I quite like Montys commentary. I like the fact he says 'Wow' every five minutes and the way he says it.

    Do I need help/locking up?

    Shocker from McIlroy.

I honestly cannot remember a time I've ever seen a pro whiff (if you want to call it that)a putt.

Gee I thought Harrington's round was bad, but he moved up in the leaderboard today. He'll have to hope Petterson and Woods mess up though.

Haha trying to imply that someone would actually look at the leader board and analyse the golf and put a round in perspective.. Solid round for a Friday all things considered, if you ask me.

Anyone else notice that there's feck all spectators there? Compare the rush around Tigers ball in the spectators area there, forming a small little circle, to the hundreds we saw forming around a ball at the British open.

Racking my head here, but is this the first time in any of the Majors this year that Tiger has been the sole leader at any point?

Still enough of the 'get in the hole' mob there though.

Maybe, but it's only a matter of time really. Expect 18 by 2015 anyway ;)
