Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just post if your gonna post it...

Its a 24 runner race so how good can it be??

Could be very good if it wins. Lets just hope Tom or Hugh arent in the loop. Btw Celtic should be paying 5 places if they all stay in. And while Im here Celtic and Boyles are paying 5 places on the Scots National.

My guess is Extraterrestrial been a bit of money for it. 20's into 14's with PP.

  • Moderators Posts: 8,723 ✭✭✭x PyRo

    Cityscape is 20's into 10's.

Your one is still 16's on Bet365. They lower their prices during the night very quickly when there's money going on something.

I dunno what way to take that??

Ha, just got word of it there: Mull of Killough.

SF in a 24 runner aint great, fairly pissed my source got me all excited about it. I'm backing it nonetheless at 7/1, even though I've been guaranteed an e/w place (3/2), barely worth it at that price though.

    sound.. 13/2 with powers now..

    Le Taravo

Had a wind operation during the off season and also has a new trainer. I know this because i know the guy that owns him. Im going to back him e/w without the favourite on paddypower online. That should give me 5 places as the favourite should be placed

    Get on:D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 430 ✭✭cullen5998

Coat of arms to win the first. 13-2 On paddypower now.

    4-1 on course.

    Came from Davy Russell

Was third, thought he looked like a winner on the way home. Still thought 13-2 each way is ok

He took the gas off Mull of Killough when the inside runners got blocked in. Mess of a race, got himself in a nightmare position.

gonna jump on this but .... very sceptical.... horse could go either way ...we dont know if new trainer is good or if the operation has impeded the horse.... gonna do €50 ew....so fingers crossed it will place at least .... worst case I'm down €100...and cant gamble the rest of the weekend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,853 ✭✭✭Kod-box

Lot of money to be thrown on a blind tip imo, gonna throw €10e/w myself though so hope it pays off lol

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 430 ✭✭cullen5998

Its expected to be placed and is working well in training. Hopefully all goes well now. By the way the horse is a half brother to master minded. The trainer is a local trainer, its his home track.

i set aside €100 per week .....for gambling/loosing....so putting it all on one nag ... worst case I have no other bets this weekend, if it wins... it will be super, if it places...will earn a fair chunk...if it fails ... no gambling for the week.

Anyone know what a lucky 15 each way with the following is worth or is it worth anything?

    10/3 place
    14/1 place
    7/1 win

    50 cent stake

    thanks

It would pay 2-1 roughly. You had 1 loser ya?

    50c in total = €15 total = €32.72

One loser yeah. Does the order matter?

Nope, i used to partial to these type bets myself. As long as you get 1 place/win you will get something back:D

    Heres a calculator link.

2nd fav got upset and sweated up in the pre-race and finished last. Obviously didn't run its race.
