Remind me of this... Wasn't he also a gangster in Veronica Guerin??

He played the part of Ray O'Driscoll. Killed his brother Oliver with a shovel to the face. Then fled the country.

The build-up to the love scene can be watched here - first two minutes of this clip. Very strange.

    :)

I thought that was a joke first, and then I watch a minute and a half of the clip.

She wasn't a bad actress back in the day - certainly much more natural than she is now. I wonder why that is?

Only noticing this now and like everyone else I'm confused as to why they're blaming the Euros as the soccer is on RTE 2.

I think she's sick in real life that's why we never see her, it would be unfair to replace her with someone else.

Yeah, "A Rita" is for life, not just for Christmas!

They are just making sure that it doesn't clash with the Euros, Coro St, Emmers and Eastenders. Making sure in RTÉspeak means allowing it to clash with at least 2 of the above for 15mins.

That Niamh is a thick bitch, just because she never left Ireland and is stuck in a rut with her life doesnt mean she should tell Sean not to go and travel when he is young.

Anybody else think that Blackie Connors is actually Neasa's Father?

That was a good episode. Cass was great in the community centre, talking about how majestic the Rockies are.

Why does RTÉ care whether or not Fair City clashes with the European Championship quarter-, semi- and grand finals?

Most people who watch Fair City are not interested in football.

    Defo...I said that ages ago.

Throwaway remark a while back about Neasa being nothing like Tommy.

Judith telling Neasa that she loves her out of the blue in tonight's episode.

The "26 years" comment at the end of tonight's episode.

That was the best part of the episode so f*cking sick of the awful Dillion family wish they'd all f*ck off to Kilkenny to Zak and take Greyie Connors with them
