Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    You hit more super shots that day than the rest of us manage in a month! Been playing solid but not spectacular golf since. Reasonably consistent though which is always nice.

    We haven't had too many outings since. We had one in Athlone which was enjoyable. Captains Prize is on Saturday and the weather is forecast to be good so happy days!

    Will have to take my name off the reserve's list. Made other plans that weekend as i wasn't sure i would get in and something else came up.

    Is this definitely going ahead?

    What date, course and time are playing at

    I'm working the weekend of the 14th unfortunately so if it is that weekend I'm out unfortunately but if it happens any other weekend I can be put on the reserve list.

    Denisoc16 will know me as I played against him in the Boards Matchplay in Castlemartyr 3 or 4 years ago under a different username "Mrcheckraise." Currently off a 10 handicap and still seething from a blow up in that matchplay :rolleyes:

    Don't worry anyway - plenty of Matchplay experience since!

    First group will be away at 10:00 am sharp and presumably every 10 minutes after that.

    If possible, can as many be there before the first group head out so we can meet the opposition? All of us know who we are by now.

    And lastly, how many are hanging around after for a bite to eat.

    I'm fairly flexible timewise. Dublin to Carlow is a short enough trip.

    I'll be staying around for food afterwards.

    Novenas to Ian Poulter will be starting earlier than Friday night I reckon! :D

    Hi,

    I'll be hanging around for grub afterwards. I'll try to be there by 10am but if you could slot me in for one of the later tee-times just in case, that would be great. It's about 2 - 2.5 hours to Carlow for me, similar for other half of the team Freemount09 if I'm not mistaken so probably makes sense.

    All ready for Saturday morning, I've had Rory McIlroy's alarm clock flown in specially :-)

    Well lads, after a bit of deliberation and some jigging around here are our teams v opposing teams which we propose to send out to battle on saturday.

    We've looked at them and they seem the fairest.

    Only other thing we need from each player on the day is additional a few euro to cover the cost of the trophy, 3 euro from us all should cover it.
