Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Do people have peer-to-peer enabled or disabled when downloading ?
    I have it enabled, but not getting very good connections...max total is about 150kb/s



    Edit : Disabled now, gettin proper speeds ! 1.5mb/s etc

    I left it at default settings this afternoon and had it done in under 5 hours. Kinda slow but I wasn't in a rush.


    I hate singeplayer games that force you to connect online..servers be busy...sigh

    A few hitches for a few hours is expected. They have to have known exactly how many they sold though so.....days of this is not on. Patient hats on lads. :)

    He should be ok if the game options are in English though. I would be kicking myself if i downloaded the wrong client by accident. Wouldnt stop me from playing it though. Mandarin Chinese? Challenge accepted.....:rolleyes:

    If I'm not mistaken, there is just one european client. It has all the languages on it so the German T&C was probably just a glitch. I'd say he's fine.

    Oh..this is just like the Open Beta weekend. Authentication servers not even close to being able to handle the volume. And this is just logging in....not even got to actually creating a new instance yet which will in itself probably take a few hours.

    3 years eh? Well, in that time Sony and Microsoft got together to make the pc killer console, called the X-station. It was pricey with a €2k mark, but came with guaranteed future proofing, had specs above the best gaming rig that was available, and was hand delivered by a Japanese schoolgirl. However, it failed epically, so epically that all talk of it was deleted from the internet and peoples minds, MIB style. The reason? Valve stated they would not support HL3 on it... :-/
