Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Everytime I hit the join button this happens:

You could try on the Strava Dashboard-Explore-Clubs-type boards.ie
and join from that page, might work

You have to make sure that your club is set to boards.ie
I am a member of another club and it only added my metres after I changed it from that club to the boards.ie one.

It doesn't seem to update immediately either so it may take a short while for your name to appear.

    #59 now.

only 11 in the competition but 40 in the group - if you're in the group, click on "compete" and add yourself to the competition - as Tesco says - "Every lilttle helps!"

haha, for the men overall I'm still #3 http://app.strava.com/komchallenge/men/overall

I won the competition in January (GC helped) but to win every month is WAY too much climbing during the season!

haha, I'll see you climbing 60km vertical every month.

Actually, all that climbing isn't good for racing anyway - Basso has his training online and even him as a GT rider living in Italy doesn't climb much more than me!

    Now 43rd. http://app.strava.com/komchallenge/club/overall?page=3

ye need to click on the Compete to get your vertical kms added to the boards.ie score. Go for it !:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,222 ✭✭✭michael196

so i clicked compe but it is only listing 17 riders , why is that ?

Not sure....45 boards.ie strava club members, 20 are competing, 19 have ridden in Sep ?

We are now 41st for 2011, 1 place off page 2, dont get too excited now.:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,964 ✭✭✭cantalach

Oh I didn't realise I had to explicitly join the competition - I thought just being in the boards.ie club would work. Anyway, I've just done this so my 90,000m climbing so far this year have been added to our total. When the rankings are next updated (every ~30 minutes) we should move up to 36th for this month.

  • Registered Users Posts: 607 ✭✭✭seve65

Now reached 39th thanks to Cantalach, and the heady heights of page 2 for 2011, destroying the 'vertical pandas' in the process !

Funnily, I've been adding my commutes to Garmin connect and my races/training spins to Strava. When they sort out the "commute" filter I'll upload everything there.

you can tag the ride as a commute if you like when editing it, dunno if that's enough for you
