The FSA Draft -Chat and Banter.

We tried to get this up and running before the season started to no avail.

So lets try again. I am happy to organise it for the season.

To keep it manageable we limit the number of entrants to 20.

So the first 20 regular posters to reply to this thread are in. For now you just need to declare your interest.

To help with the banter please only declare your interest if you are a regular.

This will be a 'Snake Draft'. Below rules.

Once we have 20 entrants identified we will arrange them in random order.

Then we start the draft.

Draft rules:
1) Your team must consist of 1 goalkeeper, 2 defenders, 2 midfielders, 1 striker as categorised in the FPL player listings.

2 You cannot pick a player that has already been picked by another entrant.

3) You must pick in the correct order per below.

=>First in the list picks his goalkeeper.
=>Second in the list picks his goalkeeper.
=>…
=>Last in the list picks his goalkeeper.
=>Last in the list picks his first Defender.
=>Second last in the list picks his first defender.
etc etc

Picking order is Goalkeeper, Defender 1, Randomise, Midfielder 1 + Forward, Randomise, Defender 2 + Midfielder 2

To keep the draft picking phase moving at a reasonable rate, 'Daytime' is defined as from 9am to 9pm. If next in line to pick does not pick within 3 hours 'daytime' then we move on. The delinquent picker can make their choice retrospectively.

4) Player Scoring will follow FPL scoring including bonus points.

5) I will publish updated tables every gameweek or so.

6) Initial draft will be complete by start of Gameweek 4.

7) Transfers only on the below gameweeks.

Window 1. Gameweek 11 (11:30 on 8 Nov-11:29 on 22 Nov)
Window 2. Gameweek 25 (19:30 on 10 Feb – 11:29 on 21 Feb)
To make a transfer you simply come to the main thread, declare your transferred player out and transferred player in.
You cannot transfer in a player that is already in someone else's team.

8) That’s all I can think of, but sure we may add a few more rules as time goes on!
