Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yes, it's a software update, for the
    Factory apps

Ah right, thought you meant as OS Update.

LG's track record is not the best alright. They are changing and i am hopeful for L though. If not there is always the custom Rom route

    Just read this on
    Android Origin:
The S5, Note 3 and LG G3 have themselves not received the Android 4.4.4 update, despite leading the flagship brigade. So it is well under the realm of possibilities that the South Korean giants end up skipping an Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for all their phones (including the current as well as ex-flagships) and roll out Android L directly upon its eventual release. If that happens, Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2 and LG G2 would virtually be stuck on their current firmware for at least a year, since it is going to be at least a month before Android L lands on its Nexus brethren, and then another three to four months (nearly six months for the US) before the update becomes available for the flagships.

Have had this phone for a few months now, and I love it, but I do find the stock keypad annoying in so far as the space bar is too small.
I keep hitting the full stop when typing, looks like I'm sending an old style telegram.
Can someone suggest a keypad that I can use that gives me emoticons also.
I don't like Swype & not a fan of swiftkey, anybody have any ideas?

Yeah, got it done in a shop. Man said it was one of the tougher screens to do because of the lack of bezels, so be careful if you're doing it yourself.

Not really they where going brand new on amazon for 300 at one stage and since warrenty etc isnt supported over here unless you ordered from amazon the resell value is low.

Im using a LG G Pro 2 and its the best phone ive ever used period and i have used all the latest and greatest.

Pity they resell for low value.

I will not be rushing into upgrading. There will most likely be issues.

The only feature i am wanting in 5.1, is the ability to sign into my Chromebook using my phone :D

I also cannot see any dust but it must be in there

Microphone works perfectly with the back cover off but it's muffled with the cover on. Strange. Cover looks OK aswell.

Lads can anyone recommend somewhere to get a screen+digitizer replaced? My g2 took a tumble last night when I was under the influence and screen is smashed in one corner, but the main problem is that the touch screen is now erratic and doesnt work properly at all. Could try fixing it myself but happy to pay to get it done properly. Guess my main concern is data privacy, handing it over to a repair shop hence why I'm looking for a recommendation.

Back up your data and factory reset it before handing it in to be repaired. I got mine repaired after Christmas, cost €120.

I got quoted by places in temple bar and the place near Connolly train station from 150 to 200. So I bought the parts on Amazon and did it myself so it was about 50 euro and it was easy enough works perfectly now.
