17 weeks of Redzone = €2.94 per week

21 weeks of all of the above plus live games = €7.80 per week

There will be an option to buy a playoff add on which will again be probably around the €40-€50 mark iirc

I tended to only watch redzone and the 40min game highlights over the last few seasons. Sounds like the essentials package would suit me perfectly.

Anyone use the GamePass app on LG TV?
I installed it a few weeks back and it worked great but the last week or two it seems to have frozen and isn't fully loading properly. Tried a reinstall and made no difference.

Same exactly here on an LG OLED. It was working fine, now it’s freezing before the menu even opens. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it, and checked for a TV software update and no joy.

I have the LG app and using it on Xbox also. LG TV is getting to 5 minutes into hard knocks then freezing. Then second attempt got to 13 minutes and froze again.

Xbox app not working at all. Uninstalled it and re-installed and it's still not working.

App on phone seems to be ok.

I only use my phone and iPad and chromecast and it seems to work grand.

Also, the 12/12:30am games had a condensed version up by 5:30am this morning and the rest from 1am on had them up sometime before 7:30am. I mean on that front they seem to be keeping it up in the preseason.

Brazil was $150 (€135 or so). My VPN couldn't connect to India so I don't know but someone else said it was €115

Guys If im signing up through VPN for india - do i need to turn the VPN on everytime I go to watch - or can i just use it as normal? use it on my ps4 and chromecast as normal?

Nah, only when you subscribe. After that just use as normal.

Are there usually discounts during the year for gamepass essential? I usually just watch redzone, but I got the sky sports now tv deal for three months, so I'm hoping therell be a discounted rate halfway into the season when that runs out and then I'll grab Gamepass.

Signing up via India doesn't make a difference to how you watch it. It may be a different story if you use the VPN to watch the games, that way you might be able to circumnavigate the blackouts.

Or you might get lucky and not have the game blacked out in the first place. I wasn’t a subscriber last season but some who were have said earlier in this thread that they weren’t blacked out at all.

But if you are, in theory what you are saying is correct but some broadcasters are making it tougher for VPNs to get around, BBC for example but considering the NFL let you pay a discounted price by ‘changing country’, I doubt they’d be one of them.

Don't remember a single game last year that was blacked out (or the year before I'm sure)
Weather Irish IP's just got away with it I'm not sure.

Technically any IP out side Ireland or UK should work.

Yeah I had no games blacked out either the last two years and maybe you've worked it out but I don't know why or what happened but if they are blacked out this year then we got a good run.

Just remember if you don't like the NFL Network pre-game show (and I don't), from 5pm you can watch the pre-game show of the broadcaster (Fox or CBS) that is showing the individual games.

GamePass was acting funny in the first half as it was showing a competent Redskins team.

Seriously though, I had no issues. Perfect quality from start to finish. Watching on an Apple TV if that helps.

Pats/Steelers there at 6:30 this morning when I checked too.

I also noticed that there doesn't seem to be blackouts this year. I found it was the case with the early and late afternoon games.

Watching the Seahawks game the yellow first down line was missing for most of the game...I'm not blaming the app but unless I was imagining it it wasn't present.

Trying to watch a condensed game from last night and it plays on my phone, but the cast icon isn't there so can't cast to the TV (I was able to cast the Redzone last night). Nothing is playing at all on the PC and there were issues with the Firestick last night! Not a great start all round, they better get this sorted soon.

Watched the Ravens game on the xbox last night and it was flawless throughout. Thats with a wired connection. My laptop was a different story, watching redzone on that but I had to refresh the page on safari constantly as it kept hanging and wouldn't restart playing without a refresh. Very annoying as my wifi is the virgin media 500 mbps and is perfect for everything else. Will see how it goes next weekend but not a great start.

First time watching a game on one device and red zone on another and pleasantly surprised that they are pretty much in sync so you’re not seeing something on one screen ahead of the other.

NFL Gamepass blackouts. Will you be signing up?
