    The No Holds Barred movie & Steel cage match review has made it onto youtube! Somewhat of a big deal for us :) If you haven't seen it, definitely worth a watch. Possibly my favourite episode of OSW Review.

    No Holds Barred comparison : 1990 Laserdisc vs 2012 DVD

    Notes :
    The first thing you notice is the stunning upgrade in resolution for the DVD! Then the aspect ratios are different. (4:3 vs 16:9)

    The Laserdisc rip was made many years ago. If it were re-ripped today it'd look much better (compression gets better each year)

    The DVD shows slightly more on the sides (note the books on the bookcase, and the glassware on the RHS on the top right pic)

    But to achieve 16:9 aspect ratio they've cropped the top & bottom off the DVD picture. Generally this doesn't make a difference, it's just a tighter shot...except on the bottom right where it misses Hogan's Shaka Bra! Sacrilege!

    Cheers lads. Luke (from Piledriver) was very keen to do some kind of audio podcast so i thought i'd help him get if off the ground. Tried getting him to host it but he was having none of it so I leave the brain-work to him!

    Recently my blip account that hosts my videos (and also the iTunes feed) was flagged and deleted (another victim of Linda McMahon's senate run perhaps...) so I've had to scramble a bit and re-upload them elsewhere. From Rumble 89 onwards are all back up at http://download.OSWreview.com :) and I'm currently re-editing the stuff so it passes YouTube flagging, which is pretty stringent!

    Devastated that I lost all of my subscribers and am back down to almost starting over.

    Any thoughts on the new show would be appreciated, mainly want to know if we crossed the boundaries of good taste!
